2. Authorship
The lead agent for this publication is the United States Joint Forces Command. The
Joint Staff doctrine sponsor for this publication is the Director for Operational Plans and
Joint Force Development (J-7).
3. Supersession
This publication supersedes JP 3-0, 17 September 2006, Doctrine for Joint
Operations, incorporating Change 2, 22 March 2010.
4. Change Recommendations
a. Recommendations for urgent changes to this publication should be submitted:

Routine changes should be submitted electronically to the Deputy Director, Joint and
Coalition Warfighting, Joint and Coalition Warfighting Center, Joint Doctrine Support
Division and info the lead agent and the Director for Joint Force Development, J-

b. When a Joint Staff directorate submits a proposal to the CJCS that would change
source document information reflected in this publication, that directorate will include a
proposed change to this publication as an enclosure to its proposal. The Services and
other organizations are requested to notify the Joint Staff J-7 when changes to source
documents reflected in this publication are initiated.
