hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground this is the intel update for friday the 20th of may 2022 and it is being recorded the day prior on the 19th of may so let's get to it got a lot of stuff to talk about today so i'm just going to start off with critical infrastructure concerns and really the the kind of oddball out is uh the twitter slash elon musk debacle situation that everyone's been following uh over the past few weeks um really i don't have a whole lot to say about this um it seems like the deal for elon musk to purchase twitter is still kind of on hold slash limbo due to third party audits revealing that a significant portion of twitter twitter accounts are actually fake which is something that was not disclosed by twitter as part of the agreement so i guess we'll have to see how this works out the only reason i'm mentioning it is because again everyone's been talking about it and i guess social media like twitter especially twitter um people rely on it whether or not you like it or not i'd personally despise twitter no matter who owns it i just don't like it as a platform but despite how i feel about it it doesn't really matter it's still a huge communications platform for a lot of people on the planet so um i guess we'll have to keep an eye on this and see how it goes my guess is that elon musk will probably eventually end up buying twitter and seeing how that goes as far as whether or not it will be a good platform or not after that i don't know i highly doubt it um despite what many people might seem to think on the internet i personally don't think that um really any billionaire is the savior of mankind right so um i have so i have serious reservations and and i'm highly doubtful in anyone actually being able to provide social media in such a way that it's productive because i don't think that most social media especially twitter is a place where any kind of rationalism can thrive so i will be very interested to see how it goes and i think really the biggest part is the second and third order effects of this uh if i almost think that it's probably not a good thing uh because if elon musk takes over twitter and it's he's publicly stated that he is no longer a democrat and he is going to vote republican in this next election um the fact that he said that makes me think that there's going to be a a whole lot of conservatives uh rushing back to twitter uh because they've been banned from twitter and it's kind of obvious that twitter is a leftist platform i think that a lot of people are going to rush right back to twitter and we're just going to continue this goat rodeo for the next few years and i don't think that's productive i think that there needs to be another answer that's why we've been working on our our own solutions to this problem i don't think that twitter is going to be a safe haven for anyone and i don't think that it's going to be very much different than in the past you might have a lot more conservatives on it but i think that at the end of the day it's still a money-making platform and i don't think that it's a place for any kind of free speech to to take place so being like i mentioned the second and third order effects are going to be interesting to see what happens from this but other than that i'm really not interested in really following the my new details of of who owns twitter at any particular moment what i'm vastly more interested in is number two there which are the food distribution center fires which finally someone has noticed that an awful lot of food distribution centers production facilities packaging factories and warehouses have burned down lately now the mind my mind immediately thinks huh interesting isn't it this plays directly into the themes of food shortages being instigated by the government now i will say that there is very little evidence either way it's just a gut feeling that there's something fishy going on when at a time when food security has never impacted more people in the united states rationing is already at an all-time high since the great depression suddenly food distribution centers start burning down weird isn't it i don't know about anyone else but i don't believe in coincidences the the correlation in this example is way too strong to ignore even if there's really no evidence to indicate causation there's no evidence to indicate what's exactly happening so we're going to keep an eye on it obviously and i agree that that all of these warehouses burning down is more suspect than a than a ballot drop box but i really don't have anything at all to point fingers at any entity for the reason behind these fires but i would say that it's awfully convenient for the us government who is constantly and consistently trying to target the u.s citizenry such as the infant formula shortage moving on to number three the infant formula shortage is the result of a few things for one a few months ago i'm pretty sure most people don't remember but a few months ago there was a nationwide contamination of infant formula causing huge disruptions in the market again as we've said many times in the field of logistics a single factory being offline for just a short time results in widespread shortages and significant logistical challenges immediately however the shortage has directly been made worse by the us government in the form of the fda not allowing major factories to come back online until they meet us government standards now i must say that i do not know if this is a situation of the us government holding these factories hostage by forcing them to meet unmutable standards which is slowing production or if it's something else i think i think that's the case but i'm not really sure it could also be a case of manufacturers dragging their feet for a variety of reasons but again i'm inclined to think that the us government has a huge hand in this because of what happened immediately after the story of infant formula shortages going viral almost immediately this was used by pro-abortion activists as a way to push their ideology i cannot tell you how many times i have seen pro-abortion activists directly saying oh you can't feed your infant well you should have aborted it i have seen that specific line a lot brought to you from the same regime that said if you had an electric car you wouldn't be affected by fuel prices and shortages the same exact mentality has been applied to having children and i can barely contain my own anger just to get through this but this is what i'm seeing so yeah there is a lot of evil in the world these days and things like this confirm it so for the specific shortages of infant formula the fact that this has now gone viral means that there will be shortages everywhere there will also be shortages of things that parents with infants also need as well the rationale being once parents realize that the logistical supply chains relating to their infant are vulnerable they will buy as much stuff as they possibly can not just formula we're talking other baby supplies as well at least that's probably what i would do if i had an infinite home i'd be stockpiling as much of everything as possible so i'm not going to patronize parents by saying only buy what you need and don't panic buy because i know that's a futile effort when it comes to newborns instincts take over and we just have to realize that panic buying is going to happen so hopefully production capacity will be able to meet demand and we'll uh we'll get through this but in the meantime things are are not going to be super great along those lines moving on to number four fuel shortages as literally everyone in the country knows the entire country is suffering from high gas prices and availability issues as well so it's kind of a twofer right what's a much bigger problem than high gasoline prices is diesel shortages right now there is a shortage of diesel fuel all along the east coast which is going to wreak havoc on industry and the logistical transport of everything so availability is an issue but so is cost commercial truckers are kind of freaking out over this and rightly so because in many cases across the country the costs are so high that they can't even break even uh if it takes four thousand dollars worth of fuel to transport cargo from a to b and you're going to get paid three thousand dollars to do that that's a net loss so right now we're seeing a lot of trucking outfits especially independent drivers taking losses due to these high diesel prices and and other shipping costs and things high gas prices for standard gasoline are also going to sharply increase pretty soon at least that's what the internet seems to think i've seen some estimates by professional logistical think tanks that are expecting gasoline to possibly hit 10 dollars per gallon by the end of this year and i don't say that lightly and i don't say that to freak everybody out but right now a lot of gas stations are retooling or reprogramming their their pumps to account for double-digit gas prices so next time you're fueling up check and see if the pump has been retrofitted and had the screen replaced to actually add an additional place for an extra digit that alone is a pretty big indicator because gas stations are not going to go through that expense which surely is pretty high unless they truly believe the gas prices will get that high i i personally can't even imagine gas hitting double digits just just me thinking about it in the past i would have thought that some kind of civil rebellion would break out long before gas prices get close to double digits especially since we know that the earth has enough petroleum to last humanity like another thousand years or so what i mean is is clearly these gas prices are a politician's invention and the result of political decisions it's not a supply thing domestic gas prices are clearly being influenced by the federal regime which is all too happy to find a way to target the average american and since we're sucking all of our strategic reserves dry the federal regime is creating the conditions for things to get really really bad later so even if things stay the way they are with regards to fuel shortages and prices we're screwed but does anyone want to take a guess as to when the next cyber attack on a pipeline or pol processing facility is going to be a cyber attack that the fbi will magically be able to solve a week after it shuts everything down exactly everyone should expect that by now cyber attacks that are attributable to no single actor and yet the federal government is able to magically solve the problem after the damage has been done i would consider that a new norm in this fifth generation war so with all this cheery stuff out of the way let's move into something more exciting significant governmental actions and up first is number one uh the issue of the army's new recruitment ad for the psyop community the perpetual pain in my rear i wasn't even going to talk about it but i figured i probably should because it has a slight variation of our logo in it and for those that haven't been following us for a while we have no affiliation with army socom or really any government agency or service branch at this point the ghost icon actually comes from a historical military unit that i personally thought was kind of cool because i like to study military history and i once did a term paper on them so i picked that because i we needed a logo for instagram a couple of years ago and a buddy of mine spent exactly four minutes drawing this so and after a while it just