Intel Update - March 29 - Strategic Movement

Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for March 23rd through the 29th, 2025. As the title indicates, today I'm going to spend most of the time talking about some issues around the globe that are going to be of strategic concern, indications and warnings of impending conflicts and so on. So let's start off with the slide that I hope will not get very much use, which is essentially a World War II tracker. Staying at the very wave top level, let's briefly touch on some of the issues that have come to light over the past week. First of all, in North America, the trade disputes have continued between the United States, Canada, and Mexico, largely without very much notice. There have been some developments over the past week or so, just tit for tat things back and forth between the United States and Canada. A lot of rhetoric, a lot of shouting back and forth, but nothing really uh to sink our teeth into with regards to how this might affect the economy. Once again, we know that the economic situation globally is really just kind of in shambles at the moment and kind of hanging by a thread in many regards. So, it's hard to tell if a diplomatic spat between the United States and Canada or between the US and Mexico is is actually resulting or translating into higher prices at the grocery store. There are just too many things going on with the economy that could be contributing to high prices or low prices or low availability or logistics issues. It's just too hard to to nail down to one specific data point. This week, the White House has also increased the rhetoric with regards to Greenland, making it very, very likely that the United States will obtain Greenland in some form or fashion. Of course, many Greenlanders are quite upset about this uh because they may end up paying higher taxes than they already do and other reasons as well. Greenland is a very complicated diplomatic zone. It's not really an independent nation. Technically, it's legally counted as a county in Denmark and it is uh treated as such. However, the Kingdom of Denmark has really given a lot of autonomy to Greenland, but not autonomy with regards to things like diplomatic relations. So, for instance, the Greenlanders can't get together and make a treaty with another nation. That's going to be kind of like an international thing. So, really, Greenland has just kind of been left to their own devices. However, some of the rhetoric from Danish politicians has really taken a very interesting turn uh in that a lot of Danish politicians have brought up the the essential fact that the United States more or less already does own Greenland. We have freedom of maneuver there. We can do whatever we want to in Greenland. They've already granted permission going way back to the 50s in the Cold War, right? So, just shooting from the hip, it seems like a lot of the Danish politicians are taking the perspective of so what I mean, you guys already own it. Like, what do you what more do you want? Clearly, the United States wants a little bit more formalization of of Greenland, either becoming a state or a protectorate or a territory in some way, probably to increase things like missile defense. I mean, we already do that. We already have a sub substantial Arctic presence in Greenland, but it seems like we're we're trying to formalize that a little bit more with regards to the diplomatic status of that. So, this will be interesting to see as time goes on. But again, in the context of a large superpower annexing a historic territory that they've had influence over for a long period of time. This is a little bit ironic in in the grand scheme of things as we can see uh moving forward. Moving over to the United Kingdom, our friends across the pond have had a a bit of a rough week uh with regards to both domestic and international issues. Domestically, the United Kingdom is facing a formalization of their two-tier legal system to allow minorities and other protected classes of citizen to have formally lighter sentences. So a judgment was was passed by or or a policy was passed by the sentencing council of the United Kingdom to formalize lighter sentences for certain protected classes of citizen mostly uh along racial demographics. So this has obviously been a very very hot button issue over the past few years really or even decades if you if you want to go back that far. But recently this has become a very palpably difficult topic for the United Kingdom over the past few weeks. So hopefully they will get things ironed out, but it's not looking good for the formalization of a two-tier justice system in the United Kingdom. Internationally, the United Kingdom is still pressing the uh deployment of British soldiers to Ukraine uh for some reason. This is a personal initiative of Kier Starmer, the prime minister. However, there are a lot of citizens who do support this idea. A lot obviously do not, but a lot still do. So online, it's kind of hard to determine how popular of an idea this is. I can't imagine it being very popular among citizens, especially considering how the war has gone so far and we are kind of at the 11th hour at this point with the war in Ukraine. But we shall see how it goes. Hopefully, this is not something that is going to actually come to fruition, but it may. I I don't actually know. Of course, most nations in NATO have sent troops to Ukraine in some form or fashion, either as quote unquote advisers or special forces or things like that. But in terms of deploying an actual conventional army in any force uh not in a training role but to fight that is a lot different of a story. So we will have to see how that works out but hopefully it's just rhetoric at the moment. Speaking of Ukraine uh situation in Ukraine has not gotten any better. It some may say it's gotten worse uh with regards to a diplomatic situation. However, like I pointed out in the wire, a lot of positions are becoming a little bit more clear. So many people can say that's probably a good thing for all the world leaders to involve to kind of you know cut the nicities and let's just get right to the meat of the matter. That seems to be where uh Vladimir Putin is at especially at the moment. So Putin has made it very clear that he wants regime change. He's not going to be making a deal with Ukraine in any form or fashion as long as Zalinsky has a future uh as Ukraine's leader. Of course for many people who are on the pro- Ukraine side of things, they're going to say, "Well, of course he's going to say that. Of course he wants Zinsky gone." However, Zalinski and Ukraine, as as shocking and challenging as it may be to hear for some, uh Ukraine does not really have a say in in their future at this point, this is most certainly a conflict between the United States and Russia. And negotiations are going to be conducted between the United States and Russia without very much input from Ukraine. So, it's really all up to whether the United States wants to keep Zalinsky on board uh and protect him for a bit of time or if they want to horse trade around a little bit and see what they can get from Russia because it really as as bad as it sounds, Ukraine really doesn't have a say in any of this. So, this is uh all on what the United States will see fit and I guess we'll have to see what the United States says because um Russia has made their position quite clear at the moment and uh we'll see how close we can get to some kind of deal over the next couple of weeks. Moving down to Africa, I wanted to touch on the conflict in the Congo. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, there's kind of a civil war going on there now. I think we can safely call it a civil war. And really, it's not going super well. So, uh, the leadership of the Congo, I'm not sure if you could call them democratically elected or not, but the leadership of the Congo, the formalized government of the Congo, has essentially just kind of cut all pretenses and invited the United States to come in and eliminate the M23 rebels. In exchange, the United States gets to keep all the minerals in the Congo or some sort of mineral deal. So, at least that's a little bit of a refreshing change of place. Purely a mercenary style uh conflict. I very strongly doubt the United States will take up the Congo on on that. Nobody really has the appetite to go into subsaharan Africa at this point, but I found it kind of interesting that warlords and democratically elected warlords are really just kind of openly vying for power at this moment and not really going with any pretenses for what they're trying to do. So at least that's kind of interesting. Moving over to the Middle East and the South China Sea, there are a significant amount of developments going on, which I will touch on in just a moment. But essentially, the United States is staging an awful lot of resources throughout various bases in the Middle East, most notably at the very infamous CIA black site at Diego Garcia and also at the more well-known base Aluded in Qatar. So, we'll get into that in a moment. And also in the Far East, the Chinese naval activity has been increasing with regards to Taiwan. They're conducting a lot of drills, a lot of flyovers, a lot of maritime exercises, things like that. So, something to keep an eye on. Not a whole lot of uh indicators for an imminent invasion of Taiwan, but China is most definitely uh interested in that for sure. And they are making moves uh to continually prepare for that as they have been doing for well over a decade now. So, that's really the global situation at the moment. Let's get into it a little bit more specifically and let's start by taking a look at a few data points that I have been updating throughout the week. The more astute of you may have noticed that I uh throughout the week have been updating the various Tesla vandalism or incident attack sites on the SIPOP map, the ArcGIS map project that I'm working on. I know it seems rather underwhelming. Uh however, these are the Tesla vandalism incidents that have occurred that I have been able to find and geollocate with pretty good accuracy. I think over the past couple of months, I didn't go back uh to 2024. This is really just this year, so January until essentially now. Most of these it's very hard to geollocate because when someone posts a video of their Tesla being keyed or set on fire or something, most of the time people do not uh actually post where it is. So I have to spend a few hours trying to geollocate where a lot of these attacks are taking place. So, so just as a reminder, generally speaking, when it comes to the world of, you know, open- source intelligence, really, it's it's going to be very very hard. It makes it makes it very hard when people post a video and say, "Look at this. This is outrageous." And then they don't tell me where it is. Uh it would be very very helpful if there was a street address or something because most of the time they're just posting like, "Oh, okay. Well, there was a Tesla that got keyed in Kansas City." And then I have to go and find where it took place. So, it's hard to find a lot of these sites, but uh I will continue updating this tracker. Really uh I I don't want to uh over focus on this too much because really this is more along the lines of a low inensity conflict kind of thing. However, this is a way for me to kind of demonstrate some of the uh tools that I have and more importantly build templates for myself for later. So, so please don't think that uh I think this is a a hugely World War II level concern for me. No, no, no. It's it's certainly not. Um it's it is a concern. Obviously, vandalism incidents are a specific kind of low-intensity conflict that I think will personally continue on in the future. But right now, this is really just an exercise for me to uh document some of these things because it's an easy data point to analyze and feed in uh to a create layers on my own and then push those to the web map. So, when it comes to the main battle tracking map, the main SIP cup map, uh I will keep the I will keep this data flowing and try to document this as best I can because as far as I know, there isn't one central repository for for all of this data, but you can download it as an Excel spreadsheet. I think I'll have to double check that from from the website, but oh, and also I forgot to mention, so when you click on each one of these pucks on the map, you can click each one of these icons and uh see a clickable link for the source. It may not work on your phone. I mean, it should work on phones, but it maybe a little bit easier on a desktop browser or something like that. So, this is just kind of again a reminder of some of the more data intense things that I'm working on. Again, I'm not really sure how helpful it is for everyone, but getting the the workflow down pat on my end is is a little bit more helpful for me. Uh, and I think it may it may bear fruit in due time. Same thing with the dashboard. Uh, when it comes to this specific data set, like, you know, Tesla attacks by day and type, I can actually graph that. So again, I'm I'm really not sure if this is helpful or useful for anybody. It's probably going to appeal to not that many people, but uh that's okay. But for the dashboard product that I have, as we can see, I can put charts in there uh and move things around and change things up. This may change by the time the video comes out, but as we can see, the very rudimentary uh primitive chart that I can bring into the map to analyze these data points. It makes it a little easier to see that attacks are increasing. these vandalism attacks and incidents are uh becoming a lot more frequent and a lot more each day when they do happen. So, but yeah, a little bit more helpful than just looking at a raw map. If we can actually take these data points and put them into a chart, this helps sort of build the story uh that we're trying to tell here. So, I have many many many more data layers uh that I'm working on right now that I have not published and pushed to the map yet. I hope to have a lot of that finished by this uh next week, but who knows? So you guys know um working with any kind of GIS system, it takes a very very long time to get anything done. But I will continue pushing on for those that uh find this stuff helpful. So moving over to Western Europe, I wanted to mention two incidents this week. Again, the terror attacks have continued. Unfortunately, it's already becoming a very hot year for that sort of thing. In Germany, there was a a sort of questionable event uh which is is it's not entirely certain if this was a terror attack or if this was more along the lines of just a a murder uh situation. The mainstream media is reporting that essentially a teenager was approaching a a vehicle checkpoint. Didn't have a license, was kind of joy riding around and he panicked and tried to turn around before he got to the checkpoint. Ended up ramming into a crowd of people. I'm not entirely certain if you would classify that as a traditional terrorism attack or if this was just a careless uh not really caring about anyone uh else around him kind of thing. Of course, in either situation, the driver took deliberate actions to harm people. However, it's the circumstances and context behind that are still up for debate. Of course, Germany uh really does try to take care of their criminals. So, it's really hard to find any sort of data on any criminal after any attack occurs. You're you're really lucky to get what you get. So, I don't expect to get any more details on this one, but I will definitely keep an eye out. Similar situation in the Netherlands where there was a mass stabbing. This was uh most certainly a more deliberate terror attack. There were five people stabbed in Dam Square in Amsterdam a couple of days ago. Once again, the Dutch really like to uh cover up the identity of the attacker, so we're probably not going to get a name or any status for a while. However, there are rumors circulating, and I want to stress these are rumors, but there are rumors circulating that the asalent was a Ukrainian refugee. We do have pictures of the guy. We have video of uh bystanders taking the guy down and detaining him at the scene. However, you I mean, you can't really tell uh from any of the stuff that that I've seen so far. But anyway, we'll have to see how this develops, but I don't really have high hopes for any kind of information to come out from this either. Now, moving over to the Indian Ocean, uh as many of you have kind of noted over the past week or so, there have been substantial strategic indications and warnings of a major impending military conflict. Now, I do not say that lightly by any means, but there have been up to nine B2 Spirit strategic bombers stationed at Diego Garcia. And as we can see from this exceptionally blurry and cloudy image, this is sentinel imagery from March 28th. So, we got really lucky and got a good uh well, not good, but a better than nothing Sentinel imagery. This is open source satellite imagery that can be downloaded by the general public. These are just screenshots from their website and we can actually manipulate the image on the website itself. So, uh, we can take a look at the false color. And if we take that screenshot and manipulate it just a little bit using very rudimentary tools, we can increase the contrast and increase the saturation. And we can see that there are possibly at least five for sure, but possibly six B2 Spirit