suppress or neutralize enemy air defenses.
(4) Control Measures. The following control measures assist in the manuever of forces
in MOUT:
(a) Objectives. When attacking to seize a foothold, the infantry unit may assign
subordinate units the first block of buildings as their first objective. When an objective
extends to a street, only the near side of the street is included. The final objective may
be buildings or key terrain at the far edge of the built-up area. Key buildings, or groups