stuck um and recently other groups agencies and organizations have picked up the ghost logo and used it as well including army psyops which is which makes sense because they're the descendant of that original military unit they're trying to look to history to rebrand the psyop community into something vastly better than it is so they're bringing back an icon from their glory days which i understand to be honest and since we're not talking about it as far as the analysis of the video i think that it's hilarious and also tragic at the same time you would think that the people who would be able to read the room the most would be the psyop community but apparently not somebody down at bragg should have thought hmm you know right now with all this information warfare going on maybe we shouldn't put this out because the american public is going to take it the wrong way but no nobody thought that and guess what your cloak and dagger message that would have been really cool 10 years ago now brought you into the spotlight so way to go genius remember i'm an analyst by trade so i guess i'm biased by knowing the culture of military intelligence but i personally am not concerned or scared by any of the messaging in the video i don't think it's particularly nefarious i think it's what military leadership would look at and think man that's a cool recruiting video now right now a lot of dudes in the psyop community are high fiving over this ad which kind of hints to the effectiveness of the organization as a whole and for the people that are going to say oh they're just talking about controlling the narrative out in the open because they always tell you their plans for the prophecy to be fulfilled right let me stop you right there the military side community is not that there is a gigantic grand canyon of differences between military intelligence and domestic civilian intelligence the two communities are not compatible which is why it's hilarious to see someone talking about the intelligence community like it's one big thing the intelligence community is a dozen or so directors of various agencies making decisions without listening to anyone beneath them i was a military intelligence analyst for over a decade and i never once considered myself to be part of the intelligence community i could barely get my own commanders and bosses to listen to me much less a congressman or the director of an agency so to think that the intelligence community actually does any intelligence at all is laughable it's a political organization and it always has been and on the military side of things the psyop community is mostly known for six weeks of planning replanning and more planning just to drop a load of leaflets or make a single social media post that no one is going to read anyway so all in all the sciop community is about as efficient and professional as the military intelligence community which is to say that it's crippled by bureaucracy about 50 years behind the times when it comes to doctrine and tactics filled to the brim with people who are just looking to appease their boss to get a promotion and largely irrelevant when compared to one dude on instagram making memes i mean come on guys i really hate to burst their bubble but man this ad is disappointing if the psyop or soft community at large i guess cannot take the pulse of america and realize that this recruiting ad makes them out to be the enemy of americans that speaks volumes about their effectiveness they can high five and pat themselves in their backs for finally creating a non-woke recruiting ad that is cool and 10 years ago i would agree with them this would have had people lining up to join just like those navy recruiters that set up tables outside of movie theaters that were screening top gun back in the day remember that i get it i really do but not today this ad was a swing and a miss too little too late and only effective at making regular americans look at the socom community with suspicion so if you want an indicator of measures of effectiveness there you go i look at this ad as a resume for army psyops and i'm not impressed again i would have been impressed 10 or 15 years ago but right now if we crack open the psyop handbook and start evaluating this information campaign on target demographic and effects achieve this was a disaster if these guys can't even get their own advertisement right what am i supposed to think about the rest of the military psyop community the goal of this advertisement was to recruit people into the psyop community but what did it really do time will tell if it failed on the recruiting aspect but there's two things that it did succeed at number one freaking out civilians and making the psyop community look like the enemies of the people and two bringing a community that thrives in secrecy into the public sphere they shined a spotlight on themselves at a time when they are trying to fight an information war with russia and china and everyone else so all in all this is again disappointing i really shouldn't be disappointed after all the dod's motto these days is to lower your expectations right i know my navy guys out there know what i'm talking about so sorry for the rant but i felt like bursting bubbles today i've seen a lot of talk over the past couple of weeks because a lot of people have gotten too big for their britches over this ukraine situation a lot of military commanders think that based on russia's poor performance in ukraine they could beat them easily since that war is a war of information as well i've been seeing a lot of people thinking their hot stuff just because russia is doing poorly so i occasionally like to remind people that a dozen people making memes on instagram is more effective at shaping narratives than the bureaucratic upper echelons of the psyop community up next is the proposed rule changes for this year for the who's international health regulations and yes this is really obscure um this kind of ties into the who treaty that a lot of people are talking about which is it's slightly separate but it's kind of kind of the same thing it's really complicated um but i did see this being mentioned online and i wanted to kind of calm the situation down a bit um every few months we get inundated with emails about something to do with the who or the un or nato um i remember last year the story was the chinese had invaded canada remember that one the videos circuit there's like one grainy video circulating of chinese troops patrolling the canadian wilderness and setting up secret bases right um or better yet container ships full of chinese troops being landed in california man that that story was completely made up and it was a thorn in my side all last year um it was completely false with like the tiniest tiniest gram of truth um and it circulated like wildfire online and um big social media accounts occasionally picked it up and in turn my inbox filled up well this event the whole rule change has a lot more validity so i want people to be aware of it but i also want to prevent it from slipping down the same road as other stuff and getting kind of spun out of control so here's what the deal is the who the world health organization maintains this thing called the international health regulations kind of like a set of rules that member states have to abide by sort of like an international standard for health events you see where this might be going and every year there are additions or corrections made to the set of rules and this year the biden regime submitted some rule changes that have raised some eyebrows again to prevent this from slipping into the realm of propaganda a lot of websites have popped up calling this an attack on the united states sovereignty and that these rules allow the who to override the us constitution i would encourage you to read the document yourselves i will provide the link in the description and i will put it on the sources slide as usual i have read it and though i am certainly no lawyer i do not see anything that jumps out at me as being holy cow get your kit yes these proposed rule changes are not good and grant the who a lot more authority and i'm going to put a fat asterisk next to that word authority for later so remember that but when i read this i thought ah they're trying to poke china the proposed rule changes look like they're meant to target china which is interesting if you take the politics out of it which is hard to do i understand but if you look at it objectively you got to realize that china caused a lot of problems for the world they warped the entire health care industry especially in the international scene and allowed the perfect conditions for tyranny to run rampant but they also completely negated world health care issues and the entire planet's infrastructure for handling like legitimate contagions right so all in all please read the document yourselves but nowhere do i see anything that allows the who to do anything really and coming back to that asterisk on authority you really have to understand how non-binding international agreements really are and that's not even considering the fact that the united states is going to have to ratify this you know the congress is going to have to ratify it which they i mean honestly they probably will because all of congress is on the side of the bible regime right on stuff like this so but even taking that into account honestly all international diplomacy is just lip service the only international diplomacy that decides issues is war the who says we order you to do x and a nation says make me and the who backs down because they aren't going to be able to win that fight over something that small i'm doing a really poor job of explaining this but just know that i'm not so concerned about this particular document what's going to happen on the national or international stage is beyond all control from us mere citizens anyway and this applies to the the who treaty that people have been talking about that is sort of along the same line so you can kind of cut and paste you know the the kind of explanation over onto the wha treaty type stuff so again there are efforts i will agree there there do seem to be efforts um that world leaders are taking to create more of a world government right it's called globalization right that's just it's just the way it is like look at the um world economic forum i mean there you go there's your platform right if anybody is surprised by this at this point i don't know what to tell you but again if and when international agencies start challenging us authority more than they already do we citizens will of course do what needs to be done whether or not the biden regime literally walks into the national archives and shreds the constitution by hand or if they sign away our natural rights to an international conglomerate the effect for you and me is the same so even if the bible regime and congress and the supreme court sign away all of our rights and sign up americans for complete totalitarianism my life doesn't change that much because i'm already living as if totalitarianism is here because it is i've talked a lot about this before especially after the election but what's done is done and the fact that we are in the situation we're in that alone has obliterated all of our founding documents and our founding ideals at least on an institutional level socially yeah we can still talk about that but institutionally is there anything that matters anymore they're going to do what they're going to do whether or not they sign a piece