bombers parked on the south parking apron at the uh, airfield on Diego Garcia. So, what does this mean? What's the bottom line here? Well, very generally speaking, uh, for deployments of bombers usually mean we're going to bomb something. And B2 spirits because they are stealth bombers. These are could also be B-21 raiders. It's hard to tell. You can't really determine the difference in this imagery. Uh, however, generally speaking, deploying these types of assets, stealth bombers instead of B-52s, stealth bombers being deployed to Diego Garcia is a major indicator, a very significant indication and warning of a war with a nearpeer asset. So, what does this mean? Well, really what I'm trying to say is if we narrow down the potential adversaries in this region that uh B2 spirits would be used for, what I'm trying to say is that we don't necessarily need stealth bombers to be dropping bombs in Yemen. We've been doing pretty good so far without uh any kind of stealth assets, but we probably would need stealth bombers to drop bombs in Iran. So, the bottom line is that this could very well be, again, indications and warnings. It's not proof, but this could very well be staging for an impending war with Iran. Once again, I do not see that lightly. I do not want to panic anyone too much, but I'm just giving you the straight dope here. And this is uh something we would see if we're going to go to war with Iran. A lot of people have mentioned maybe China as well. Uh I would disagree. Uh generally speaking, we would not be deploying assets to Diego Garcia specifically unless we're trying to target Iran because Iran the Iranian missiles and most of Iranian weapon systems are just conveniently out of range for Diego Garcia. And that's still a long flight. If we were going to go to war with China and we were trying to forward deploy assets for that, you guys can do the research uh to determine what we might do uh with regards to the three islands chain doctrine. This has been very well thought out over the past 40 50 years or so. And generally, if we were to see these bombers at Guam or somewhere in the Marshall Islands or even in the Philippines, I would say, yeah, okay, that's probably an indicator of something going on with China. But Diego Garcia for me means Iran. Now, thinking big picture here, just to cover all bases and, you know, make sure that we're all examining this from a higher level, you know, more even-handed perspective, this could very well be a continuation of essentially speak softly and carry a big stick doctrine. Though, in this case, it would be speak very loudly and carry a big stick as well. This could be posturing. It could be what we call in the business power projection. Move a lot of bombers around. Make sure the Russian and Chinese satellites get a real good look at them. make sure the Iranians are very well aware that we can, you know, strike their country with arguable levels of success, right? Could be that the single phone call can bring all these bombers home like nothing happened. Uh they don't have to stay there permanently. They are for deployed for a reason. They can all just tomorrow by the time this brief gets out, we could get a new satellite image and they're all gone. That's just the way aviation works. However, this is out of the norm. This is not something we normally do. And most notably, there has been absolutely zero communication about this from the White House and the Pentagon and no journalists have been asking about this at all. So, it kind of makes me a little bit more concerned that that nobody said, "Oh, there's a drill going on or an exercise." As far as I know, there isn't an exercise going on. I may be wrong about that. There may be an exercise, but this many assets is is a little bit uh interesting. So, again, indication of warning of war. I hate to be the bearer of bad news on that, but this is what we have so far. Now, just to add a little bit more credence to this idea, there have been an increase in uh fuelers strat tankers and general air-to-air refueler assets moving into Aluded air base. So, for anyone who spent some time at the deed, they know that Aluded air base is a very big uh regional hub for logistics, right? An aircraft landing at Alud is certainly not an indicator of very much, right? They have strata tankers stationed there normally as you can see in the the purple boxes. These are all of the assets that are on the ground right now as this as I'm recording this brief uh on the 29th of March. So, we can see that there are a lot of uh you know tankers uh refuelers that are stationed there normally. One thing to note, however, is that last night uh a flight of four KC46 Pegasus tankers took off from the United States and flew all the way to Aluded. So, there are four additional KC46s there, and that's a lot. That's a pretty big deployment of resources. Uh, and once again, just as a general strategic indication and warning, you don't typically need this many for a drill or an exercise. So, moving four tankers from the United States all the way over to the Middle East, where they already have plenty, uh, is again, it's an indication. I can't say for certain that this means things are about to kick off, but it's it's definitely um definitely an indicator. So, so I will definitely keep an eye out. Uh and uh I know a lot of aviation watchers are going to keep an eye out. Uh and I'm also going to keep an eye out for other indications that maybe point to there not really being much going on. For instance, another thing that you might want to keep an eye on are ship movements or have there been deployments of ma major navy assets. More carriers than usual departing uh port. And so far, nothing's out of the ordinary with regards to the Navy. So, clearly this is more along the lines of an Air Force kind of show going on right now. But yeah, it's not a good look. I hate to be the mirror of bad news again, but uh B2s don't move around that much. Uh they don't forward deploy. They're very expensive aircraft and they're very secret aircraft as well. So, we tend to not forward deploy them too much unless there's something serious going on. So, half a dozen B2s and a handful of refuelers making their way to the Middle East is uh not a really a good sign. But once again, hopefully this is just posturing. Hopefully, this is just a big exercise I didn't tell anybody about. Hopefully, this is nothing at all and next week we can all uh just kind of breathe a little bit easier. But right now, it's something to be certainly aware of for sure. Not like any of us can do anything about it, but it's definitely something to be aware of for sure. So, switching topics significantly, let's talk about the earthquake in Burma. For many of you who do not know, a very significant earthquake hit the nation of uh Myanmar or for those of us who like to go with the old ways, Burma along with Thailand. So, this was a very large earthquake. We can see that centered along a fault line here. You can just look at the map and see, yeah, that's a on a fault line there. So far, I've seen estimates that state that 17 million people are potentially in the affected area. Even though we're not hearing very much from Burma at the moment, we can see the devastation is quite significant. I don't know what's going to come of this. I don't know how many casualties there are going to be, but I right now the official count is something like 100, a little over 100 casualties, but we're seeing skyscrapers come down here or or being impacted in some way. So, I I just don't know uh how this is going to go, but I will uh continue doing research and updating in the wire throughout the next week as recovery efforts start to get going. One of the things that's going to be very challenging is communications. So, as many of you who have been following the war in Burma know, uh really the Myanmar government doesn't really exist. Uh the country is being run by a military juna or honta depending on how you wanted to pronounce it. So, it's being run by a military council and it's technically in a state of coup. There has been a civil war going on there or I guess an attempt at a revolutionary war going on there and internet access has been very unreliable. When it does exist, it's been censored. So, you know, they're blocking the internet access to a lot of these major cities in Burma. So, it's hard to determine what to do. In that context, I think that makes a rather unfortunate segue to the Ghostnet reports for this week. For those of you who don't know, I'm sorry I keep forgetting to mention what this is. And I'm sure a lot of you who have recently kind of uh tuned into these briefings, you probably don't know what this is. So, just a brief overview, the Ghostnet is an HF radio network that I've kind of established here. Really, it's just a communications plan. It's nothing that I've invented new. It's just a kind of a shared way of exchanging information using highfrequency radios or shortwave radios. Some of you have maybe seen some of my content on shortwave radio and and how if the internet goes out, if you know, we lose power. Shortwave radio is really the only way to communicate uh off-rid without using someone else's infrastructure over long distances. Again, shortwave or HF radio is a whole other animal from, you know, the classic Bow Fang or handheld walkie-talkie kind of thing. But, uh, this is the the best shot I think we've got for now. It's going to improve over time. I've got other elements coming in, but this is really just a shared last ditch kind of ad hoc plan that we've kind of thrown together over the past year or so. And I think it's quite helpful for exchanging a lot of information completely off-rid. So from my receiver here without using the internet at all, I can pick up reports such as this. So these are random people around the United States and some parts of Canada that have uh decided to uh share information. So, as we can see, there are a lot of uh reports on things like wildfires and uh people checking in to see how many stations they heard. It's a it's a whole thing. So, uh it's really complicated to kind of explain, but the general gist of it is that this is a very very important part of communicating in a grid down sort of situation where access to the internet might not be a guarantee. So, uh thank you all for participating. Those of you who transmit and share information, you will get out of the ghost net what you put into it. So, uh, for many of you who are listen only, that's perfectly fine. That's what it's kind of intended for. But really, the guys out there who are the allstars are the ones who are putting in the work to to get on the air and share information from their local area. So, this is your chance uh to to share as much information as you can and keep others around you informed in a very safe and secure and reliable manner. That's pretty much all I have for today. Thank you guys all for watching. Here are the sources as usual. There are a plethora of links in the description as always, so you can get access to all the maps, charts, and all that kind of stuff just by checking out the links below, especially things like my research notes, and my sources throughout the week. Those are primarily on my Obsidian page. So, once again, thank you guys all for watching. Thank you for your support. It's been a busy week, and it's going to be a busy summer. I can already tell many of you already could probably agree with me on that. So, hopefully we'll uh be able to do a lot of good work this summer. But for now, thank you for all of your support, and we will see you next time. And as always, fight in the shape.

Intel Update - April 5 - The Rubicon

Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for March 30th through April 5th, 2025. So let's get right to it. Starting off with our new slide again. It has been a very busy week for strategic movement around the world. On the home front, obviously the biggest concern this week has been largely economic in nature as the White House has released its reciprocal tariff plan, which we'll get to in a moment. The effects of this are largely still working out. Things are happening very, very quickly. So it's probably going to be a few more days before we see any real solid changes. Right now, things are just too fluid to to determine exactly how things are going to stand. Nevertheless, over in Eastern Europe, the war continues in Ukraine as before. Ukraine has very much fallen out of the news cycle as the economic impacts and things in the Middle East are heating up. But unfortunately, no developments on that for this week. Over in the Far East, the Chinese naval drills in the vicinity of Taiwan have concluded, largely without any big changes other than every time China does one of these drills, they learn something new. And this time around it it was really more of a focus on combined arms warfare and getting service branches to work with one another and improve communications and logistics and command and control things like this things that you would absolutely need to to be very sharp on if if you're going to invade a nation like Taiwan. So China has most certainly been practicing that and they have learned quite a bit. But most eyes around the world have been focused on the Middle East this week as what I'm hesitantly calling the surge has continued. Cargo flights from both Europe and from Southeast Asia have most certainly been flooding into the region, adding to the concerns that this whole force buildup in the Middle East might not actually be a bluff or any kind of power projection role primarily. But we'll get into that in just a moment. Speaking of strategic movements, I've created a a very rudimentary fleet tracker here just to add a little bit more context with regards to what is going on with regards to strategic movement. So the past week has been host to significant American naval activity on the west coast. The USS Nimttz carrier strike group has deployed on a standard rotation to the far east. The Carl Vincson CSG was the one that was stationed in the Pacific. However, Sentcom announced uh earlier a few a few days ago that they will be taking operational control of the Carl Vincent. So, there will be two aircraft carriers in Sentcom's AO until further notice essentially. So, right now in the Middle East supporting various operations in the Middle East are the Harry S. Truman carrier strike group and the Carl Vincson carrier strike group. The Vincent's probably going to make their way into the Indian Ocean right about now, right as this brief comes out. So having two aircraft carriers in the Middle East is not entirely an oh my gosh, we're going to war tomorrow kind of indicator, but it is something to be mindful of, except for the fact that there aren't two aircraft carriers in the Middle East. There are actually three. The French are also in theater. The Charles Zagal carrier strike group is wrapping up her deployment to the Middle East. It was a standard training deployment. Nothing out of the ordinary, but as of I think this morning, she was still spotted in Djibouti. So, uh, you know, she's still on station kind of in the region, and it's going to be interesting to see if we're expecting some kind of shenanigans to go down in the Middle East over the next couple of weeks. You may see her either kind of linger on station for a bit or shoot and scoot really quickly back up uh to her home waters to to rest and refit so that she could come back out again if needed. Once again, this is really the only carrier in NATO that's uh you know operationally like deployable at the moment as far as I know. So something to keep an eye on for sure. Also unconfirmed reporting this week. I I did want to mention it because even though we can't confirm it, this is one of those closed source things, but uh some closed source reporting that, you know, mainstream media journalists are getting directly from their contacts in the Pentagon states that at least one THAAD battery and at least two Patriot batteries have been deployed from Paycom to the Middle East. The THAAD battery looks like it probably came from South Korea because there were a lot of uh there was a a boost a noticeable increase in C17 and C5 traffic out of South Korea a few days ago which was a little bit odd and now we're kind of just putting two and two together. It's a very loose assessment but it makes sense that a a THAAD system would be deployed from South Korea to the Middle East. Same thing with the Euima. I've been keeping an eye on the USS Euima LHD7 which is once again not slated for deployment anytime soon. She just wrapped up a pretty big exercise uh in the Atlantic a few days ago or a couple weeks ago at least and she's going through various modernization processes right now. So right now she's been moving around a lot though. There are a lot of indications and warnings that she may be getting ready for a deployment and it's nothing scheduled as far as I know. So that'll be something to keep an eye on. unscheduled deployments of very large naval assets or non-standard deployments of naval assets or transferring one aircraft carrier from one AO to another that these are big indications for something going on. Of course, there are always counter arguments for that, but this is the real deal as it stands right now. Drilling down a little bit more specifically to the North American continent. I have continued to update what I'm I'm very loosely calling the domestic