Given that S2’s content does push the limit of regime tollerence for free speech and information flow, it’s significant to have alternative methods for accessing S2’s content outside of the current acceptable range.

To resolve this, S2 has several low-tech solutions which are basically standard plaform backups:

So in essence, Kiwix is an application that lets you download a whole library of content off line with relative ease.

This could be important in an info blackout, or internet shutdown type situation, although probably not as useful in the event of EMP unless you’re keeping sufficient electronics hardened with off grid power etc.