of paper to it or not the bible regime did plenty of things without actually signing an executive order anyway for how many companies went above and beyond to follow laws that did not exist we covered that extensively too so they don't exactly need a treaty or a piece of paper to bring in totalitarianism but if they want to formalize it i guess that's probably what they're going to do so again i've beat this horse enough but hopefully that explains my line of thinking with things like this 20 years ago yeah they probably would have thrown a president under the jail for anything that the biden regime does on a regular tuesday they just break laws that often but that's not the world we live in anymore things have changed so that's really all i have on that at least until something else comes out about it then i'll probably be forced to talk about it even more moving on to number three the supreme court leak um this of course is something that everyone has probably probably already knows about um but i think that if you were to go look up what uh clarence thomas has been saying on this uh i think he he is probably the best source for what this means for the for the future of the court now i personally am no fan of clarence thomas for for many reasons but um i do think that he's correct and i think that he has given the most accurate uh portrayal of what this means for the court i think that of course out of all of our government right out of all of our government all three branches um their authority comes from the perception of their authority right and their force comes from the perception of their force when people realize that they can't back up what they're saying we have things like minneapolis riots right so if you have that on an institutionalized national scale if people start realizing hey if we don't do what the supreme court says um what are they going to do about it they have no enforcement ability and the biden regime figured this out a long time ago with regards to their uh medical mandates right they just openly stated that they're not going to follow stuff if you guys remember the press secretary um saying that so it's like well what are you gonna do you know when the supreme court says something and you say no we're not gonna do that um does that mean the supreme court is kind of irrelevant i think so and to some degree so again the supreme court thing i think is just an illustration of the larger problem which is i don't know maybe maybe maybe a collapsing society maybe a decaying civilization i don't know maybe a fifth generation war i don't know either way clearly the institutions particularly the justice institutions are um they're not doing so hot right now and arguably they haven't been doing so hot for a very very long time so i guess we'll have to see what comes out about this um and this is kind of related to the next one number four which is the uh inevitable second amendment infringements that are going to happen um due to recent events so moving on to that one uh just in time for the election cycle there have been multiple attacks conducted by people with firearms over the past few weeks i honestly have a lot to say about this latest one the one that looks like the most obvious false flag attack since the vegas shooting but i'm not really going to go down that road too much all i will say is that every single thing about this attack screams that it was a false flag attack that's just my gut feeling i've really nothing other than that the guy was a socialist communist and his manifesto has been blacklisted by all media because that's what he said in it which counters the narrative of white supremacy um much like how mainstream media forgot all about the dc sniper a couple weeks ago because he was a black supremacist this latest incident is of course being shaped by the ministry of truth as much as it can be which includes removing his manifesto from the internet because specific wording in the manifesto was suspiciously similar to other shooting incidents honestly this guy looks like a fed that infiltrated a white supremacist group to get clues but they never really accepted him into the group so he had to go to wikipedia for his narrative which is why nothing he said or did looks like something that a real supremacist would say or do and something else very suspicious is the fact that he said all of the magic buzzwords and used all of the magic gear that feds want to ban anyone with common sense can see that there's something going on here but since i have nothing concrete all i can do is grumble to myself and watch what's going to happen and here's what's going to happen the atf is going to use this incident to get a new director that will make david chipman look like barney the dinosaur the bothering regime is going to ban whatever they can get their hands on and even average us citizens are not going to follow those rules companies particularly small companies that sell firearms or firearms gear or parts are going to get the shaft and most importantly federal agencies are going to allow communist groups and terror groups like blm to run rampant with their violent rhetoric which is already completely unchecked by any counter-terror organization which actively encourage these people to target people based on their ideology again this is all my own opinion which i guess is my magic caveat that is my polite way of saying that i don't care if people disagree with me and i say all of this with a bit of vested interest which is why i wanted to remind everyone to stay vigilant and watch your back i know everyone says this all the time but we here recently got a not so pleasant reminder of how important it is to remain vigilant in public i do not like to talk about my own experiences with the tension in public these days because i only see a very small part of the world i don't travel all over the country and i don't have a really good sample size for making an assessment of society at large i guess and i live in an extremely politically insane location so my own personal experiences are certainly not representative of the nation as a whole but one of my staff members here almost got killed or seriously injured yesterday when two people in a vehicle crossed multiple lanes of traffic to try and run us over in a parking lot while we were out running some errands i cannot go into too many details for opsec reasons but based on the occupants of the vehicle who were both wearing face masks and the political statements on the vehicle it was pretty clear to me that it was a racially motivated attack which is probably more sad to me than any other kind of attack to be honest but we here are all okay i was a bit better off than our rider who was much closer to buying the farm than i was but they were able to evade in time but it was a close one thankfully at least one bystander checked to see if we were doing all right but everyone else that saw the incident did nothing as expected again i'm talking about this nonchalantly because honestly this kind of thing is super common in my local area at this point i don't live in a historically bad or high crime area i mean it's not that it's not the nicest place but even in my very small part of the world the city centers are absolutely insane and this has only happened over the past couple of years really and no we did not involve local law enforcement because our local police department does not respond to crimes like this anymore in fact we would be lucky if anyone even answered the phone when we called 9-1-1 so we didn't even bother they just tell you to come in and fill out the report at the station which i am not going to do because the police department is located in an extremely high crime area and people are routinely attacked or mugged going into that station because people know that anyone going into the police station is unarmed again if this sounds crazy it is but i'm not trying to harp on how much my own local area has gone to hell in just a couple of years i'm mentioning this as a plea for everyone to be careful watch your back and do what you have to do to be safe out there because even in a place like where i live where crime really wasn't a thing just a couple years ago there were basically no arrests in my area just a couple of years ago and i have zero indications that things like this will get any better anytime soon so again be careful out there i know not a super cheery way to end this segment but that's always the way it is isn't it oh well nature of the content i guess so let's move to international issues up first is russia uh i'm obviously not going to be talking too much about it due to youtube's policies which ban us from talking about anything bad ukraine might be doing um so we're just not going to talk about it but the thing i did want to talk about is this anti-russian sentiment and how things have gotten out of control on that front i'm just going to say up front you always need to leave someone and out like on the high school debate team you never want to back someone into a corner because when you do they just stop playing the game and nothing productive happens and the russian people have been hurt thousands of russian mothers will never see their sons again and all because of a war that they didn't ask for russia has lost more soldiers in a month than the u.s lost in afghanistan in 20 years think about that for a second think about how you felt every night when dan rather cut to a soldier's d.a photo as the nightly news ended using the same b-roll from the last time a soldier got killed i don't know about you but i damn near lost it every time and i still get angry thinking about how my youth was spent watching soldiers photos scroll by on the evening news now think about what russians are feeling right now with their extreme losses i don't know about anyone else and even though youtube has ordered us to not talk about ukraine's crimes i'm not going to kick someone when they're down even if they are an adversary russia has learned many lessons all of them the hard way and even though the anti-russian mass hysteria is in full swing my personal opinion is that if the west keeps kicking russia when they are down we are not going to like what that brings in the future for me russia is an adversary but not an enemy the relationship between russia and the united states is competitive and adversarial on many topics for better or worse but for me the russian people are certainly not an enemy my enemies are the people that started this mess on all sides and in my day-to-day life my enemies are certainly more domestic than foreign at this point right now with all of this anti-russian hysteria people are playing with fire they're playing with fire and they don't know it because the political elites are treating this ukraine situation just like every other issue they use to rile people up years ago it was occupy wall street then climate change then it was religion by way of refusing to make a wedding cake then robert de niro's anti-jab stuff then back to climate change then russia gate then veganism or election stuff and back to climate change then blm and antifa then the virus that cannot be named then back to climate change again then ukraine and now roe versus wade i wonder how much youtube is going to shadow ban this video just because of that paragraph i just read but anyway you see the point ukraine was just a play thing which has apparently now been cast aside but ukraine out of all of these issues was a very dangerous thing for mass hysteria