terrorism tracker. My goal for this is maybe a little bit hard to convey at the moment, but but generally speaking, this data set uh among others that I'm working on, this data set in particular is meant to track all of the things that are not necessarily just routine street crime, but a little bit a little bit more high-profile than that. It started off as tracking all the various domestic terrorism events, but as we all know, I I don't particularly like that word terrorism because, well, it can be used in a bunch of different ways and it's a very very loose definition. So, if anybody has any better idea for what I should call this, please let me know. But yeah, this is uh kind of the good baseline I'm laying down. And and the reason that I'm I'm trying to do this is so that we can look at charts like this. Uh again, this is very primitive. I've got much prettier ones in the works, but we can see that the latter half of the month of March experienced a burst of vandalism activity, but also other types of activities. You can start to see more colors come into the chart there at that point in time as well. we can start to see a diversification of these styles of more political politically motivated attacks. So again, I know it's super boring. It's not super helpful for most of you out there. I know a lot of you just want the just want the story, right? But these are the things that I'm working on kind of behind the scenes that will paint a more clear picture later. I promise it will make it will make sense later on. So switching gears back to the economic front, let's talk about the North American trade tariffs as they are being implemented by the White House. These are the charts produced by the White House. So, you're seeing the primary source material for which trade tariffs are going to go into effect with which nation. Again, it's a lot of data to take in, but really we only need to take a look at uh the first chart here. Even though we've got a total of eight charts, really the the first one is where most of the data is centered. So, now let me state right up front and I am most certainly not an economist. I really can't comment on a lot of these economic things with any accuracy. And as with anything in the world of economics, there is a lot of very vicious and vitriolic debate on a lot of this stuff. But let me just share with you two things that I'm kind of thinking about that might be helpful for you over the next week or so while we're still waiting to see how these things kind of shake out. First of all, the immediate impact is largely going to be with industries which can't easily and quickly bring manufacturing back home. So all of this aside, let's talk solutions for a moment. It's never a good idea to panic. Panic is never helpful. it's it's it doesn't really help us at all in any situation really. But being mindful of the impacts that could happen very very quickly uh in the world of logistics is very very helpful. Bottom line, if you need to buy something, know where that thing is made. Again, I don't have to tell you guys this. This is all just common sense kind of stuff. But considering that we are uh crossing the Rubicon or looking at the Rubicon in many ways these days, it's just important to recognize where we are at and take it from there, right? But anyway, we shall see, I suppose. So, let's move over to our favorite island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, Diego Garcia. As many of you noted this week, I updated some products regarding the V2 spirits that have been observed at Diego Garcia for deployed. This imagery is not open source imagery. Well, technically it is, uh, but it's not free. you got to pay for it. This is commercial satellite imagery from March 30th showing five B2s. And we got some imagery a little bit more recently from April 1st that shows all six. So, at the moment, we have confirmed that at least six B2 Spirit bombers are for deployed to Diego Garcia along with at least six KC 135 Strata tankers for refueling, obviously. Now, we can get way down into the weeds with this, but I did want to briefly mention because I forgot to mention last time, these uh pillshaped objects uh just to the north of the runway there, these are indeed hangers for B2 Spirit bombers. So, when it comes to numbers, theoretically, technically, there could be as many as 10. Four in the hangers and six out on the runway. Now, I personally do not think this is likely. I think that the six that we see are the six that are there. Why do I think this? Well, essentially because we were able to bean count. Uh this is something that kind of goes back to the world of intelligence and the Cold War and essentially looking at satellite images and counting the beans as they move around on the map. In this case, airframes. Many an imagery analyst has made their living off of bean counting for their career, tracking the Soviets and Russian ships in and out of port like the Hunt for October, things like that. So, we can do the same thing nowadays with things like strategic aircraft. So, I will state that it is technically possible for four more B2 Spirit bombers to have sneakily taken off from Whiteman Air Force Base and flown halfway around the world to land here and not be imaged by a satellite and very hush hush gone right into the hangers. I don't think that's very very likely. Uh because all six of these we were able to track and we were able to know how many were on the way because of the aviation traffic as they were able to uh they had to communicate with air traffic control transiting various airspace uh corridors and things like that. Like I mentioned last week, there are only 20 of these around the country. So we only have 20 B2 bombers in existence. But I failed to mention last week that not all of them are operational. And as of the congressional hearings on various military budget stuff from last year, the Pentagon states that their testimony is at least that 11 are operational. So this means that right here on this image, you are looking at over half of America's entire long range stealth bomber force. That's a pretty big deal. B2s do fly around the world. They are seen doing exercises. Uh they even targeted the Houthis a while back couple of months ago, as a matter of fact. So, they do get around, but four deploying six to one base, I mean, these that's pretty rare. I don't I don't know if I've ever seen that before. I don't think I've ever seen this many B2s in one place outside of Whiteitman Air Force Base. If it's a bluff, it's one that we've never made before. So, that's all I can say so far. But, but more generally speaking, if we just acknowledge the fact that there are these six bombers are here and we've deployed such a huge number of these bombers to this one base in the middle of nowhere. What are they for? Well, in short, probably this place. This is Iran's Natan's nuclear site. So, this is one of, I believe, two facilities, which are kind of like the main nuclear facilities for the uh Iranian development of nuclear weapons. The Iranians have a lot of nuclear sites sprinkled all around their country, but this is one of the main ones that would probably be used. And and let me explain why. So, if we add some overlays here, we can see this is you normal nuclear facility, right? We've got the standard stuff that you might expect, of course, processing facilities for all kinds of precursor materials. We've got underground enrichment halls and uh facilities for enriching uranium and the processing of various minerals and all kinds of administrative buildings and power plants and transportation facilities. All kinds of stuff. It's just a military base that conducts enrichment of uranium, right? No surprises here. Well, well, the real secret of why these B2s are probably at Diego or Seia lies a little bit to the south. So, if we shift our map just a little bit to the south, we can still see the main base at the top of the slide here. We can look down into the mountains a little ways. And this, my friends, is probably why these B2s are a dig a Garcia. It may look like a nondescript mountain to to you and me, but rest assured, there are a lot a lot a lot of underground facilities here. And as we can see by the hardened bunker entrances here at the bottom left, there is an entire labyrinth of underground storage facilities that may or may not already contain nuclear weapons. So either way, this is probably why the B2s are here. Because if we take a more datacentric approach, we can just do 5 minutes of research on the internet and find out that to target an underground facility that's potentially hundreds of feet underground, you would need exactly one type of munition, the GBU57, otherwise colloquially known as the bunker buster. Now, there are a few other munitions that work as as well with these types of things. However, this is the tool for the job. If you're trying to use the correct tool for the correct job, this is exactly the only tool you would probably use to take out these facilities. Again, there are other options, but if we're thinking like a general, this is what you would need. You would need a bunch of B2s carrying a bunch of GBU57s and dropping these bombs not on, of course, not on the entrances, but on where the main underground storage halls and facilities are located. So, this is the deck stacked, right? We have half of our bombers overseas at some Podunk Island in the middle of nowhere. And these bombers, the B2s that are at Diego Garcia, fun fact, they are the only bombers that are currently, at least publicly, currently certified to carry the GBU57. So, we've got the right tools for the job, the right platforms to carry those tools in the theater and stationed at a base which is within range of these facilities. So, this is why we're trying to unfold the mystery. Is this a bluff or is this something else? This is where the grand question comes in. Has the Rubicon been crossed? Because as far as I can tell right now, there are many different theories about what's going on in the Middle East. Not just with the B2s, though that is a fascinating aspect of it. The B2s, the carriers were moving around, moving THADs and and Patriots around. You know, we're we're starting to add up a lot of random facts and random details that are starting to paint a picture. And so far there are two main theories. So the first theory is that this is all power projection. The United States doesn't really intend to do this. But we want to make the Iranians think that we will. And because of that, the Pentagon and Sentcom is undergoing this very elaborate, very very elaborate demonstration of power, which still by the way falls into the aspect of military deception because uh demonstration is a type of military deception, right? It is it is an ambiguity decreasing operation. meaning that it's a it's an operation that is intended to make your adversary more certain of what your plan is. Right? So, if you're an Iranian general right now, it sure does look like the United States is getting ready to bomb your country, doesn't it? So, that's kind of theory one. Theory two is a lot more nefarious and it's a lot more black pilling, if you if you will. So, the the other theory is that this is not a a bullying move. This is not a move intended to force the Iranians to be scared, but this is actually a legitimate wartime preparation. This is what we would see uh if we're actually going to war with Iran and uh that's really it. It's not really I mean if they're scared about it, then that's you know a side benefit. But essentially the second theory is that the Rubicon has been crossed. And just as a side note for those of you who don't know what this this reference is to crossing the Rubicon, this is an analogy that goes back to the time of Julius Caesar back in uh 48 49 BC I believe in which Julius Caesar, right, was kind of puttering around with his army in the district of Gaul uh where he was governor at the time and and an actual river really more of a small stream than anything else separated his district from the administrative boundary of Rome. And at the time it was illegal. It was an act of war. it was a huge deal to cross over that river Rubicon uh with an army. And Julius Caesar knew this and as his army was crossing over this river, he knew that he that that once he crossed over to the other side that he would essentially be committing treason and he would be committed to his attack. So there was no turning back once you've crossed the Rubicon. You've kind of committed to your military advance. So today, in short, the term crossing the Rubicon is essentially synonymous with crossing a point of no return. Now, the second theory, like I mentioned, is that maybe the White House is standing in the Rubicon right now. Maybe they're not fully committed right now to a war with Iran. Or maybe they are. Who knows? I mean, if a decision had been made, if Trump had secretly and covertly made a decision weeks ago to go to war with Iran, and all we're doing is checking down the calendar, you wouldn't see anything different. So, that's kind of one of the big bits of evidence uh that's stacking up to say that maybe theory 2 has a lot of weight as well. Of course, we want to think it's just power projection. We want to think that it is indeed just a just a posturing move to get the Iranians to do what we want. Um now, again, the original question of why are we involved in any of this at all? Well, that's another story for another time. But seeing as we're here now, the American people are trying to figure out is their government trying to bluff Iran or is their government committing them committing the American people to another Giwat. And at the moment, I'm sorry I don't have a good answer for you. There are a lot of other sub theories that that maybe come about. Like for instance, there's a lot of credence to the theory that well maybe it's not for the Iranians. Maybe it's not for any of these complexes, underground bunkers where the Iranians are storing nuclear material. Maybe that's not what we're going for. Maybe it's the maybe it's the Houthis. I'm not going to say there isn't a lot of evidence to say, well, maybe we maybe we deployed half of our long-range bombers to, you know, take out the Houthies. I mean, it would definitely be using a cannon to kill a mosquito, but I don't know. It's a new era. It's a new Pentagon. Maybe they're maybe they think they can do it. I don't know. The Rubicon idea is definitely a central aspect and will be important to think about over the next few weeks as more and more evidence starts stacking up. It's all based on a balance. What do you think? Where is the reasonable doubt? Is there more evidence in pile A or is there more evidence in pile B? So, all in all, I know this is not particularly helpful, but uh generally speaking, this is kind of where we're at. There are going to be a lot more indications and warnings uh come about over the next few days, weeks, months, years. and uh trying to keep a a more neutral perspective and acknowledging the the very serious concerns when they do appear is is going to be critical because I think a lot of times we're tempted to stick our heads in the sand and say, "No, this isn't happening and no, it's just a big bluff." And that may not be the best uh perspective moving forward. If nothing else, that's why I'm kind of paying attention to this because, you know, I I I I'm not saying it's happening. Don't don't misunderstand me. I'm not saying that it's happening, but I see the potential for us to get dragged into another very bad conflict in the Middle East and I'm I'm a little bit concerned about that. So, that's why I buy these satellite images. That's why I keep an eye on this. And, you know, hopefully I'll look like a fool. You know, I would I would really be happy if I look like a complete idiot for spending so much time on this in a few weeks and all these planes go home and everything's hunky dory again. I would be the happiest person in the world. But until that happens, uh, I've got to keep buying satellite images. So, so wrapping things up for today. I know I've talked way too long, too much coffee today, I'm afraid. But wrapping things up with the ghost net. I'm afraid that I missed the ghost net window this week. I was preoccupied with some other stuff. And uh, by the time I got on, I only heard a few uh, SNR requests. So, that's to that's totally my fault. But anyway, the propagation by the time I got on wasn't too wasn't too great anyway. So, if you were out there, I probably wouldn't have heard you anyway. I'm trying to work on my antenna, doing a little bit of uh spring cleaning with antenna work and things like that. So, you guys know how it is. I'm I'm no different than than all of you who make this network a great thing. So, I've still got to get my practice reps into just like everybody else. So, so that's pretty much all I have for today. Uh here are the sources as usual. And you guys know the drill. Clickable links are on my Obsidian page for each day of reporting. Thank you all for watching. Thank you for sticking with me this time. I will keep working on the projects I'm working on. I've got some other irons in the fire, too, and we'll see how that pans out next week. But hopefully we'll get some more good news next week. So, thank you guys all for watching. Thank you for all of your support. I couldn't do it without you. I seriously mean that. And I will see you next time. And as always, fight in the shade.

