What this is

I collate publicly published S2 material (Wire reports, briefings, and related open content) and repackage it into a searchable index—maps, entity pages, linguistic charts—for fun and free, in the same open spirit S2 uses when they put work out for the public.

Nothing here replaces watching or supporting S2 directly. If you want S2’s voice, go to their official channels. This site is a side project by a fan who likes the corpus and wanted a better way to dig through it.

What this is not

S2 Underground’s material (Wire text, briefings, and other S2-authored content shown or indexed here) remains theirs. That corpus is shared under Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) — the same license already noted in this site’s footer. This fan site’s own work — the search index, packaging, maps, entity pages, charts, copy on this About page, and other original tooling built to present that corpus — is released separately from S2’s authorship, under the same license (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). That is not a claim to own S2’s words; it only covers the fan-made layer around them.

Reuse must credit the right source (S2 for their material; this project for its packaging), stay non-commercial, and share alike under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 when you adapt either layer as the license requires.