to latch onto there are real concerns here this is not a game there are real defense issues to work through both tactically and socially within the us military there are lessons to be learned in the civilian sector too most of all among citizens again for tactical and social reasons all i'm saying is that there are a lot of things going on right now with regards to russia and ukraine and this mass hysteria that we're seeing is severely warping what should be happening like we mentioned before banning russia's access to banking is a crime but visa and mastercard did it anyway that's going to come back to bite us hard things that we do not think about are also affected think about the international search and rescue community the us and russia coordinate a lot of rescue efforts because we have joint agreements with regards to search and rescue satellites same thing with a space program or international shipping or trying to work with china because russia is the only quasi friend that china has got so our efforts to combat china are affected by russia too even though i personally think russia was definitely in the wrong to invade ukraine poking the bear and letting mass hysteria get way out of control so that that poke becomes a shove is not productive right now we need world leaders to put on some big boy pants and solve problems rather than creating them like they always have done we need people to mediate international relations and start working towards solutions for this because this has gotten way nastier than i think anybody ever expected but that's warfare for you but no what we have is incompetent world leaders playing with fire because they either one don't remember the cold war for what it really was or two have been in politics for so long that they are incapable of seeing any form of reality and that in my opinion is not good and speaking of this russia craziness let's move on to finland and sweden joining nato potentially so for those who haven't heard finland and sweden have both officially submitted their applications to join the north atlantic treaty organization and the proceedings are kind of going on right now right now it's everything's kind of stalled as far as i know um turkey is kind of holding up proceedings a little bit and kind of causing a ruckus but um a lot of people are going to ask what does this mean and is this good or bad uh i don't know if it's good or bad but i will say that it's not good for relations and it's not good for tensions it will escalate the situation even more than the u.s has over the past month in my opinion like i have any bearing on world events or what i say matters whatsoever i think that they should have waited finland would still have been perfectly justified along with sweden and norway and joining nato two or three years from now granted i understand that they are trying to strike while the iron is hot and never let a good crisis go to waste but this i think is too soon russia is still wounded from how the ukraine situation worked out and right now they are likely to lash out in ways that we are not going to like so i think that finland and sweden joining nato is going to cause more problems than its worth clearly russia is incapable of taking even ukraine arguably the easiest target on their border to suggest that russia even has the slightest hope at successfully invading finland or sweden or poland for that matter is laughable granted if i was finnish or swedish or norwegian i would feel differently historically being situated close to russia has been hazardous for one's health so scandinavian countries increasing their civil defense is always a good idea i think that civil defense is one of the best justifications for even having a government but also it's one of the most under-utilized sectors of government here in the us our civil defense procedures haven't been updated since the 1980s which is a shame but anyway nato membership yeah i think that that's going to cause more problems than it's going to solve norway sweden and finland certainly do not have large militaries but they are vastly more prepared than ukraine was in 2014 and they have history and geography on their side so all in all i think this native membership situation is a result of politicians getting something rather than a legitimate defense effort and it's going to cause russia to react and russia's reaction is going to escalate an already tense situation even more and it's going to justify everything russia has done as is russia has no leg to stand on but if scandinavia joins nato russia can say look they really are trying to surround us we need to strike first a very dangerous position to be in and that's exactly where we're heading moving down to india and sri lanka there is mass civil unrest underway right now the situation in sri lanka is not doing too well uh sri lanka is basically out of fuel which is a major barrier to food shipments around the nation india also has stopped exporting wheat because of their own food security issues which has caused even more food shortages than sri lanka because they're a major obviously a major trading partner in short the people of sri lanka are starving and pandemonium has been the result of that there's an old saying that we are only three meals away from total anarchy meaning that if a population's food supply gets disrupted for even just a single day for three meals in a row mass hysteria and civil unrest will result right now sri lanka is finding out exactly how true that idea is and it seems to be pretty accurate on social media i found some pretty gnarly stuff including local politicians being tortured and beaten by their starving constituents i obviously cannot show these videos here and i'm not sure if i'd want to anyway because if you just search out there yourself you'll find some pretty nauseating stuff in any case the situation for sri lanka does not look good and even though the situation is desperate it does not hold a candle to the international famine we will see if this trend spreads to the rest of southeast asia or even elsewhere so keep an eye on sri lanka and india too hopefully the logistical nightmares can reach at least some level of resolution soon and finally somalia the biden regime has deployed several hundred soldiers to somalia and yes i know what you're thinking nothing bad has ever happened in somalia right well right now the biden regime has stated that the number of troops will be capped at 450 but my assessment is that this is what we call a lie this is because the department of defense proudly concealed the true number of troops that were in afghanistan under trump and especially in the past couple of years everything the dod has done has indicated that the upper echelons of the dod is purely rotten to the core so my guess is that those 450 troops will probably be double triple or even quadruple that simply just for tourism patches and that's not including the various odas and teams that have been in somalia for years fighting al-shabaab aqap and the like groups which will only increase in size the reason for this deployment has yet to be released however i have my own guesses a couple of weeks ago there was a regime change and the new guy in charge was backed by the u.s shocking i know but now it looks like the us is protecting their investment and at the same time trying to counter china's influence in the horn of africa which has been expanding significantly under the guise of counter piracy so i don't know if somalia is going to be the new afghanistan i highly doubt it it's just it's a completely different fight it's a completely different set of mission set it's it's not really comparable but you never know right the dod is is all about furthering the military industrial complex because you know politicians in uniform have got to get their raytheon stocks up right so there's no telling what's going to happen um like i've been saying for a long time there are a lot of bad dudes in in africa with regards to um al qaeda and things like that the the sahel region out west and to the north north part of this northern part of africa and north saharan region man they're just eat up with aqap dudes and and al qaeda and al-shabaab and a lot of other groups that i forget same thing in sudan ethiopia eritrea places like that it's just become a hot spot for global insurgency and um you know i guess the opinion is you can have different opinions on whether or not we should be there or not uh and i think there's opinion that's a valid question to ask for sure uh but there's nothing i can do to change a dod's deployment right so i don't know what's going to happen is going to happen i guess and uh for those of you who have not been reading up on somalian history that right now would probably be a good time to do so um because it uh hasn't hasn't been a really good one so in any case that's really all i've got for today thank you again for watching everyone um we'll have another one of these briefs out Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for May 25th through the 31st, 2025. So let's get right to it. Around the world, the summertime kinetic activity appears to be in full swing this week with many conflrations arising and a few going away over the past few days in Mexico and really throughout North America at large. The cartel violence has continued as expected. Nothing really out of the ordinary. It's just that this week a couple of mass graves have been found or couple of body dump sites that have been a little bit more high-profile than normal. Again, the violence down there is not really uh it's hard to say if it's escalating or not. Most of this is really not that much out of the norm. However, again, due to local focus on things like this and a lot of local activism, there's definitely an increased focus on some of these uh very, very brutal attacks down there. Across the pond in Liverpool, the vehicle ramming attack suspect has been identified. This has been a rather contentious topic over the past few days. Ever since the vehicle ramming attack occurred, vehicle ramming attacks throughout Europe at large is is not really out of the ordinary. This is very much a standard thing, especially with the uh summertime weather which allows uh more cultural events, more you know, open street fair kind of things and uh you know, people trying to go out and enjoy the summertime and enjoy the good weather. Well, this means large crowds and large crowds always bring malign actors who uh seek to cause harm. In the case of the Liverpool attack, however, it is a little bit harder to slap that general, you know, terrorist label on this kind of thing. We will do so for now. We'll definitely call this uh and use language to refer to this as a vehicle ramming attack because that's what it was. And generally, that's considered to be terrorism. However, considering that this wasn't really a planned thing, it doesn't seem like it was. At least the street was just uh full of, you know, soccer fans, right? Football fans. So, I don't know if this is more along the lines of just a very aggressive and violent form of hooliganism or if this is a legitimate terror attack that we might see fairly commonly throughout Europe. Either way, British media has had a field day with this as the attacker's identity has been released as Paul Doyle. Depending on which sources you read, this is very contentious uh because a lot of people I I don't know what the truth is. I'll just state right up front. don't know what the truth is, but a lot of people suspect