Intel Update - June 7 - Drones, Germs, and Steal-ing

Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for June 1st through the 7th, 2025. It would appear that the summertime antics are in full swing once again as many significant things have occurred over the past week or so. So let's dive in and take a look at what's happened around the world. Though the world is pretty much on fire as usual today, we're going to spend most of this time talking about things that have occurred in the United States and in Russia or Ukraine. Here at home, we've had everything from political theatrics to domestic terrorism threats, both from malign actors located within the United States and from foreign nation states. Like I say all the time, it is hard to determine if the crime waves that we've seen throughout the United States are any higher than the standard baseline for this time of year or if this is just riot season again. But nevertheless, things have remained fairly kinetic around the country. Across the way, things are not much better in Europe. Though there have been quite a few political developments that are rather interesting this week in Europe. Most of the attention has really been focused on Ukraine as usual. Bottom line, the war in Ukraine continues and peace is nowhere in sight. This is most sharply demonstrated by Ukraine's operation spiderweb, their attack on various Russian military bases throughout the Russian homeland, as well as Russia's retaliation, which so far has mostly taken the form of limited missile strikes uh on Kiev proper, mostly the industrial sector of the city. So sources are dubious at best. This is the Ukraine war, right? And misinformation and propaganda is a huge part uh it's a huge tool used by both sides. So, it's hard to figure out what's actually going on. This is not the first few weeks of the war where uh before the propaganda machines got spun up. So, you know, we're kind of here at the latest stage propaganda kind of situation. So, it's hard to figure out exactly what's going on. However, Russia has struck a few targets in Kiev, mostly in the industrial sector, factories, uh military sides, things like that, but it hasn't really been the the big one that everyone's kind of expecting from uh Russia with regards to their response for Ukraine's attack, right? So, if we recall, the last time Ukraine made significant gains such as the their foray in Kursk, the Kursk offensive, Russia launched an IRBM. So, Russia launching a few cruise missiles and a few uh short-range ballistic missiles here and there, that's not really proportionate to what Ukraine did to them with this sneak attack. So, definitely uh keep an eye on this. I'm definitely going to be watching out for to to see what Russia's proper response is going to be. They may not do anything more than this, but I highly doubt it. They're going to have to respond in some way. And just to hammer home the significance of this attack, let's scroll over to Windtac where I will show you some products that I have for Operation Spiderweb. All right, so here we are on the map. So I know that this may look a little bit different uh for some of you out there who uh are used to my ArcGIS maps. This is not ArcGIS. Uh many of you may recognize this as WindC. So this is the Windows version of ATAC or the TAC ecosystem. Now, I know I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself by introducing a new thing without uh kind of any explanation. However, I did want to use WINTAC today to illustrate what's going on in Russia because a kind viewer submitted a data package for me. Uh they went ahead and plotted all of the things that were damaged and destroyed in Russia. And it's a little bit uh more helpful to have a a 3D view of the world that I can more easily uh show with my screen capture software. So, for those of you who are already spun up on ATAC and the TAC ecosystem and you say, "Hey, I want this uh for myself." Fear not. Uh all of these icons here are the kinetic activity tracker and the border crisis tracker, both of which are KMZ's that I have published on my GitHub page. So, if you want to emulate exactly what I have here, you can certainly do so if you wish. I've been updating these KMZs fairly often. And I try to do it once a day, but uh loading in a static KMZ is not uh not the easiest thing to manage if you have to change it out every day. So once every few days seems to be a good medium. But today we're not talking ATAC. Today we are talking Russia. So let's go over here to the European continent and see what is going on. As we can see, a lot of these locations that have been attacked, key military bases, key airfields deep inside Russia's interior have been attacked. Uh this is a pretty big deal. A lot of people may not understand the significance of this, but I'm sure many a white paper will be written by a junior lieutenant uh through all throughout the US military on this topic. So give it some time and you'll definitely see some stuff being written about this. For now though, the very wave top level is understanding that because Ukraine has cracked open this can, now we have a whole lot of concerns that we well we we've always had these concerns, but they've mostly largely just been theoretical. So the reason that these bases were chosen is if you'll notice, they're roughly around the same latitude. Why is this? Well, because of Russia's defense doctrine, which is kind of interesting. So just dipping our toes slightly into a little bit of cold war history to understand why this is so important. Russia is a very special country much like the United States in many ways. In the United States, uh the reason why we have a comparatively easy time with territorial defense is largely because of these two things right here, the large Pacific Ocean and the large Atlantic Ocean. And also the Arctic uh that is very very hard for armies to march their way through. So the United States compared to say I don't know most of Europe, it's very very hard for an adversary to just suddenly appear on our borders and want to cause a ruckus, right? Well, Russia is very similar in that while she doesn't have large oceans to protect herself from uh any adversaries that may seek to cause problems for the homeland, Russia does have a lot of space to play with. We all know the classic phrase, right? the classic blunder, never get involved in a land war in Asia. And the reason for that phrase is, well, many reasons, but it also applies to Russia. So, so what does this Ukrainian attack really mean? Well, look at where these attacks took place. They took place thousands of miles in some cases all the way on the other side of the earth from Ukraine. Now, is this because Ukraine has some kind of super secret long-range weapon? No. They were just able to get spies in uh probably through Kazakhstan and uh they were able to make their way to their targets and this was a very big secret squirrel operation, right? So it's not like Ukraine launched a cruise missile from Ukraine and it struck, you know, way over here in the in the Pacific. No, they they were able to um have a fairly large intelligence victory. Now Ukraine is most certainly celebrating this victory and of course they will. I don't blame them for doing so. Here's the problem though. Um, because Russia has such big space and because Russia is so vulnerable, right, a lot of their defenses are mostly just here. A lot of uh Russia's territorial defense is located along her western border with the European continent, right? So, the fact that these attacks were taking so uh so far behind the enemy lines, so to speak, right? This means very simply that nowhere is safe. So at the risk of digressing too much, I just wanted to cement this idea home and really convey the idea that Russia for many many decades uh to include the height of the Soviet Union made a lot of assumptions about her own defense. Right? Russia assumed that well our big size and our uh spread out forces all the way around our country, right? uh that's going to be a pretty good defense, right? So those, you know, uh pesky Americans, if they were to nuke us or something like that, you know, they're going to have to have a lot of weapons to cover pretty much all of the targets that they would have to do. Well, Ukraine, which is a nation which at least before the war and before American support, Ukraine had the GDP of Nebraska, uh roughly. So now, of course, that's a misleading statement because Ukraine has received hundreds of billions of dollars in support publicly and a lot privately as well. That's not being counted as part of those official metrics. But by and large, Russia's assumptions about uh her territorial defense may not be as accurate as they once were. And this is important. So for all of you out there who don't give one hoot about Ukraine and Russia, here's the bottom line. Ukraine's attack has proven, at least to Russia, that Russia's own preconceived notions about her defense and her doctrine and, you know, the whole idea of why Russia is a very, very big military power. All of these preconceived notions maybe not have been thrown out the window, but they're definitely called into question. Russia thought she was safe because she had a large size. Russia thought she was safe because she could spread her military bases out throughout the whole countryside. and you don't really have to defend so much, right? But Ukraine carrying out this attack proved to Russia that Russia's own preconceived notions about her defense may be inaccurate or outdated. And because Russia was wrong, or maybe has maybe not wrong, but maybe has outdated views of her own territorial defense, a similar nation, which has had similar understandings about her own defense, may want to pay attention. Just point blank. if somebody wanted to conduct the same kind of attack here in the United States, we couldn't do anything about it. So, just something to consider. That's why it's kind of important. That's why I've uh been kind of thinking about it. And a lot of people are going to be writing a lot of papers about this for sure. So, um the thing that I'm thinking about is all right, it's it's one and done. It's interesting. We'll write some write some papers on it and do a deep dive on it, but it's not the end, right? The war continues on. And unfortunately, now that this can has been cracked, we have to be concerned about this sort of thing here at home. I'm not saying that there's uh any direct threat to the homeland on this at the moment. I'm just saying I would not be surprised. So, if one day we get a rather unfortunate wire and things get very very spicy very very quickly, don't uh don't think that there wasn't anyone uh who was not predicting this. So, it's not just me. It's anybody and everybody who can see the writing on the wall. So anyway, I thought that was very very interesting and uh kind of a more helpful way to show this in a semi 3D manner. So I'll be updating my KMZs over the next uh few days and weeks to kind of incorporate this sort of thing. I'm going to have to create a few more layers, so please be advised there's going to be a lot of changes on this. Uh I have not incorporated uh this data package just yet. uh I probably will do so, but I'm trying to figure out how I best want to do it. So, uh just please give me some more time on that. But yeah, I thought that was kind of an interesting way to show this data. All right, back to the slides. With regards to strategic movement, there is really nothing significant to report. Uh the aircraft are still at Diego Garcia. There's still deployed there. Construction on various airfields still continues in the Pacific. All the carriers that were underway last week are still underway. And it's really pretty much the status quo. This of course is not too meaningful of information honestly because uh it tends to lull people into a false sense of security by thinking ah well you know we're not deploying any carriers or you know ARGs anywhere um that means that nothing's going on. No that's not true. It just means that uh the potential for a you know air campaign is kind of reduced. So I don't know. I find it very interesting that those B-52s landed at Diego Garcia right before uh Ukraine unleashed their drone attack on Russia's bombers. So, I'm wondering if maybe they're not necessarily there for operational reasons, but for uh reasons of keeping them out of the way. I don't know. That's just kind of a theory. Have no evidence to back that up, but it's something to think about with regards to strategic movement. Moving to the kinetic activity tracker for this week. It has been rather busy around the country. Lots of additions this week. mostly on the border map, but quite a few kinetic things going on as well. So, let's hop right to it with the more concerning icon on the map, which is the biological terror attack or possible biological terror attack, which occurred in the Midwest, specifically within Michigan. Earlier this week, the DOJ announced the arrest of two Chinese nationals, Chinese citizens, uh, by the name of Young King Xian and Zeon Leu, who were arrested for trying to bring a fungus into the United States, which is classified as a potential aggerrorism weapon. This is not something that we tend to focus on so much. However, this is a very serious problem uh, and a very serious threat vector that China has most certainly taken a very, very big interest in. Of course, these two researchers were working at the University of Michigan to allegedly study uh this kind of bioweapon. Now, I think we can all see through this and see what's going on here, but I find it very very interesting that the University of Michigan connection is there, as you would expect. Now, of course, the the media is uh taking two perspectives with this. The first perspective that the mainstream media is taking is that this is the end of the earth and that the fall of western civilization was prevented by intercepting this uh these these samples at the airport. The other perspective is that uh well this this substance appears naturally in the wild pretty much everywhere in America. So it's no big deal. As we probably can guess, the truth is somewhere in between these two extremes. This is absolutely not like anthrax or anything. It's not something that severe. However, it is a problem when you've got two card carrying members of the Chinese Communist Party who signed a letter, I think in 2022, pledging allegiance to the uh People's Republic of China. That's a problem uh when they're handling things that are classified as potential aggerrorism agents. One thing that not a lot of people have remarked on is the timing of this. These individuals were arrested earlier this week. However, the crime took place last year. Almost a year went by between when their samples were intercepted and they were detained at uh the airport for these substances and when they were arrested. I personally would be very curious as to find out where they were and what they were doing for the past year after trying to commit a bioteterror attack here in the United States. Very very interesting to know that information because it certainly seems like they were just allowed to kind of walk around and continue doing what they were doing. So yeah, it's not like they were just intercepted. they've actually had quite a long time to make other preparations and smuggle in more things and things like that. So, yeah, something to be mindful of. I would be very curious as to find out what was going on. Now, of course, I am not completely naive and I understand that it's very likely that the feds let these two people go once they were flagged and tagged basically after this little stunt and their samples were taken away from them. They probably had a van parked outside their house for a year. And once the the feds rolled up their investigation and developed their networks and they figured a we can't really get much more out of this. Only then did they arrest these two people, but that's always a possibility, you know. Uh so you don't want to rule it out. I personally wouldn't give the feds that much credit, but that's just me. It's possible that a lot of personnel changes that occurred earlier this year because of the election. Uh a lot of people figured out a lot of these older investigations and now they're trying to act on them. I don't know. But I do find it interesting that the arrest took place almost a year after the crime. You would think that with something this serious that would be arrested at the scene and, you know, thrown in a cell forever, but I don't know. That's not what happened. Clearly, they were just arrested earlier this week. Speaking of sketchy incidents, let's move out west for a moment and talk about the terror attack or arson attack or I'm not really sure how you want to call it or label it. Even the feds themselves seem to not really know how to label this, but we'll just call it the Boulder, Colorado incident. This was, of course, the Molotov attack on a persistent protest that was occurring outside the old uh the old historic courthouse there in Boulder. I'm not going to go into too much detail because I'm sure a lot of you have been oversaturated on this kind of attack. However, I have received a lot of messages from locals who are very much aware of this area. And from what I can gather, Pearl Street alone is a rather infamous area. It's very much a uh politically challenging area to be in. As we can see, there's a lot of social issues. So, I'll just say that this area is a very is very much a an area where a lot of social issues tend to clash. A lot of activists around pretty much all the time. Kind of like Portland and Seattle. There are some streets which are basically just I don't know First Amendment zones or whatever you want to call it now. But basically, a lot of people who just want to make their calls heard. They tend to hang out in this general area depending on the time of year and depending on what issue is hot at a particular given moment. In this case, there have been a few pro-Israel demonstrations that have really just been persistent demonstrations. And what I mean by that is it's basically just people getting lawn chairs and sitting uh out in the park there with signs. And that's pretty much it. It's not really much more than that. It's mostly the elderly who have been partaking in these demonstrations. But in this case, earlier this week, uh this individual who does not appear to be very um well wrapped too tight decided to attack one of these demonstrations that had been there for a while. Uh so he lit a molotov and threw it and this is why he is shirtless because he also set himself on fire as one commonly does throwing molotovs. I have not seen any update on how the people are doing who were attacked. I don't know their condition or anything. I saw reports that say that two people were very severely burned, but I haven't seen any follow-up information on that. No one was killed in the attack. So, uh there's that. But in terms of casualties and and those who were wounded, I I just don't know. Again, the suspect as well, his whole life has been kind of released and been the focus of, you know, mainstream media as well as authorities. So, I'm I'm not going to go into too much detail on that. But again, it's just a kind of constant reminder that as summertime comes, these persistent demonstrations, people who have a lot of free time on their hand to kind of demonstrate their whatever cause they wish to, you know, put out there, they're going to be out on street corners and because of this, you're going to have more risk, right? In this case, the closure area here, as you can see, the evacuation zone lasted for over 24 hours. So, I thought that was very, very interesting. And I think they were I think the local authorities were trying to uh I think they were trying to keep demonstrations from clashing again. So they basically just kept everybody out of that area for a couple of days. It wasn't just a few hours. It was several days. Uh and this evacuation zone eventually shrunk down and was cancelled. But still, you may find that because a couple of groups protesting issues you've probably never even heard of because they decided to have a a battle royale in the street. you may find that the city center of a particular area is closed down for a while. Just something to keep in mind as as we move forward into the summer. In the exact same vein, as I am recording this this morning, there are what I would consider largescale riots in Los Angeles. This is mostly taking place at the federal detention facility, the federal building uh there in central Los Angeles. And largely it is uh pro-immigration, counter ICE kinds of unrest. So far, it's pretty much your standard riot. It hasn't gotten too out of hand. They've broken a lot of things, destroyed a lot of vehicles. Uh they appear to be very well funded uh this time around, which is a huge indicator because they've got pre-made signs made uh which are not cheap. They've got vehicles that are driving around that have been made up with signs on them. So, something to be mindful of. the funding level. If a protest shows up and they appear to all have very professionally done signs, they all are wearing matching t-shirts, they're all show up at all the same time, they've coordinated traffic, they've got staging areas. If it appears to be a more professional uh situation, you know, be mindful of that. This is the kind of indicator for something going wrong uh with with a lot of these demonstrators. I know a lot of people will be quick to point out that a lot of these protesters are paid. I can't verify that for sure. For sure. I don't know if anybody can really. It makes perfect sense, but at the end of the day, I'm thinking more tactically on the ground. It doesn't matter if a person's paid or not. If you get hit in the face with a brick, it's going to be a bad day for you. So, just please be mindful of uh the civil unrest going on throughout Los Angeles today and throughout the weekend. Also, something to be aware of. Uh please be on the lookout for this individual up in the Washington State area. This is one Travis Decker. He is the lead suspect in the very gruesome murder of his three children uh at the Rock Island campground just uh east of Seattle just west of Levvenworth. I've been following this one personally because unlike a lot of the other gruesome murders around the country, at least for the first day or so of the manh hunt for this individual, there was a decently good chance that he might be discovered. He left his vehicle at the at the murder site and it's assessed that he was on foot traveling throughout some of these trails throughout the area. So, I wanted to put the notice out to make people aware of this individual because we got to catch this guy. And uh it looks like based on the search area, the extremely rugged terrain, it's probably going to be a member of the public who comes across him first. Now, the initial search area was closed off to the public. uh the local authorities and the state officials and now the FBI who's involved in this. They do not want uh help from local citizens locating this guy during the first few days of the search. I don't know why, but I suspect that it probably has to do with a lot of the rugged terrain. Every single year, uh the county sheriff has got to go out there and rescue people from this exact location. So, it's very very hard uh to find people who want to be found out here. Uh, and that makes for a very challenging search for a fugitive. So, someone who does not want to be found is not going to be found unless they make mistakes. And the reason that I wanted to highlight this is because uh this individual has already made some pretty big mistakes. As of right now, local authorities think they've narrowed down his position to the Pacific Crest Trail. Uh, so he could have gone north or south uh up and down that trail. It's it's hard to say. I can't there's nothing in the in the public view that indicates which direction he went. I can say that the the PCT intersects a lot of other trails in this area. So, if he is truly a fugitive, he's probably going to be using these trails as handrails uh more rather than just walking down the trail. He could also be prepared. He could have cashed supplies. He could also be out of the country by now. Enough time has had has passed to where he could be long gone. But local authorities seem rather adamant, and I don't know why, but I suspect it has to do with the intelligence they have. uh local authorities seem rather adamant that he is still in the local area. So since this uh trail and these the parks in this general area are about to get the flood of people uh into them for recreational purposes, a lot of backpackers uh start moving into this area uh this time of year. Please be on the lookout uh in case you find this individual alive or deceased. So I know a rather gruesome end for the day, but uh that's pretty much all I have. Let's go ahead and wrap things up with the intercepted ghost net reports. And this week was a very fascinating ghost net uh session because right at the time that Russia launched her counterattack against Ukraine uh at least with regards to uh the precursor attacks like the missiles striking Kiev uh that occurred during the ghost net window. So people were talking back and forth about these missiles being launched all in an off-grid manner. So I think that's a very fascinating development. I think that's very good to see. It's very interesting to see information being exchanged on geopolitical issues around the world via HF radio in a way that cannot be censored. You know, in case somebody gets upset and turns off Starlink, in case some malign actor wants to take down a cell tower in your area, you can still get world news through HF or shortwave radio. So once again, thank you guys for contributing to this uh Ghostnap project. Uh you it is really all of you who contribute to this that make it a great thing. And once I get a few other projects uh out of the way, I plan to make it a lot better. So, that's pretty much all I have for today. Here are the sources as usual. Again, links are on my Obsidian page. The KMLs and KMZs for uh most of what I've talked about today are already available on my GitHub page. And all of my other mapping products are, of course, in the description box below. So, thank you all for watching and thank you for all of your support. And I will see you next time. And as always, fight in the shade.