that the guy that they arrested and have identified as the attacker was not the guy. I don't know about that. Uh there have been some discrepancies with age. A lot of people were saying that the guy who committed the attack appeared to be much younger than a 53-year-old man who was arrested. There are also some indications that maybe a few uh uh rowdy fans uh who were trying to, you know, take the fight to the the terrorist, the the the attacker during this vehicle ramming incident. There's some speculation that a lot of those guys have been arrested as well for trying to get at the asalent. I don't know. It's a very very hard thing to assess right now. British media is no help. The authorities are no help. The authorities surprisingly or in this case very unsurprisingly released the guy's name rather early on uh in the investigation whereas of course people are drawing the the comparison that the Southport murderer his identity was withheld for months. Uh we didn't even we didn't even know what he looked like until after the conviction. So yeah, we're just going to have to see if we can get our hands on more media of the attack, more photographs of the attacker, more photographs of who they arrested, which so far I haven't seen any mug shot. uh haven't I've only seen courtroom sketches and those don't really those don't really help you that much. So, I don't know. Either way, I just wanted to point out that this is not your standard vehicle ramming attack. It it's a little bit more complicated than that and it's being made complicated by the follow on details of what's going on. So, when everybody hears a vehicle rams into a crowd, they immediately think jihadi kind of thing. They immediately think Islamic based terrorism. And so whenever that doesn't appear to be the case, it appears to be some uh what we might consider to be terrorism of some other variety, it's really hard to get a beat on sometimes. And I think that's what's going on here. So we'll see. But right now, there's not a whole lot to go off of. Similarly, much uncertainty remains in Iran with regards to the talks that are ongoing. Just like last week, uh in which I said there's been a lot of talk, but not a lot of action or any kind of verification that this talk has any credence. The same things happened this week. There's been a lot of talk that says that Israel is going to go to war with Iran one way or the other in the next few days. We've heard this many, many times before. I don't know how true this is. There's just not anything to go off of. So, but I'm not sure. All that seems relatively certain is that war with Iran is certainly still on the menu and it probably will be for a while. Uh, but in terms of figuring out, are we really going to do this? Is Israel really going to do this? Yeah, it's anybody's guess. Right now, they've got their hands full with Gaza. So, once that wraps up and they they finally achieved their goals there, uh my guess is that they'll have the ability to open up another front wherever they choose, whether it be West Bank, Lebanon, wherever. And that's probably going to continue for a while. In the South Pacific, things are both heating up and cooling down. Earlier this week, there was a brief border clash between Cambodia and Thailand in a very well-known disputed area. This happens occasionally. This is kind of a thing that's been going on for a long time, but for a few days there, it seemed like they were they were really getting ready to go to swinging at each other. This is something that happens quite often in this particular area. It's really just jungle, you know, just south of the Golden Triangle. So, you know, it's anybody's guess as what actually goes on out there in those jungles. But either way, both sides claimed that the other started it, and that's how border clashes usually go in this part of the world. Either way, both countries sent a few thousand troops from what I can tell to the border region before the leaders of both countries stepped in and said, "Hey, you know, cool it kind of thing." So, that's kind of how it remains right now. It's it's cooled off quite a bit, which is good. Uh, I don't know how much Cambodia and Thailand are are going to feel like going to war with each other. I don't think so. I think it's just a brief border spat, but you never know. Stranger things have happened. And it is most certainly the time where every other Tuesday you're just reading about two nations getting ready to go to war with each other. That's just kind of the way it is in the 2020s. So similar situation in China. Uh this week the United States and well China as well have been kind of trading rhetoric back and forth a little bit. The Pentagon the other day uh Pete Hexath the Secretary of Defense has made it clear that the Pacific pivot is definitely a military aspiration. Still, the United States is still very much considering China to be an adversary, especially when it comes to the use of military force in the Pacific theater. Now, I know that sounds like a lot of DC think tank talk, but this is generally true. Uh the United States is most certainly preparing for some kind of military aspiration on China's part. Mostly when we refer to uh this, we're talking about China invading Taiwan and the First Island chain. Not just Taiwan, but the whole first island chain, which includes parts of Japan, Okinawa, and uh the Philippines. So, is an invasion imminent? No, of course not. China's got quite a long time before that becomes uh viable, but they're working on it. China's getting a lot better at a lot of things, and it's going to sneak up on us. At least that's what the the Pentagon is trying to say. I don't know. There's a lot of rhetoric back and forth on that, but generally speaking, that's the kind of status right now. The dragon in the Pacific is definitely stirring, though uh things are not completely out of control just yet. It's still within the realm of diplomacy. It's still within the realm of posturing, power projection, things like that. We're not really getting into the military operation, operational planning phases yet, which is probably a good thing. And speaking of operational planning, uh strategic movement for this week has largely been relatively benign. The Truman Carrier Strike Group uh returned to Norfolk this morning. I saw they pulled into to port earlier uh today a few hours ago. The Carl Vincent remains in the Middle Eastern theater. That's going to be our carrier for there for a while. But now, if you guys will note, we're down to just one aircraft carrier in the Middle East again, which is a good sign. Generally speaking, for those of you who, you know, don't follow this kind of thing. Whenever the United States puts two aircraft carriers in Sentcom in the Middle East somewhere, that tends to suggest that we're either going to war or tensions are pretty high. It's hard to determine which. Maybe there's a intentionality behind that. But still, for the past few weeks, there have been a couple of aircraft carriers in Sentcom's AO conducting operations in Yemen. And now that the Truman's rather unfortunate uh deployment has come to an end, the Carl Vincson remains uh the only flat top in the Middle East theater for now at least. Similar story out in the Pacific. The Nimttz is conducting her final deployment to the Pacific theater. Really just kind of doing the status quo. So we're we're kind of back to a baseline of uh American aircraft carrier strategic movement around the globe, which is a good thing. So it just means that there's not really an increase in tensions to the point to where we feel like a a second aircraft carrier is needed somewhere. Moving to the kinetic activity tracker, there have been a lot of developments, but mostly on the border crisis tracking map. So you can see uh I've got a few riots in Seattle this week. Of course, it's it's Seattle, so that's kind of thing is going to happen. But mostly what I've been focusing on this week have been the events down in Mexico which I'm generally putting on the border crisis map. So it's a different different data set. So there have been two high-profile in incidents this week. Both of which involve the finding of human remains or mass graves. The more high-profile one that's gotten a lot of uh locals upset occurred in the town of Reosa, a border town right on the Texas border there. A local uh band was found murdered. all four members of the band plus their photographer uh that were found in a body dump site just in in a vacant lot there in Reosa because these guys were fairly famous locally. This has sparked local outrage and you know so we're starting to see a little bit more political activism with this kind of thing. This happens occasionally. Again, it's not out of the ordinary, but but because of this focus on a lot of the the cartel problems down there, we're starting to see this a lot more in local media than we have in years past. So, I don't know if this is out of the norm. I don't think it is. I mean, it's fairly violent down there anyway, but there are a lot more of these stories coming to light from within Mexico, such as the finding of a mass grave down in the small town of Iratau, which is in the middle of absolute nowhere. There is nothing there. Uh, I mean, it's it's a fairly, I don't know, moderatesized uh town for central Mexico. But in any case, if you look at the Google Street View of where I was able to geollocate this this uh mass grave to be, it's kind of in the middle of a town. It's right on the edge of a soccer field, right? So, there are houses built up all around there. Normally, when you see a kill site from the cartel, it's going to be in the middle of nowhere. I mean, occasionally it happens in more builtup areas, but my guess is that this whole town is in on it or knows what's going on or full of people who are terrified, but they know exactly what is going on in that town. So, that's a tale as old as time down there. Again, it's not new. In Mexico, you go to the house next door and find 17 bodies one day. That tends to be how it works sometimes. So there are a lot of indicators to help uh identify and start working the cartel problem but I I can just say it's a very big task. There have been a lot of people who have spent 30 40 year careers and they have not put a dent in anything even in their local area. So it's a big problem set. It's bigger than terrorism. It's bigger than journalism. It's it's a very big investigative line of effort. So, uh, please forgive me if if this is going to take me a little while to start getting a better beat on because right now we're we're not even scratching the surface here with the events that are occurring in Mexico. So, we're definitely not seeing the whole picture. We're looking at looking at the issue through a soda straw. But, I do want to focus on some of these more horrific things. Sometimes it's not pleasant, but I think it's important for us to to be mindful of, especially considering how much the cartel's influence uh runs here in the United States. So, moving to the United States specifically, let's talk about the Northeast region for a bit. Moving around the whole country, the general story is that the summertime fund is here once again. A lot of this doesn't really have a whole lot of intel value, but I'll go ahead and skim through it anyway. So, Pennsylvania, there was a mass shooting. It was probably more of a cultural or gang related thing because it involved this large-scale Memorial Day event in the park 10:30 at night. We all know how this goes. Anyway, multiple shooters. Two were killed, nine were wounded in a city park, Fairmont Park in Philadelphia. Not particularly surprising. Locals probably don't bat an eye at this kind of thing, but something to be mindful of being in a city park at night uh in any city of moderate size in the United States. That's a that's a risk these days. Moving over to the southwestern region this week, rather interesting cases of vandalism at various Islamic related sites. So there were two Islamic cultural centers that were vandalized with graffiti and a third site which was a mosque which is uh to the south of of these two sites. I found this to be kind of interesting so I thought I would mention it. Uh but yeah, vandal vandalisms are definitely going to happen a lot more often this summer. This is a very easy assessment to make. Anybody can guess that. But what I thought was quite interesting is when I was putting these uh incidents on the kinetic activity tracker, it looks like we're starting to build a little bit of a pattern here because both of these sites were located pretty close to each other, which is interesting. It kind of makes sense if somebody's foot mobile walking around with a can of spray paint, they're probably going to tag up any site that they can easily walk to. But more interestingly than that, you can see that this is right around the corner or just down the street from a Tesla dealership in which uh which was targeted with an incendiary device. So, we're starting to see, okay, well, now in this small geographic area, we've now got three vandalism incidents. So, again, it's very simple. I'm missing probably a dozen more vandalism incidents that have occurred in this specific area, but I think that now now that this data set is being built and I'm handpicking a lot of these and putting them on the map that it's not just a general crime tracker, we can start to see some of the some how some of these things are uh in the same area as other things. Of course, this doesn't mean that the same guy did all three, but it doesn't mean there's a link at all. I just find it to be kind of interesting that I'm starting to go through the map now and uh put icons on the map and say, "Oh, wait a minute. I already already got something in this area." Which is interesting. So, this is also very interesting to note when we get out to uh out west. So, for instance, in Seattle, the events this week, it's just been one continuous riot basically for the past week or so. Again, this is Seattle. This is the heartland of this kind of thing. It's not really surprising. A lot of the time it's not even worth tracking. Anyway, this week has been a lot more contentious based on the Christian rallies uh that have been held, protest events, prayer vigils, concerts, whatever. There have been a lot of things that have occurred this week. But anyway, Seattle is going to be working through a state of unrest for a while. I would very much urge caution for any of you out there doing research on the mainstream media with this because they're making it out to look like like these Christian groups are the ones who are, you know, beating people and that's that's not true at all. I have not seen media bias as sharp as this uh in a while, honestly, since uh the the Biden presidency. So, I find that to be kind of interesting. Uh it doesn't surprise me, but it's kind of interesting. Right now, for for those of you who are outside of Seattle, it's not really as as bad as 2020, but it could be. Right now, most far-left groups don't really have a lot of the punch that they used to have. a lot of their funding has dried up and a lot of their manpower has not they're they're just not around anymore or they're doing other things. So yeah, Antifa in Seattle doesn't have the mobility that they used to have. Uh they're they're starting to be able to latch on to things and this, you know, provided a convenient target for them. So of course they're going to be able to latch on to that sort of thing. Same thing in places like Cincinnati, Washington DC, New York City. you know, big places like this are uh are definitely anytime a a target is provided, regardless of funding, a lot of these far-left groups or groups that are have very questionable politics, they will seek to cause harm simply because they can. So, that's pretty much all I have for the United States. Uh before we close out today, I want to show you an image from Diego Garcia. That's right, everyone's favorite island that nobody cares about in the middle of the of the Indian Ocean. It's fairly busy. As you can see, we've got a lot of airframes stacked up there at Diego Garcia. This is actually from May 27th. Uh the latest commercial imagery is only partial. So, I don't have a really good uh paid commercial image to be able to identify these, but you can very clearly see that that F-15 squadron that that showed up to Diego Garcia is still there. And the B-52s are still there. So, so yeah, very very busy out there in the middle of the Indian Ocean and uh who knows what we're up to. So, that's pretty much all I have for today. Let's roll through the Ghost Net reports for this week. Again, it has been very very good for propagation lately, which is fantastic. I haven't had much time to get on the air this week, unfortunately, uh due to thunderstorms. So, it's always good to get out and test and make sure you're you're uh you're not just a fair weather radio operator guy, but there's also that fine line between you don't want to, you know, get yourself hurt or struck by lightning out there. they're uh trying to operate in in adverse conditions. But but I was able to make the the calm window this week. And we got some good news coming out of Texas. Uh one one person says that the measles outbreak in Texas is subsiding, which is great. Uh so that's uh good to see. Also, somebody pointed out that there's the new CO variant. I guess we're going to have to see what that's all about. And also somebody who just wanted to see their own transmission on an Intel update. So I thought I would oblige and uh show you that I did hear you. coming in hot from Eastern Pennsylvania. Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for November 16th through the 22nd, 2025. Crazy week like usual, but this time it's going to be a little bit shorter because a lot of the things that have happened this week have already covered in the wire reports throughout the week. So no need to rehash a lot of these things, but some things we can expand a little bit on and maybe get a little bit more clarity on what's going on with some of these events as we start getting into the holiday season. Getting right to it with the global strategic concerns this week. The main focus has been ICE operations or rather the significant resistance to ICE operations around the country. This is again a trend that has been going on for several months now. However, things are starting to get a little bit more heated as ICE operations continue to spread around the United States. Also, in the United States, all eyes are on the Somalian situation in Minneapolis this week, which have brought about a lot of details and situations and scandals that have been very much open secrets in the city for a very long time. But now many Americans are just now figuring out the scale at which a lot of the fraud is being committed in Minneapolis. So we'll get into that in a bit. Down south in the Caribbean, the situation really remains unchanged from last week. No big major updates there and no real uh indication as to whether or not the US is going to be conducting any kind of operation there or not. The White House seems to be kind of interested in doing some sort of diplomatic effort, but that could all be a smoke screen to move into the final stages of whatever military campaign they have planned there. Again, it's all speculation and not really that useful to keep harping on. So, we'll just play it by ear and see how it works out down there. Similar situation over in Eastern Europe. The peace talks continue between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia. The United States and Russia have been working out the details of various types of peace agreements over the past few days and months, but the general public has only really been granted just a few snippets here and there. So, there's really no conclusion that can be made either way. But the talks do continue and we're in kind of one of these cycles again where both sides seem to be kind of interested in finding some sort of common ground which is good. We have had this happen dozens of times before. So it doesn't really pay to get one's hopes up because in two weeks from now both sides may have a spat again and then they veer away from any kind of peace talks. But for now the situation is positive once again which is something that's probably a good thing. That's the situation globally for strategic movement. Again nothing significant to report on this front. Everything is basically where it was before. The Gerald Ford is still in the Caribbean Sea and is in the theater of operations of Southcom. So all players are on deck for if the United States wanted to do something in Venezuela, but time will tell. Moving to kinetic events for the United States this week. It has been quite busy, unfortunately. I am once again in the perpetual battle of trying to keep my maps updated with all of the events that are a little bit more significant than the average street crime. But throughout the United States, violent crimes continue as before. A lot of the very brutal events this week have come from public transit. As one might expect, the two high-profile attacks that I've focused on this week are the immolation attack that occurred on the Blue Line train in Chicago and also the subway stabbings where random people have just been stabbed in the face in New York City on the subway system there. So in the United States, it's become quite clear over the past few years that from a riskmanagement perspective, public transit are death traps. So not everybody can avoid public transit. Some people have to use it uh for their job or just to get around because they don't have a vehicle or something like that. But never relax, that's for sure. Especially as we start getting into the big travel seasons where people are going to be moving around a lot, there's a lot more incentive to commit random acts of violence and just general street crimes, muggings, and things like that. So, something to be aware of as we move forward into the winter months. On the other side of the coin, this week, a lot of the violence has largely centered around immigration issues, mostly when it comes to uh ICE raids in a particular area. Continuing the trench from last week, Charlotte has experienced again more unrest, mostly up and down Central Avenue, which is hosted to a lot of very open and very brazen uh immigration problems. The past few days, the Charlotte Observer and a lot of the Charlotte based media have really just been focusing on publishing tearyeyed interviews of some illegal immigrant business owner who's so upset that they had to close down their business while ICE is in their area. Just kind of completely glossing over the fact that illegal immigrants are in fact criminals. That's just a fact of the matter, right? Everyone who is an illegal immigrant in this country made a conscious decision to break the law. So, you know, that's kind of the way that it is, but we all know how it goes. Charlotte is a absolute dystopian hell hole. So, you tend to