Intel Update - June 27 - Pulled Back In - Maybe

Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for June 21st through the 27th, 2026. Just when we thought the war was over, we get pulled back in, at least to some degree. This is of course no surprise, so let's get right to it. Around the world, it's been a busy week. The main focus this week has been overseas as the earthquakes in Venezuela have caused widespread devastation throughout the most populated cities, including the coastal areas to the north of the capital, as well as the capital itself. Mass casualties have been reported in all of the hardest hit areas and the death toll is expected to be in the thousands. Over in the Middle East, the war has reignited to some degree, though the full-scale targeting campaign has not returned just yet. These targeting efforts have substantially increased the danger to civilian mariners as disputes regarding the administration of the routes has been complicated by the targeting of merchant shipping. Here on the home front, there have been two items of note for this week which I've been tracking. First of all, has been the severe weather and flooding throughout the American South and East. Flooding has continued throughout the hill country of Texas and the following collapse of the weather system has spawned hundreds of storms throughout the eastern half of the country. On average, this is not really out of the ordinary for this time of year, but some areas have been hosted to more severe weather than is normally expected as many storms have swept through the nation. Also in Texas, a different crisis is developing as the spread of new world screwworm has continued to expand significantly. Right now, the total number of cases is still small, a total of 26 confirmed cases so far, but as with all parasites, this can greatly expand without anyone knowing. Considering that the screwworm larva is so small and hard to find on an animal, sometimes this can get out of control really fast, which is why we've gone from one case to 26 in just a couple of weeks. Just south of the border, where much of our beef supply comes from, the USDA has stated that there are over 30,000 confirmed cases in Mexico. This is why things might get a little busy here pretty soon. Concerns are also emerging that highlight some of the more illicit activity that might be going on throughout the region. It's extremely early, so data is limited and this is mostly gut suspicion more than anything else, but it's possible that illicit cattle practices might be contributing to the spread of this disease. For many, many years now, Central American cartels have relied upon diversifying their portfolios by trafficking not just drugs and people, but also beef cattle. Since cartels are not really inclined to follow safe animal handling practices, these cattle tend to be very prone to catching parasites like screwworm. And since they tend to launder cattle through legit businesses for import into the United States, it's impossible to tell if the cheeseburger you're eating came from a wholesome family farm in Oklahoma or a Mexican cartel. This is demonstrated by cases being reported at the same time in different places. The cases in New Mexico popped up at the same time as ground zero in Texas, and these locations are too far away from each other for the fly to have flown that far, which strongly indicates that it's not spreading from the point of detection in Texas, but rather infected cattle are probably coming across the border separately and going to many different places. I suspect that the spread of screwworm is far worse than anyone knows right now because all of the efforts within the United States to combat the disease, while certainly the right thing to do, it's going to not be as effective if it's running rampant throughout Mexico. Having a significant percentage of our food supply originating from the third world is not great for food security, but we're here now, and there's not much that can be done from our end other than monitor and isolate and try to get ahead of it. We will certainly keep an eye on it for sure. It's not worth panicking over, but definitely do not sleep on this crisis, either, since this has the potential to severely impact our beef supply later on this year. Moving now to take a look at the situation in Venezuela, it's not good. I have been trying to use a lot of the helicopter and drone footage to geolocate damaged or destroyed buildings, and it's been rather tough because a lot of these cities are just completely destroyed. All of these points that you see on the map are damaged buildings that are hand-picked by me as best I can and assessed to using the standard building damage assessment guidelines created and used by FEMA. Red are buildings which are totally destroyed, orange is heavy damage, yellow is minor damage, and green is mostly untouched. Most of the damage has arisen from the heavily populated areas along Venezuela's northern coast, which has been legendary and infamous for contracting companies using very poor construction materials to help build government housing projects in this region, which surprise, surprise, turn out to not be very stable. The geography of the terrain also adds to the vulnerabilities as mudslides have been a common observance here over the years with many tragedies taking place here due to this soil substrate not being very conducive to building large structures. Nevertheless, tens of thousands of people lived here in the Catia La Mar area because it was cheap housing with ocean views close to Caracas. This turned out to not be a super great idea as nearly all of these high-rise apartment buildings have collapsed and killed thousands of people. Speaking of the casualties, as with all natural disasters, the true number is hard to assess right now, especially since most of the response is centered in heavily urbanized areas where the population density is extremely high. Complicating factors also include landslides and terrain deformation from the earthquakes making roads impossible to transit outside the main cities, so a lot of the more remote towns are now cut off from major transit routes. Additionally, several aftershocks have continued throughout the area over the past 24 hours, which has made many of the barely standing buildings even more unstable, so it is very, very likely that many of the structures that still remain will probably collapse over the next few weeks. Since people are still living in many of these halfway destroyed buildings, the chances of more fatalities occurring is extremely high. A lot of people simply have nowhere else to go, so they live in what remains of their house even though it's very much a death trap. Venezuela was uh obviously not in super great shape before the earthquakes, and extreme levels of poverty and improvised housing efforts were common throughout the epicenter region for decades. The recent unsettling within the nation after the leader of their country was arrested by the United States also will be a complicating factor because on the one hand the national government is basically in shambles, but there also would be zero chance that the US would have been allowed in to help victims if Maduro was in power, so maybe that will balance out. I don't really know, but either way US Southcom is moving assets to help coordinate the response in the hardest hit areas. Just as a brief digression for a moment on the damage assessment efforts, there are a lot of people touting the use of AI for stuff like this, and I agree this would be a good tool for the job if it actually worked. But sadly in this case, it's just not good enough and produces so many false positives that it's not helpful. And just to show that, I will load in an AI-driven geospatial product that was compiled for this purpose. This is something that Google and I think Microsoft put together, and we can use this to compare and contrast what the truth really is. And just looking at the comparison between what the AI has given us and what I have assessed myself using helicopter footage of the damage, we can see that the AI is hallucinating pretty hard on some of this. Some of the buildings that are utterly pancaked are only listed as minor damage, and some of the places that are marked as destroyed are still standing. So in this case, it was a good try, it was a really good effort, but the AI models that are being touted and being used and and kind of circulating on social media for this, they're really only as good as the data that's put into it. And in this case, a satellite data with more precision would be needed. Preferably synthetic aperture radar, which would cut right through the clouds and make this a lot easier, but those images are very expensive, and in the case of extremely urbanized terrain, it's debatable as to if it would help anyway. So again, good try, but nothing beats the Mark I human eyeball. And even though the boom in AI has really kind of tried to motivate people to use some of these tools a little bit more more commonly than they've been used in the past, coherent change detection has actually been around for a very long time, and that's not an AI-driven thing. Some of these more AI-driven models are not actually that helpful. I just wanted to put that out there because as I was working on this last night, I saw a lot of people like trying to push a lot of these AI-driven models, and it just turns out, well, they're not that accurate. So I foresee this becoming a problem for the disaster preparedness and disaster response community over the years. So, hopefully things will either get better or we'll learn to not rely on tools that we cannot verify ourselves. So, this little digression shows us an important lesson. Just because we have data displayed in a way that looks cool, it doesn't actually mean that it's accurate or even helpful. So, for the products I'm making, the the few products that I can make, I'm trying to use evidence from the ground to assess the damage. And right now, the biggest intelligence gap, the biggest unknowns are the status of Caracas itself, as well as some of the more remote, but still heavily populated towns throughout the countryside. I have high-resolution imagery of Caracas after the earthquakes hit, but there has been cloud cover over much of the city for a couple of days, which has made it hard to geolocate anything. For me, my plan is to do what I can to get a good picture of the situation on the ground, so that any volunteer groups or agencies can be as prepared as possible if they start heading down there. Even though the sort of governance situation with Venezuela is kind of weird right now, I'm sure that there will be some groups heading down. I'm just not plugged into any of them just yet. But, for anyone who knows anyone heading down there who might benefit from some of my geospatial products, as always, everything I'm building is publicly available in three different ways. You can review my ArcGIS maps online just by tapping the links below, which will open up these maps on your phone's internet browser. And if you need more offline access, I publish these layers as KMZs for use with A-TAC or CalTopo, whichever platform your agency uses. And for the researchers who already use ArcGIS, you can pull my layers into your project if you want, because these are published They're published feature classes on ArcGIS online. For me, this is not just a worthwhile effort due to the mass devastation in the region, but it's also a good way to get those training reps in and get more experience in managing disaster situations, even if we might not be able to go to the physical area. So, definitely going to be keeping an eye on Venezuela over the next few weeks, because this disaster is probably one of the worst that that America has ever experienced. Jumping around the world to the Middle East for this week, the situation has deteriorated as Iranian forces have demonstrated that they control the Strait of Hormuz, and they are willing to enforce their tactical advantage with explosives. Over the past few days, several merchant ships have been hit with various munitions by Iranian forces as these vessels were taking the unauthorized Omani route to the south of the normal traffic separation scheme. When the MOU was signed and the strait was truly opened up to merchant traffic, many ships just went for it, and an administrative and organizational disaster rapidly emerged, and the experiences of every ship is individual and unique. Some ships were given permits and continued transiting just like they have been doing since the ceasefire went into effect. Some ships took any route that they could to get out of the Gulf. Some ships kept their transponders off and tried to sneak out between other ships, and many other vessels have remained at anchor as their owners have deemed the situation still too dangerous for them to make the crossing. Earlier this week, the International Maritime Organization worked with all parties, they even got the Iranians on board to conduct a rescue operation to get many of the stranded vessels and mariners out of the Gulf. However, continuing tradition, this operation was paused almost immediately due to the increase of Iranian and American targeting throughout the region. Turns out the Iranians did not really like the ships which were acting unilaterally and taking the Omani route instead of getting a permit and taking the Iranian route. And after about a week of this being tolerated and warnings being issued that the strait is closed, the Iranians' patience wore out and they started striking vessels which were doing their own thing on Thursday night. On Friday, yesterday, the United States retaliated by striking essentially an abandoned dock on Siri Island, also called Sirik Island. And even as early as this morning, it looks like another vessel was actually hit in the Strait of Hormuz once again, bringing the total to, I think, three ships hit over the past 24 hours within the strait. So, the escalations are continuing for the time being, but the good news is that this is unlikely to kick-start more serious bombing efforts because the United States has been drawing down resources from the region. This drawdown effort actually started last week, but I wanted to wait for definitive evidence that the US is actually moving resources back to Europe and not just pretending to move resources around. Most of the assets that have been relocated are aircraft as the US Navy still remains on station in the Gulf of Oman, but earlier this week the Air Force moved a bunch of KC-135s back to Al Udeid Airbase, which we can see on the satellite imagery of the base. This is a big indicator that the large-scale shooting is probably over because this base has been a fat juicy target for Iranian missiles and has been hit many times. So, the fact that the US Air Force is moving these airframes back to Al Udeid is a sign that the US does not expect a return to the more widespread targeting, which is good news. Honestly, this is a message that also works both ways. The Iranians clearly see this too and know that the war is pretty much done aside from the occasional strikes against each other's equipment. How this develops from here is going to vary by the day, even by the hour. And the biggest points of debate moving forward will be around the Strait of Hormuz and whether or not an arrangement can be worked out regarding the transit of the strait. But once again, the Strait of Hormuz is only one half of the equation at this point. The other side of the coin is Lebanon. So, aside from the situation in the Persian Gulf, there have also been some developments with the other main conflict of the region, the war in Lebanon. Yesterday, the White House announced the signing of a document between the United States, Israel, and the Lebanese government to establish a security zone in southern Lebanon. Just to cut right to the chase, this document appears to effectively legalize the Israeli invasion of Lebanon and allows the IDF to keep all of the terrain that they have taken so far and even take a new terrain with this amorphous security zone label. Now, if you think this sounds rather surprising and rather unfortunate for the Lebanese, rest assured quite a few Lebanese are also extremely upset about this and mass protests and riots have been ongoing throughout Beirut for the past couple of days. As you are perusing the photos of the signing of this document, the more astute among you might realize that someone is missing from the table, most notably Hezbollah. Yeah, of course Hezbollah did not agree to this. For those who are unaware, unlike in Gaza, the Hezbollah organization is not the actual ruling government of Lebanon, but Hezbollah does effectively control most of the terrain in southern Lebanon. Lebanese politics is always incredibly difficult to describe, but in general, the Lebanese government has always generally at every single step withdrawn to let the IDF invade their country over the past few decades, simply because they're just a small military. They're a small government. Hezbollah doesn't necessarily call all of the shots throughout the entirety of Lebanon. That's That's not true. Hezbollah has certain areas in which they operate and control. They certainly have strongholds, but to say that they control the entire country of Lebanon is is inaccurate. And the Lebanese government is kind of like the third wheel, to be honest, who doesn't get a lot of discussion these days because most people tend to think that Lebanon