get things like this uh very large community watch efforts, very big and very wellunded groups that are uh doing everything they can to openly say, you know, we encourage people to commit felonies. We're literally an occupying force. One of the main agencies, the SMRA organization in North Carolina that has been kind of active for a lot of these immigration issues. They openly say on their website like we're trying to dominate. We're trying to take over. We are trying to eradicate everyone who is not us. Right? That's exactly what they say on their own website. So, you know, you got to you got to take these things at face value. Sometimes if someone tells me that, I'm inclined to believe them. So, that kind of unrest has been more or less a commonality there. It's not really been that effective. uh the resistance to ICE nationwide hasn't really stopped any ICE raids at all. I mean, that's just kind of the way that it is, but it's only a matter of time before ICE are starting are going to have to start making decisions on where to go based on the resistance they're going to see. Especially considering we now have more routine everyday garden variety terrorism plots that just kind of come and go and nobody ever really does anything. Such as the case in Virginia this week, in which case a pair of brothers, one of which is still currently employed as an assistant principal at a high school in Virginia. Both of them planned to travel to Las Vegas to conduct shootings against ICE. They're treating it like it's some sort of sporting event, right? They're trying to hunt ICE agents for sport. Uh, that's the kind of way these people think nowadays. As disturbing as that is, they just talk about it like they're discussing the weather, which is exactly how they got caught. So, like I wrote in the wire, the way that these guys got rolled up was probably the dumbest possible way ever. The story that has been told by the authorities at least is that an offduty cop was uh eating dinner next to these guys at the next table over from them at a restaurant in Virginia Beach and he overheard them talking uh about their planned killing spree of ICE agents just kind of out in the open during dinner. you know, one thing led to another, investigation continued on, and they kind of confessed to it, right? So, for those who think, well, that sounds a little sketchy. Maybe the cops lying, you know, that's a very that's a very good possibility. I'm sure it'll come out in court. I'm sure that a very close examination of their digital devices will show that they had planned to commit these sorts of crimes because at least one of them had already purchased a plane ticket. They both had purchased firearms and selected rounds that they thought were best for penetrating body armor. I mean, they're kind of stupid, but you know, still quite serious. So, there's all that. But this is one of those things to just kind of be aware of. And to be honest, none of this is really that surprising. I lived in Virginia Beach for about a year or so, several years ago. Uh, and I can tell you that if you were to sit down and, you know, eat a meal at any restaurant in Virginia Beach, the chances of you hearing someone planning a and plotting a violent crime, especially from a more liberal perspective, is extremely high. Okay? So, it's not that hard to imagine. It's like going to an Antifa cafe, you know, in Portland or Seattle and overhearing somebody, you know, wanting to take a shot at Charlie Kirk. You're going to go to these, you know, strongholds of this kind of ideology and well, yeah, that's exactly what you're going to see. So, least surprising uh method of being caught ever, but it just kind of goes to show the grand scale at which this resistance to ICE efforts have have kind of carried on. And like I mentioned, and I've mentioned this several times, ICE is not going after people just for being illegal. This is probably a PR thing so that anytime some kind of, you know, mainstream media source or some kind of politician starts screeching about, oh, police brutality. Oh, you're being violent with this person. H, you know, and and they start yammering about that. The people running the ICE social media accounts can come back and say, "Oh, well, you know, sorry to hear that, but here's the guy we were arresting, and here's what he's charged with." And it's always something so horrific that you can't even you can't even say it in polite company. That's the kind of thing they're going after. So, something to keep in mind. people are going to be insane. It's just one of those things. But as we get into more of the holiday season, you're going to start to see probably more of this because well, more and more people are getting funding together, more and more agencies are starting to get better organized and things like that. So, as time goes on, resistance will increase. It won't decrease, it will increase, and they'll get a lot better at trying to protect violent criminals in various cities around the US. So, that's it for the nationwide kind of overview this week. Let's move down into the regions for a closer look at some issues this week. And technically, this first one is actually a nationwide issue still. There were a couple of cloud flare outages this week. There was a major outage on November 18th and a smaller outage again on November 20th that I'm not sure how how many people it affected, but the November 18th outage was the largest one. And I have seen some very uh speculative and unconfirmed numbers that it took down 20 to 25% of the entire internet. And the reason that it happened was very interesting. Cloudflare initially stated that they thought that it was a cyber attack and it still may be. It's one of those things that you're probably never going to get the truth on, but they initially thought it was a cyber attack, but then they revealed that it was actually a single file that quote suddenly doubled in size. Now, how that exactly happened, it's not clear at the moment. I'm sure we'll find out something later on, but that's the story they're going with. One single file was changed and it took down 20% of the internet. So for the non- tech nerds out there, yes indeed, our public internet infrastructure is being held together by uh some duct tape and string. And yes, changing a single file will in fact break a good chunk of the internet. So once again, this may end up being the result of malign action. It could be the result of incompetence. My guess is you're probably not going to find out either way. If it was malign action, you're probably not going to find out. They're not going to tell you the truth because, well, they don't want to look bad. the they don't want to give the hackers or the malign actors any kind of credence right so they're just going to kind of conceal that a little bit but also if it was incompetence right from their data centers in Mumbai or something you know they're not going to want to talk about that for various reasons but nobody wants to look bad nobody wants to talk about how vulnerable their systems are even though Cloudflare is a major company they're still not going to want to be honest with their their stakeholders so something to be aware of look you know the internet is breaking on a weekly basis at this point. So, having alternative communications plans is becoming a little bit more little bit more important with each passing day. But that's it for the tech stuff this week. Moving to North Carolina for a moment. Like I said, the resistance to ICE operations in Charlotte is pretty high. But the ICE operation in Charlotte is actually not that large. They've only arrested a couple hundred people, which is just peanuts compared to the number of people they could be arresting. Right. Meckllinburgg PD is of course not doing anything. They've been given the order to stand down. So ICE agents have they don't have local police protection because the cops want harm to come to them uh in their city. So same story as always, same story all the the places where these ICE agents are going, that's just the way that it is. So risks are pretty high. And one of the more dangerous things with these ICE raids to consider for the average person, right? Even if you're not really concerned about some of the more highlevel nationwide issues, these ice raids are doing a couple of things. And in Charlotte, they've done one thing in particular, which is to show the actual organic population of Charlotte, just how many people are in their city that are not from here. They're not citizens. And they have created a lot of infrastructure. Central Avenue is kind of the main drag in Charlotte, or at least a good part of it. And there's a lot of restaurants. There are a lot of businesses. There are a lot of uh entities. And it turns out all of them have kind of shut down due to immigrants being there, right? People are now doing exactly the same thing that is in every other city. They find that ice is in town. Guess what? Traffic goes down. Suddenly you don't have gridlock. You don't have rush hour. You try to go shopping. Suddenly the grocery stores are empty. You know, and it's like you try to think there's no way there's no way there are this many people here. But the daily life for people has proven this. You know, people just living their daily life. They suddenly realize, wait a minute, this is how many people were illegal in my area. So yeah, Charlotte has kind of proven that. Same thing with all the other states because Charlotte is not one of those cities that you tend to think of when you think of a huge illegal immigrant presence, but it's it's true. I mean, it really is. Every major city in the US is like that. Doesn't matter how big or how small, there are a lot of illegal immigrants in the United States. Turns out that it's probably a lot more than what people think. So, that's something to keep in mind. Also in North Carolina last night, I wanted to mention it uh today because it just happened. There was a mass shooting at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Concord, which ironically is just outside Charlotte. It's like a little suburb of Charlotte. Right up front, this appears to be kind of a gang thing because they released the names of at least two of the suspects. The first suspect goes by the name Nasir Ahmad Bostik, and the second suspect is Kievon Rashad Bostic. So, they sound like their relatives, same surname, right? The third suspect was unnamed, but the local PD basically says this was a case of mutual combat. Two groups started shooting at each other, so maybe a gang thing, maybe a tribal thing. Hard to say. Concord is kind of a small town on the edge of a big town. So, it tends to be more of a sort of quaint, highincome area, but these kinds of violent attacks are starting to occur and injure bystanders even in some of the more uh affluent areas around the country. So, not a new thing by any means, but it's going to continue as we start getting into the crowded season. So, but that's it for North Carolina. Let's move over to the meat of the matter this week, which is the Midwest, the great state of Minnesota and the happenings in Minneapolis. So, for those who live in Minneapolis, quite literally, this is the least surprising bit of news they have seen all year. But the Somali, turns out, are a little bit of a problem in Minneapolis. And this week, there have been two levels of widespread and institutional corruption involving potentially billions of US tax dollars, all centered around the Somalian community in