is simply just a failed state where Hezbollah runs supreme. And that's not true. The Lebanese government actually does wield most of the control in the northern parts of the country, certainly in Beirut. But down in the south, the Lebanese government, the Lebanese army, has mostly withdrawn from a lot of these southern border outposts and checkpoints, simply because they don't want their soldiers getting killed by the IDF, and they know that they're powerless against the Israelis because the Israelis have the American backing, right? So in fact, the signing of this document is the Lebanese government signing along to a deal that they can't enforce on their own. And they're essentially handing over terrain that they don't even control themselves. The people who actually control this terrain, Hezbollah, did not sign on to this deal and have not agreed to stop fighting the Israeli invasion. As a result, this alleged agreement is probably not going to mean much. So Lebanon is still popping off, no matter how much we want to, you know, declare victory and move on. It's still pretty hot. It's still going to be a point of contention. What the Iranians do in response to the signing of this document, how they treat it, and how they sort of feel about the Lebanese government is going to be very interesting to see, but all in all the Middle East is still on fire as always and even though the MOU has been signed, things are not getting back to normal fast enough. This was always on the menu. We have been saying this and expecting this for weeks now. Even during the height of the war, we knew this. But it is helpful to remember that once we transition from crisis to recovery, the process is still going to take a lot of time that the world simply does not have. And honestly, we have not even transitioned into recovery yet. It's still in kind of the amorphous pause between active fighting and recovery. The crisis is still going on and there really hasn't been a super solid solution for it yet. Now granted, this is what this 60-day period of negotiations is for. This is for ironing out the details of a more solid plan, which at the end of that 60 days, then that plan can come into fruition. But for right now, the crisis continues and unless there were 100 ships transiting the strait per day, this the very day that the MOU was signed, we're simply not going to catch up with the demand, so the crisis still continues. Going from 0% of normal traffic to about 10% of normal traffic certainly does not mean that the crisis is over. And since the shooting took place last night on both sides, both the Iranians and the Americans, it's not really clear where we go from here. The MOU is signed and in effect, but things are not returning to normal and only a tiny fraction of normal has been seen so far. And that's where we find ourselves at the end of month four of this conflict, a lukewarm peace with the occasional missile strike, very tepid traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, oil production remaining stagnant and everybody pretending like the impacts of the war are over. When in reality, we're still more or less in a similar spot as before the MOU was signed. Thankfully, some progress is being made, even though it's slow. But if the Iranians are correct in their assertions, it's unlikely that the global flow of energy will return to the way it was before the war. And now that some limited strikes are taking place once again, it's going to be hard to keep that fraction of global maritime traffic going over the next few weeks. So, wrapping things up today with the Ghost Net reports for this week, I have picked up quite a few transmissions on our little off-grid information exchange system. Lots of people, as usual, transmitting informational reports about their local area, which is fantastic. Summertime is usually the more popular time for radio stuff, and after the past couple of weeks of severe weather around the world, it's good motivation to make sure we are as ready and as prepared as we can be for whatever uncertainties lie ahead, whether it's severe flooding or earthquakes or even ballistic missiles. Maintaining contact with the outside world when an entire region is either devastated or locked down or both is incredibly useful. So, let's get at it and do what we can to have capabilities and options, no matter what happens. So, that's all I have for today. As always, all of my research and geospatial products can be downloaded at the links below. However you wish to visualize the data, there are different options available. Thanks again to all of you on Patreon. I could not do this work without your help, and thanks to all of you for watching. I really do appreciate it. And as always, fight in the shade.

Intel Update - March 28 - Casino of War

Hello again, everyone, and welcome back to The Underground. This is the Intel update for March 22nd through the 28th, 2026. Well, we are officially 1 month into the Gulf War, and not only is no end in sight, but this week has been host to major escalations on most theaters of the war. Today, I'm going to cover a lot of the topics that I have not had time to cover throughout the week, and more generally reflect on the strategic nature of the war. So, a fair warning, we'll be digging into a lot of discussion and debatable opinion today, which I hope will be helpful in getting to the truth of what is actually happening. We can bean count impact craters, and we can watch oil refineries burn, but to actually get to the meat of how this war is shaping the world, we have to dig up a lot of uncomfortable topics sometimes. So, we'll get to that in just a bit. But, starting at the very top, the 60,000-ft view, there are many hotspots for conflict around the world, and we are seeing a lot of smaller conflicts breaking out that seem unrelated at face value, but are very significant conflicts nonetheless. The war in the Middle East is, of course, largely centered in Iran. However, this conflict has spread to be a more regional war at this point as Iranian counterattacks are taking place throughout the entire region. Despite what the White House says, drone and missile attacks are continuing, and the Iranian ballistic missile attacks have been extremely devastating for Israel over the past few days due to the early warning radar sites that were destroyed on the first few days of the war. Separately from the Gulf War, the Israelis are fighting a ground invasion of Lebanon, which has made significant advances at significant cost. This conflict has been a little bit more difficult to track, so we'll have to get back to that next week. I'm still compiling a lot of the data for for the Lebanese war, but suffice it to say, that's a pretty hot shooting war as well, and I think this one's going to go on for a while, too. Bridging the divide between the West and the East, Turkey is becoming more involved in either of the two wars. I'm not quite sure. If that's confusing, I understand. What I'm referring to is the targeting of a tanker vessel in Turkish waters a few days ago. Initially, this attack was assessed to be related to the war in Ukraine because this tanker was carrying Russian oil. However, many people have also made the claim that this vessel was actually targeted either by Iran or by Israel as part of the Gulf War. At the moment, I cannot say what the actual truth is. It makes more sense for it to be Ukraine simply due to geography, but at this point, nothing is off the table, and the Israelis have openly signaled that for them, Turkey is next, so they may also be seeking to bring in Turkey into this little excursion in the Middle East. Still too soon to tell, though, so we'll have to get back to that once we get more information. This leads us to Europe, where other conflicts around the world also saw a resurgence this week, such as the war in Ukraine, which brought about an intensification of targeting efforts throughout the continent as the Ukrainians targeted oil terminals in St. Petersburg. Again, drone warfare is making the world a very, very small place, and to be located thousands of miles away from the front lines is no longer a guarantee of safety in today's modern world. Also far away from the front lines, the global impacts of this conflict, especially the war conflict in Ukraine and also the conflict in Iran, are impacting the entire planet at this point as the world tries to start functioning in a manner where global markets are being impacted. Famine potential in Southeast Asia is growing as fertilizer shipments have effectively been cut off, but even taking global maritime choke points out of the equation, we have to remember the transportation is not the only problem here. Much of the fertilizer market revolves around urea, which is created during the distillation of liquefied natural gas. And since many LNG facilities, such as in Qatar, have been totally destroyed to the point that it will take years to repair them, even if the Strait of Hormuz were freely available to travel through, the petroleum, fertilizer, plastics, and gas markets are going to take years to return to normal simply from the production side of the house based on stuff that's already been destroyed. So, again, these are two separate issues. We don't just have the problems with the Strait of Hormuz and getting cargo in and out of the Persian Gulf. That is a problem. Traffic has not resumed to normal levels just yet, and the Iranians definitely control the strait. But, apart from the transportation issues, we also have problems on the production side of the house because a lot of the refineries and facilities and factories, which produce these materials, the raw materials, they've been targeted and they've been destroyed or degraded heavily to the point where it's going to take months to repair them, if not years. So, again, stepping back, these are the hotspots that are worthy of note this week. The war in the Persian Gulf is devastating the region. There's a separate war going on in Lebanon, and of course, the Ukraine war is uh starting to heat back up again, at least in terms of H asymmetric warfare tactics, and all of the above are expanding substantially and escalating every day with no end in sight. So, this is most certainly a very, very busy time. On the home front, we have also had several items of note to take place this week. Out west, several different wildfires have swept through the state of Nebraska, which has reminded us that wildfire season is most certainly well underway. The Moral Fire and the Cottonwood Fire were initially more devastating with the Moral Fire being the largest wildfire in state history. Now, two more fires, the Minor Fire and Ashby Fire, are currently being worked in the central regions of the state. These wildfires in Nebraska have devastated the agricultural community, and a lot of this area is big cattle country. Ranchers from neighboring states have been trucking in hay and feed to donate to farmers in need with many other recovery efforts being underway. So, again, from the very wave top level, this is a good example of how important and challenging it is to balance out all of the concerns of the modern day. Yes, it is important to know about what's going on in the Middle East, but at the same time, a wildfire in the middle of nowhere in Nebraska removes the food sources for cattle, production cycles are thrown off, and suddenly you've got expensive beef or even beef shortages. Now, in this case, I'm not really sure how much the Nebraska fires will affect the food supply. I don't think it'll be that devastating, but these things are always hard to determine. Many people may not notice anything at all, but it's still a good example of logistical frailty that helps us understand which situations to monitor. Around the country, more direct threats have come to light regarding shadow warfare tactics that are being undertaken nationwide. This week, the hot topic on that front has been the indictment of two Chinese nationals who are alleged to be responsible for the attempted IED attack at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to comment too much on this case just yet because there are a lot of contradictory details that don't quite make sense, so please forgive me. I need to do a little bit more research. But right now, this looks like this is probably the classic Chinese sabotage act undertaken during a time of war purely for the purposes of causing chaos within the American homeland. Remember, everybody is expecting Iranian sleeper cells to be activated in the United States right now, but the Chinese also know this as well. So, when we see an IED at the front gate of the headquarters of CENTCOM, we might be inclined to think the Iranians did it, when in reality, it was really a false flag carried out by the Chinese. Or at least, that's what it seems like at the moment. We can never really be too sure about these things. I just wanted to mention this one because it is most certainly false flag season right now, and the whole world knows this, too. So, while we argue on the internet about those pesky and elusive Iranian sleeper cells, what is undeniable and far more likely, in my opinion, are the risks associated with any number of unnamed groups and nation-states alike that greatly profit when chaos is sown in the American homeland. This will be something to watch out for over the next few weeks, and it would be a good idea to pump the brakes on immediately assessing blame for whatever attacks take place over the next few days, weeks, months. So, that's it for the homeland this week. I know, not a whole lot. Please forgive me. I was going to have another investigation that I had hoped to wrap up or at least get to a point to where I can share my findings this week, but I think I'm going to need some more time on that. Suffice it to say, there's a lot of fifth-generation warfare stuff going on in the homeland that I am most certainly aware of and watching. I just need more information before I can start drawing links and performing link analysis and going through all these structured analytical techniques to try to figure out exactly what's going on or draw some kind of causation, right? I love a good internet skitzo theory just as much as the next guy. However, if we're wanting to actually have some tangible effects on targets, so to speak, it's going to take a little bit more time for me to bring a lot of this investigative stuff to light. So, I'll dig into the MacDill stuff a little bit more with the Chinese IEDs. These things are occurring. I just need some more time to kind of scoop them up together in a in a succinct product. So, moving to the Middle East, how goes the war this week? Overall, I want to stress two words above all else, diminishing returns. It is true that the United States is continuing to bomb targets throughout Iran. However, evidence is mounting that they are running out of the easy targets to strike. This is most sharply evidenced by this short video clip of strikes that was posted by CENTCOM the other day. Now, when I first saw this clip, I did a Looney Tunes-esque double take because in less than half a second, so much information was conveyed. This video shows air strikes of at least two construction vehicles, one front-end loader and what looks like a bulldozer. And these short clips are very, very telling. Now, just right off the bat, you can argue about whether or not these are valid military targets all you want. From my experience as an analyst working in a targeting shop conducting strikes just like this, at least during my time, these would not have been considered a valid military target. But again, that's also subject to what the target engagement authority, or TEA, will authorize. So, the legality of it, that's kind of dubious at best. But more broadly, this video clip is, to use quite an ironic term, a shibboleth. This is a tell. This is an indicator that something's not quite right here. Just to let everyone in on a little bit of targeting culture, whenever a targeting shop starts striking bulldozers, they are running out of targets. And the PAO who was given these clips did not know that little bit of targeting culture. Again, when I was working in a targeting unit for some stuff in Syria a few years ago, I would get phone calls from the Marines at an adjacent targeting cell at a at a neighboring base making fun of us. Like, we would get mocked because one of our generals got a wild idea and authorized a strike on a bulldozer. And you know what? My shop deserved all of that teasing because that's how big of a cultural deal this is within the world of targeting. It's just embarrassing. Like, you couldn't find a better target? That's all you could find is some guy's bulldozer? And in the real world, it really does get played up kind of like that scene from Generation Kill where Captain America shoots up that guy's uh with the AK and his guys say, "W- What are you doing?" And he ends up saying something like, "Denying the enemy transportation." or something like that. It's the same idea, right? You could probably pencil whip it and justify it, which is what they're doing CENTCOM's doing in these clips. You could definitely pencil whip it and justify it under a target engagement authority. But again, professional to professional, it's embarrassing. I would not want my name on a targeting package that that had like a bulldozer on it. It's embarrassing. So, hopefully that bit of insider knowledge helps a bit with context and maybe maybe it helps understand how the war is going. Of course, we