Minneapolis. So, the first scandal was the feeding our future scandal, which occurred some time ago, but now more and more people are being indicted. This was widespread fraud uh from all levels involving a sort of soup kitchen, food bank, food pantry kind of uh arrangement. But it turns out it was all just fraud. Uh, so we'll get into exactly the media matter, how it worked out, but this is the earlier scandal. So just for clarification, the feeding our future scandal that is occurring in Minneapolis right now is older. It occurred some time ago. It's just more and more people because there's more spotlight on it now. More and more people are being indicted. I think they're up to 76 people in indicted right now so far for this uh hundreds of millions of dollars worth of fraud in Minneapolis. But it occurred some time ago. So that is the stage being set for the next scandal which has come to light over the past few weeks really which is the autism services department. So I put together this graphic to help us kind of understand exactly how this this scam works because it's not particularly brilliant. It's a pretty low IQ effort to be honest, but it makes up for that in its brazeness and the fact that it worked uh for such a long period of time and continues to work to this day. So this particular scandal, the one that we're focused on right now, the Autism Services Department scandal, involves Somalians having children and then of course registering them, you know, with social security numbers. And one of the things that they also do in terms of just like a matter of recourse for just having a kid, you know, is to get them diagnosed with autism. So they will go to specific Somalian doctors, which are known throughout the Somali community for just pencil whipping autism diagnosis. You walk in, get the paperwork, walk out. That's the way that this diagnosis system works. Once that kid gets diagnosed with autism, the parents can then enroll that kid in various social programs. They can sign up for a whole plethora of welfare products and things like that due to their kid having autism, right? So, we're talking things like medical care, daycare, special education programs, all this kind of thing, right? In some cases, cash payments, in some cases, extra financial resources. There's a lot, right? There's a reason why it's so hard to understand the the welfare state in the United States because it's intentionally complicated. It's not just one program. It's not just one check. In many cities, specifically at the city level, there are a lot of programs where you just walk up and get something, right? And it's hard to say exactly how much is being used. So, they take advantage of that. Turns out a lot of these clinics, a lot of these daycarees, a lot of these special education programs, a lot of these social programs that are designed for children with autism didn't actually exist, right? They were fraudulently saying that these kids were enrolled, the kids either uh did not exist or the program did not exist. And you might be thinking, well, how on the same hill can they get away with this fraud for so long? Because surely surely there are auditing programs at each level, right? And you're absolutely correct. there are audits of government programs, especially when it comes to things like, you know, welfare stuff. However, it turns out that a lot of the people conducting the welfare uh audits were Somalian, okay, and in on it, right? So, that's kind of how it works. You find out that, okay, this like learning academy ABC or whatever is located on the corner of this street and that street and then, you know, the auditor drives by and finds out that's actually a liquor store. Like, there's nothing here. There's no daycare here. There's no clinic here. But on paper, it's there. And in the Senate and in the House, in Minnesota, they're allocating funding for it. And the place doesn't actually exist or like it's an empty lot. Like the there's like a mailing address, but it doesn't go to anywhere. That's the level of fraud that was happening. It started as more lower level stuff like people getting fake diagnoses for their kids and then enrolling them in programs they didn't need and then that money was getting uh kicked back to various levels of the community, right? But now it's expanded to just be straight up blanket fraud, right? It's sort of like the PPP scandal from the COVID era, if you want to think of it in those terms. And kind of like how you can go to that website and search for the names of the businesses that got small business loans. And the and the business name, like the no kidding business name is something like give me a Hellcat LLC or something like that. And it's like, oh my gosh, this fraud is just so blatant and so open. So that's kind of the general overview of how this works. is just straight up fraud. And it's really, really bad fraud, too. Like, it's just not very well concealed at all because it doesn't need to be because everyone involved from the community leaders to the politicians to even the governor, right? Nobody can touch this issue because if they point out Somali crime, they lose a Somali vote. And if they lose a Somali vote, they lose the state's vote. That's just the way that it is. One of the reasons why immigration is such a bigger concern on an economic front is due to two words: remittance payments. So one of the things that happens is everybody along this this process gets a cut. The doctor gets a cut. The parents get a cut. All these social workers get a cut. The social programs get a cut from all this money that just appeared in bank accounts, right? They're linking their actual personal bank accounts to like, you know, federal and state aid, right? So it's not like they're trying to hide, right? But one of the things they do is they immediately send that money back home to Somalia. And here is where the nationwide importance comes in. It's a lot. The numbers are saying that it's possibly $1.7 billion. Somalia is technically a failed state, so they're not a nation state. But you can think about it like this. The Somalian population in one American city, Minneapolis, is sending more money back to that country than is earned in that country alone. So that's kind of a big deal, right? And one of the reasons that people have kind of focused on this is because of what's going on in Somalia. Somalia again is not a nation state. They are a failed state. And it turns out warlords kind of run the country. So how are they getting this money back to Somalia? Because it's not like you can just deposit money into a bank account and it just appear there. I mean I guess that you could do that but what are they doing mostly? Hala. They're doing the Hala network. I have a whole video on the Hala network system if you want to check that out from a while ago. But the short version is that it's a complicated way of sending money from one place to another without governments knowing and without taxes being taken out. The exception of course is that there are hala brokerage fees. So think of it like Western Union but for the Muslim population of the world. It's not exclusively an Islamic thing but it did kind of uh gain a lot of popularity there which is why you mostly see it in uh Muslim countries. So interesting way of sending money. It's not bad in and of itself except for when it's used for criminal endeavors, right? And one of the criminal endeavors is the fact that a lot of the hala brokers, as in almost all of the hala brokers in Somalia, are actually members of al-Shabaab. Al-Shabaab is a very infamous terror group throughout Somalia and Northern Africa at large. They're very famous for being extremely brutal and very warlordike. They have their origins in al-Qaeda, as with most insurgent groups throughout the Middle East and Northern Africa. However, they're more akin to ISIS. A lot of the times you'll see them using ISIS flags. They're also kind of similar to AQAP or al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. It's one of those things. They're kind of their own thing. So to say that they're like another terror group is probably disingenuous because they're really their their own sort of thing. But yeah, they do have their origins in a few different contradictory groups, right? Like ISIS and al-Qaeda don't really work that well together, but this group kind of has their foot in either one of those groups. But anyway, I digress. the United States, specifically the taxpayers of Minneapolis, the taxpayers of Minnesota, paying these guys the bulk of their salary because they're allowing the Somalians in Minneapolis to send money back to Somalia through halala brokers which end up in the hands of al-Shabaab. Well, that's just not a great look, now is it? Remember TIA, this is Africa, right? So, they don't need a whole lot to be very effective, right? So to us, $1.7 billion, I mean, that's still a lot of money in American terms, but $1.7 billion being sent back to Somalia, that is a substantial fighting force. In terms of insurgent groups, you can do a lot with $1.7 billion in Somalia. You can definitely do a lot with that. So, of course, how much of that money is exact is is going straight to Al-Shabaab. How much of a fee they're taking, it's going to vary. You literally can never know. It's all done via handshake and cash. All 1.7 billion is probably not going into the hands of Ashbab. It's probably buying a whole lot of flat screen TVs in Moadishu. But but in terms of how many AK-47s and mortar rounds is buying, I don't know. Either way, it's not a good look. And this is why President Trump as of this morning before I started recording this, I saw that the White House has ended the temporary protected status TPS status for the Somali in Minneapolis is now terminated. So that's a very very strong development. It probably hints to the growing concerns that have been, you know, slowly mounting over time, but yeah, we'll see how it all works out. But a very fascinating look at at how some of this fraud is occurring on a gargantuan scale. And rest assured, ladies and gentlemen, Minneapolis is not the only place this is occurring. I would bet my last dollar that the same exact thing is happening with other terror groups, with other communities that are popped up around the United States as well. So, it'll be kind of fun to see how that works out over the next few days and weeks as people realize that uh it's not just the Somalians doing this. It's other groups, too. So, we shall see. Whereas Saturdays are for more of the longhaul thing because you have to for many of us who don't have these big gigantic, you know, permanently set up arrays, you've got to change your antenna around. Uh if you want to talk locally, you've got to have your antenna arranged one way, whereas if you want to try to get a long haul shot, you may have to change your antenna around. But that's that's the reason for that. So, radio stuff complicated. I know. Uh it'll get easier with time, but just wanted to remind everybody that yeah, there are multiple times throughout the week that you can uh meet up. It's not just Thursday nights. Uh even though the Thursday night one is definitely where most people tend to show up. So, dozens of people tune in every week. It's always good to to see that, especially with all the Cloudflare outages, right? It makes it easier for us to uh have a little bit more off-grid and resilient way of communicating just in case the war should happen and we lose all comms, right? So, that's what this is all about.