don't want to, you know, lean on one extremely short video clip compiled by a PAO as, you know, confirmation of anything. It's more of just an indicator, really. And at this point, if the figures are correct and the Pentagon has indeed run 10,000 sorties so far during this war, I understand that they're probably having a hard time finding valid military targets. Like I and many others have been saying since the first few days of the war, all the dumb ones were killed during the first few days. And now that time has elapsed, the targets that remain will be vastly harder to find, fix, and finish, as the Pentagon likes to remind everyone with a phrase that a super motarded lance corporal might write down in the margin of his write-in-the-rain notebook. But that's what they're doing, literally repeating the most ineffective measures of the GWOT. And the Pentagon is unaware that the relationship between bombs dropped and targeting effectiveness is an inverse equation here. The number of bombs dropped does not equal winning the war. And that's exactly what the Pentagon is telling the public, and it's probably what they're telling the president, too. "Mr. President, Mr. President, look how many bombs we dropped today. Isn't that totally rad and cool?" They're dangling the plastic keys in front of every decision maker, and it's working because there are no low-level analysts in the room telling the president that the targets they're bombing now are becoming less and less effective as time goes on. It's not disparaging against the targeting process. This is just how targeting works. Guess what? Put on your big boy pants. Targeting's hard. Finding the enemy is hard, and they're trying to say that just because they dropped some bombs on some guys, you know, goat shack, that we're actually reducing the Iranian military capability. However, let's make no mistake though in thinking that American bombing isn't doing anything at all. That's not true. We have devastated a substantial part of their economy, and it will take a century, probably, to recover from what devastation we have wrought throughout Persia. But when it comes to the real threats, the missiles and the drones, are we able to target the Iranians effectively enough to stop these types of attacks? Can we bomb the Iranians enough to stop the drone attacks and open the strait? The answer is undeniably no, or at least history does not indicate so. Going all the way back to Vietnam, Operation Linebacker 2, we have never really been able to launch a large-scale bombing campaign that bombs the enemy into complete and total submission without a ground force being part of that element as well. There is only so much that you can do from the air, and President Trump can get on TV all he wants and say that we've taken out all of their missiles, but the dozen or so warheads that land in Tel Aviv every single day and night are proof that this is just not the reality of what's happening on the ground. On the diplomatic front, things are tenuous at best, and now that the war is officially 1 month old, let's take a break for a moment and really reassess what is happening at the strategic level. We can take a look at the more tactical level stuff throughout the week, but today we're really trying to get a good beat on what's actually going on strategically, and this week it's been really crazy. President Trump initially stated that Iran had a 48-hour ultimatum to open the strait, otherwise we would bomb their energy production facilities. But the next day he extended this deadline by 5 days to yesterday, Friday. Well, this deadline came and went, and President Trump extended the deadline again by another 10 days. All the while this was going on, the Israelis were striking multiple Iranian nuclear facilities, steel factories, and other targets throughout the country. So, the war between Israel and Iran is definitely still going on, definitely still quite hot. And Netanyahu himself stated that a ceasefire between Iran and the United States does not apply to Israel, so they're going to keep attacking, which is just incredible. That like that's that's that's just something else. But what this mostly does for us is eliminate the chance for peace. And through our own actions, we have made it very hard to achieve any sort of deal without giving up a lot of stuff. Eventually, all wars come to an end, do they not? And you can have peace two ways. You can have peace through a negotiated settlement, or you could have peace by killing everyone on one side of the conflict. Considering the long train of human events, we very rarely end up killing every single person on one side of the war, so there's usually going to be a negotiated settlement. Again, unconditional surrenders, even though the US is openly stated that's what we're going for, unconditional surrender is very rare throughout history. Most of the time there's going to be some kind of negotiated settlement. And when if you know you're going to negotiate your way out of a war, shooting yourself in the foot and giving up a lot of your negotiating power is probably not a good idea. But we did exactly that. Remember, we started this war by using tactics that humanity has normally seen at the end of a war. So, we used late war tactics right at the start. We killed a religious leader and his wife and children during his religious holiday as part of the opening salvos of the war. Militarily speaking, I speculate that some people were able to convince the president the decision to take out the Ayatollah was a low-risk operation. They probably didn't tell him that killing a head of state would have consequences. They probably did not think this through, and even if they did think this through, they didn't really care. They gave him the play school, you know, plastic keys jingling in front of your face kind of answers to things, and we saw this confirmed more or less with the infamous lay down your arms speech that President Trump gave on the day of the strikes. Which in retrospect, now that we can look back on that event, we can look back on that speech, we can see just how utterly insane that was. That >> [laughter] >> That was so utterly ridiculous that they thought that was actually going to work. But anyway, again, you know, hindsight is 20/20, I guess. But even when we were watching these events happen in real time, even even then we knew this was a bad idea. We knew that this was not going to work. So, it's not like we had to wait a whole month of, you know, this this conflict dragging out to know that bad decisions were being made. No, we could see the bad decisions were being made before the decisions were made. Starting a sneak attack during peace negotiations is a low blow that makes it very, very hard to extract ourselves from because now we're trapped. And nobody told Trump that taking out the Ayatollah was a trap. Our diplomats, think about this, our representatives to the world openly brag about pretending to seek a diplomatic solution, but in secret they were really just stringing the Iranians along because they had no intent of seeking a deal. They just wanted war. It is very unpleasant to note these things. This is for sure. Like I don't take any joy in reporting this. But I myself I'm trying to think about what challenges I would have back in my old life as an NCO, right? And adopting that frame of mind, I would be furious that the Pentagon is behaving the way that they are because when you start off a conflict like this in this particular manner, it makes it incredibly hard to fight on the ground. For all of the NCOs and junior officers out there that are having to manage their guys during a time like this, I know that you guys are having a hard time. I really do. I do not relish the thought of having a bunch of PFCs or lance corporals under my wing who are watching what their secretary of war is saying and having to walk back his statements. It's probably quite tough to do that. As a military leader of any pay grade, it is your duty to be magnanimous in victory. Like that's what gets beat into your head and was certainly a very big part of the GWOT. You do your job with honor, integrity, and professionalism. We know that the war is not necessarily being fought on American terms or even for the right reasons in the first place. We know this and we can't ignore it. But you take the part of the war that's right in front of you, and you do the best you can with it. That's what anybody is going to do. You do not seek out atrocity, and you do the best you can to preserve your own honor day to day. You do not double tap rescuers trying to pull people from the rubble. If we are fighting a war based on bloodlust, we have lost the plot, and I am very concerned that a lot of high-ranking military officials have done just that. And my heart goes out to the low-level dudes out there who are just trying to keep their guys on the narrow path and out of trouble. I really do think and pray for you guys every single day because much of our military leadership are acting like psychopaths at this point and behaving in ways that are below the station that they hold. All warfare is based on deception, but treachery is not a virtue. We must remember that, even though our government has forgotten it. We do not worship death on the battlefield. A lance corporal making a crude remark about some drone footage is a lot different than the secretary of war doing it. We do what we have to do, but we cannot lose our humanity, and from what I see, we are in extreme danger of that happening if it hasn't happened already. We are Americans. We stop harm from befalling the innocent without hesitation, using violence to do so if need be. But once that enemy is out of the fight, we show them mercy and compassion. And now the Pentagon is trying to act like mercy is a bad thing in any context. And all I can say to that is, may the Lord have mercy on us for allowing this evil mentality to flourish and for not having the courage to call this out sometimes. We have got to change this, and I just don't know how. I just thought it was important to include these ideas for the record just in case we actually end up going into a ground fight on this because when and if we start putting boots on the ground, all of these ideas, all of these sentiments are going to get dialed up to 11. Right now it's just an air war. There's not that much risk, but when you start putting boots on ground, the risk goes up, and also a lot of cascading other effects start shaping up, too. Things get really complicated, and even right now, when it's just the air war component, when it's just a bombing campaign, we're really not fighting this war on good moral or just terms. And this is not to disparage the guys on the ground. I mean, we can definitely support those guys who have been, you know, put in a tight spot and are doing the best they can. But at the top, all we hear from the war department is death, destruction, and ego. None of that magnanimity that got beat into our heads during the GWOT era. None of that integrity or honor. None of that avoiding unnecessary killing. None of that healthy respect for the enemy or at least recognizing that they are defending their homeland. Even in Afghanistan, when we were getting shot at all the time, no one was considered a Taliban sympathizer, right, for realizing that the Taliban fighters were doing what they had to do. That was their job. We had our job, too. And there's a healthy respect there. And you can certainly have some level of respect for your adversary during a time of war, at least when it comes to the uh things they can do to you, right? And even so, having respect for your enemy is not something that's just a moral teaching. It's not really just a moral thing. It's also a practical thing. Having a healthy respect for your adversary prevents your ego and hubris from driving your own operations. You don't have to like them, but be very, very unwise to just think that they're all just goat herders, right? And the Pentagon is just going crazy, and they're they've lost all nuance with this kind of stuff, at least publicly, right? I don't know what the generals are saying to each other in private. I don't know what they're saying off camera, but I can tell you the media blitz with this is not good. It's not doing us any favors, and it's making everything harder. Of course, I'm not exactly saying that a hearts and minds campaign would work in this case. I don't think that would work. The reason that the Pentagon propaganda is the way that it is, and it's understandably the way that it is, is because really driving this war on a strategic level. We didn't go to war on our own terms, and because of that, their propaganda has to look a certain way, which is fine. That's their prerogative. But what is undeniable is that a kill everything and everyone approach, that's not really good, either. We're turning the whole world against us, and we're going to have nobody to blame but ourselves for allowing these events to take place. Look, guys, I hate it. And I personally have no sympathy for the Iranian regime, just like everybody else. I also have a very long memory, and I do not forget every EFP, every roadside bomb, and every rocket and mortar that the Iranians gave to insurgent groups to target Americans with. And I certainly hope and pray that America wins the war, because this is my country and this is my home. And that's what you do when you live in a place on Earth. But reality is reality, and through the actions of our leadership, we have given the Iranians the moral high ground for this present conflict, and that makes me absolutely sick. Again, I'm coming back to the perspective of the service members actually prosecuting targets during this war. And I'm imagining the targeteer opening up their joint publications, their JP360, to see that we cannot target civilian infrastructure because it's a war crime. That gets beat into your head all the time as a targeting guy. Oh, it's a war crime. That's a war crime. This is not just something the left loves to screech, you know, because they don't understand what a war crime actually is. No, I'm really talking about the CENTCOM targeting guidance, such as things like the CAT 1 or category 1 no strike list, right? All of the list of targets that we can't strike in war because of not just, you know, this frivolous thing called international law. Like, I mean, like our actual like laws that are meant to be adhered to by the United States, set in place by Congress, mostly for the purposes of making sure that we keep our humanity. That's what a no strike list is for. It's not really for international law. We don't care about international law. It's for keeping your humanity. And then the president gets on TV and says we're going to strike civilian infrastructure, the same targets that you could crack open a book and see like right at the very top, no, you can't hit civilian power plants. Can you imagine what that's like to sit there and having to be a targeting analyst where you're looking at targets that are completely war crime targets. Again, not in the leftist way of like, "Oh, war crime." No, I mean like actual like stuff that damages your soul kind of targets. And they're striking these things left and right. I have plotted almost 2,000 impact craters on my maps, and in my opinion, having worked in a CENTCOM targeting shop in the past, I've seen enough to let me know that they've thrown a lot of this doctrine out the window, and they are prosecuting targets against long-standing doctrine. We are dropping land mines in civilian towns at this point, which I don't think has been done since Vietnam or maybe even Korea. Land mines are indiscriminate killers, and the very minute that a civilian gets killed by an American land mine in Iran will be the day that America no longer has the right to complain about IEDs killing Americans. And at this point, we are speed running our way to violating every ideal that we used to hold dear. I don't like it myself, and of course, nobody in the West wants to give the Iranians credit for anything. But from a purely neutral perspective, during the lead-up to this war, it was the United States that breached international norms by pretending to engage in diplomacy while never intending to abide by a deal. And that trust being broken cannot be dismissed by anyone. It's going to take a lot of effort to build that trust back. Now, you can argue, "Well, we've got our aircraft carriers and our submarines and our missiles and our cool bombs and stuff." But look, man, as much as I would love to be a participant in a lot of American exceptionalism these days, there's a little bit more nuance to it than that, right? House cannot blame anyone for not wanting to negotiate with the United States right now, because American diplomacy has now boiled down to do what we want or we'll kill you and your entire family, which is fair enough in some circumstances, right? I mean, that's that's kind of what you have to do in some ways, right? I am a Roman citizen. I am an American, right? You have to bring that mentality to the world to some degree. But again, there is no crying in the casino of war, and the Iranians still hold quite a few cards to play, which means that the war has the potential to continue for some time if the belligerents so desire. The other factor that the Iranians are probably thinking about is that if they agree to any sort of peace agreement, the Israelis will just bomb them anyway, since it has already been demonstrated by the strike at South Pars that the Israelis are acting unilaterally in this conflict. Right now, sushi from a truck stop in Kansas is more trustworthy than an American ceasefire, and the Iranians are completely correct in assuming that our word means nothing. Granted, in a larger sense, none of the belligerents in this conflict are completely trustworthy, either. So right now, when it comes to potential peace talks, it's a wash. Most of the statements made by American officials have been easily verifiable lies, and President Trump has mostly been saying stuff just to calm economic markets. But also, the Iranian messaging is fairly unreliable, as well, because they aren't talking much. I mean, they don't really have to. All they have to do is survive, so they don't really need to have this propaganda campaign. But even so, most of their media, the Iranian media that is broadcast to the outside world, is mostly just the, you know, the low-grade Middle Eastern flavored propaganda that is very common for wars like this. So they're not really putting in that much effort. I mean, again, they don't have to. They're on the defense, right? When you're on the defense, you you have a lot of advantages. And of course, the Israelis are going to do whatever they want, which is fair enough from their perspective, but their targeting efforts will absolutely derail any potential deal the US and Iran want to cook up later next week during the alleged halt to bombing of civilian infrastructure within Iran. Even though, honestly, it's becoming a little bit dangerous within the United States to truthfully and neutrally examine the overall situation regarding the war. The Iranians have actually carried out relatively proportionate and reciprocal targeting during this campaign, with the exception being the first couple of days when comms were down and local commanders shot at basically everything in range. The ballistic missile strike again at Dimona, which the Israelis tried to amplify quite a bit with Prime Minister Netanyahu himself going to the impact crater, the impact sites there. This attack, while it was horrific, you know, it's always horrific anytime civilians get killed, this was actually a reciprocal attack targeting the Israeli nuclear program. Specifically, they were targeting a bunker that was allegedly being used by Israeli scientists, which was underneath uh the civilian city there. And this attack itself was conducted after the Israelis targeted the bunkers at Bushehr nuclear power plant a few days ago. So again, this is a tit-for-tat kind of thing. Similarly, various GCC states, mostly just the Arab nations of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, uh places like that, they've been complaining that Iran is launching unprovoked attacks into their nations. However, CENTCOM themselves frequently publish videos of HIMARS systems launching ATACMS missiles into Iran from these same nations. So once again, it's mostly a wash. You don't get to sit there and complain that, "Oh, the Iranians have hit our airports," when you've got ATACMS flying through your airspace, and you're letting the Americans conduct a war from your terrain. You're in this war. So again, this is just a mess all around. But again, let's not over-romanticize the Iranians themselves by any means. They are in this for the long haul, and they know that needlessly targeting things they don't need to will result in public opinion turning against them. What all of this means is that the targeting continues as before. The conflict, the war, the death, the destruction continues just like it has for four months now. And not only is the White House not looking for any off-ramps, but they are looking to intensify this conflict and escalate it as much as possible for the foreseeable future. I don't really care what they're saying. Our actions speak louder than words, and considering the contradictory words from the White House this week, I can't really make assessments based on what they say, only what they do. And so far, cargo flights have been increasing into the region, and advanced party from the 82nd Airborne is already in the Middle East to supplement the two MEUs, which should be arriving uh they should have gotten there by now. And within the homeland of the United States, there are indications and warnings of more units being deployed, as well. The shining example of pinpoint precise journalism that is the Wall Street Journal has leaked that the Pentagon is slated up to 10,000 more troops, regular army, to deploy, as well. Whether or not that's true is anyone's guess, but so far, the United States is making preparations for a more protracted ground fight. However, there are still a few indicators that I have been watching for that haven't really lined up just yet, so I don't think we're going to be invading Iran anytime soon, at least not within the next week. Or at least I certainly hope not, because the forces on station right now are not enough to occupy a Buckee's is a Friday night. So we have some more time before we freak out about Americans putting boots on ground. Maybe by the end of next week at the earliest, depending on how serious they are, but again, time will tell. So, all in all, 1 month into the conflict, the situation remains just as steady as before. The Iranian regime has not collapsed, and it will not collapse without a total occupation of the country. Whether that happens or not is anyone's guess at this point, but we will certainly be on the lookout for any indicators that may emerge over the next few days and weeks. And with that, that's all I have for today. I know kind of a short day, a little bit shorter than what I was expecting. So, let's wrap things up with the Ghost Net reports for this week. Once again, another fantastic week for taking the information space to the real world and to trying to exchange information with each other in a more off-grid manner. I know that it's a little boring and super niche, but I think this is a huge part of not just preparedness, but also the act of doing something physical helps a lot. This may sound really weird, uh but over the past few years, I've been working with radio, and especially since the Ghost Net has been working well, I have found that the information that I get via HF radio just it seems more real. It seems like the stakes are higher and or or maybe that there's much more investment in finding out the truth or something like that. I don't really know how to describe it. Maybe some of you know what I'm talking about. It's almost like the same piece of information has more weight when I see it coming in through my radio to my JS8 call screen as opposed to when I just doomscroll past it on my phone. It's almost like the physical act of getting outside, touching grass, and actually putting in some physical work to be informed is a major motivating factor for finding out the truth. Of course, we must always trust but verify everything, but still, in the days ahead, I think that getting involved in the world of radio is a good thing to merge a lot of this this online information space stuff with the real world to kind of help us balance out a lot of that stuff because I think that we tend to doomscroll way too much these days. I'm speaking for myself. I know I do it way too much each day, right? So, getting outside, or even if you have like an indoor radio or something, just you know, being involved in this kind of thing helps quite a lot, I think, even if all you do is receive the signals that others are transmitting. So, a very special thank you to all of you for contributing to the Ghost Net project. I think it's working great. I can't wait to see how this develops over time. It will It will get better. It will get a lot more helpful as time goes on, and I'm sure that there are a lot of other endeavors out there trying to do the same thing to bring a lot of informational efforts to the world of radio. So, that's all I have for today. As always, all of my research and source material can be found on my Obsidian page to trust but verify everything that I use to conduct my daily analysis, and the mapping data that you have seen today and throughout the week can be viewed online via my ArcGIS maps or downloaded offline as KMZ files for use in A Tac if you want to replicate exactly what I have here. All of the links are below as usual, and I hope to continually update all of these products throughout the week just like I do every single day. So, thanks again for sticking with me. Thank you for all of your support, and thank you to all of you on Patreon who keep the project going, and I'll see you next time. And as always, fight the sheep.

Intel Update - November 22 - Significant Resistance

Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for November 16th through the 22nd, 2025. Crazy week like usual, but this time it's going to be a little bit shorter because a lot of the things that have happened this week have already covered in the wire reports throughout the week. So no need to rehash a lot of these things, but some things we can expand a little bit on and maybe get a little bit more clarity on what's going on with some of these events as we start getting into the holiday season. Getting right to it with the global strategic concerns this week. The main focus has been ICE operations or rather the significant resistance to ICE operations around the country. This is again a trend that has been going on for several months now. However, things are starting to get a little bit more heated as ICE operations continue to spread around the United States. Also, in the United States, all eyes are on the Somalian situation in Minneapolis this week, which have brought about a lot of details and situations and scandals that have been very much open secrets in the city for a very long time. But now many Americans are just now figuring out the scale at which a lot of the fraud is being committed in Minneapolis. So we'll get into that in a bit. Down south in the Caribbean, the situation really remains unchanged from last week. No big major updates there and no real uh indication as to whether or not the US is going to be conducting any kind of operation there or not. The White House seems to be kind of interested in doing some sort of diplomatic effort, but that could all be a smoke screen to move into the final stages of whatever military campaign they have planned there. Again, it's all speculation and not really that useful to keep harping on. So, we'll just play it by ear and see how it works out down there. Similar situation over in Eastern Europe. The peace talks continue between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia. The United States and Russia have been working out the details of various types of peace agreements over the past few days and months, but the general public has only really been granted just a few snippets here and there. So, there's really no conclusion that can be made either way. But the talks do continue and we're in kind of one of these cycles again where both sides seem to be kind of interested in finding some sort of common ground which is good. We have had this happen dozens of times before. So it doesn't really pay to get one's hopes up because in two weeks from now both sides may have a spat again and then they veer away from any kind of peace talks. But for now the situation is positive once again which is something that's probably a good thing. That's the situation globally for strategic movement. Again nothing significant to report on this front. Everything is basically where it was before. The Gerald Ford is still in the Caribbean Sea and is in the theater of operations of Southcom. So all players are on deck for if the United States wanted to do something in Venezuela, but time will tell. Moving to kinetic events for the United States this week. It has been quite busy, unfortunately. I am once again in the perpetual battle of trying to keep my maps updated with all of the events that are a little bit more significant than the average street crime. But throughout the United States, violent crimes continue as before. A lot of the very brutal events this week have come from public transit. As one might expect, the two high-profile attacks that I've focused on this week are the immolation attack that occurred on the Blue Line train in Chicago and also the subway stabbings where random people have just been stabbed in the face in New York City on the subway system there. So in the United States, it's become quite clear over the past few years that from a riskmanagement perspective, public transit are death traps. So not everybody can avoid public transit. Some people have to use it uh for their job or just to get around because they don't have a vehicle or something like that. But never relax, that's for sure. Especially as we start getting into the big travel seasons where people are going to be moving around a lot, there's a lot more incentive to commit random acts of violence and just general street crimes, muggings, and things like that. So, something to be aware of as we move forward into the winter months. On the other side of the coin, this week, a lot of the violence has largely centered around immigration issues, mostly when it comes to uh ICE raids in a particular area. Continuing the trench from last week, Charlotte has experienced again more unrest, mostly up and down Central Avenue, which is hosted to a lot of very open and very brazen uh immigration problems. The past few days, the Charlotte Observer and a lot of the Charlotte based media have really just been focusing on publishing tearyeyed interviews of some illegal immigrant business owner who's so upset that they had to close down their business while ICE is in their area. Just kind of completely glossing over the fact that illegal immigrants are in fact criminals. That's just a fact of the matter, right? Everyone who is an illegal immigrant in this country made a conscious decision to break the law. So, you know, that's kind of the way that it is, but we all know how it goes. Charlotte is a absolute dystopian hell hole. So, you tend to get things like this uh very large community watch efforts, very big and very wellunded groups that are uh doing everything they can to openly say, you know, we encourage people to commit felonies. We're literally an occupying force. One of the main agencies, the SMRA organization in North Carolina that has been kind of active for a lot of these immigration issues. They openly say on their website like we're trying to dominate. We're trying to take over. We are trying to eradicate everyone who is not us. Right? That's exactly what they say on their own website. So, you know, you got to you got to take these things at face value. Sometimes if someone tells me that, I'm inclined to believe them. So, that kind of unrest has been more or less a commonality there. It's not really been that effective. uh the resistance to ICE nationwide hasn't really stopped any ICE raids at all. I mean, that's just kind of the way that it is, but it's only a matter of time before ICE are starting are going to have to start making decisions on where to go based on the resistance they're going to see. Especially considering we now have more routine everyday garden variety terrorism plots that just kind of come and go and nobody ever really does anything. Such as the case in Virginia this week, in which case a pair of brothers, one of which is still currently employed as an assistant principal at a high school in Virginia. Both of them planned to travel to Las Vegas to conduct shootings against ICE. They're treating it like it's some sort of sporting event, right? They're trying to hunt ICE agents for sport. Uh, that's the kind of way these people think nowadays. As disturbing as that is, they just talk about it like they're discussing the weather, which is exactly how they got caught. So, like I wrote in the wire, the way that these guys got rolled up was probably the dumbest possible way ever. The story that has been told by the authorities at least is that an offduty cop was uh eating dinner next to these guys at the next table over from them at a restaurant in Virginia Beach and he overheard them talking uh about their planned killing spree of ICE agents just kind of out in the open during dinner. you know, one thing led to another, investigation continued on, and they kind of confessed to it, right? So, for those who think, well, that sounds a little sketchy. Maybe the cops lying, you know, that's a very that's a very good possibility. I'm sure it'll come out in court. I'm sure that a very close examination of their digital devices will show that they had planned to commit these sorts of crimes because at least one of them had already purchased a plane ticket. They both had purchased firearms and selected rounds that they thought were best for penetrating body armor. I mean, they're kind of stupid, but you know, still quite serious. So, there's all that. But this is one of those things to just kind of be aware of. And to be honest, none of this is really that surprising. I lived in Virginia Beach for about a year or so, several years ago. Uh, and I can tell you that if you were to sit down and, you know, eat a meal at any restaurant in Virginia Beach, the chances of you hearing someone planning a and plotting a violent crime, especially from a more liberal perspective, is extremely high. Okay? So, it's not that hard to imagine. It's like going to an Antifa cafe, you know, in Portland or Seattle and overhearing somebody, you know, wanting to take a shot at Charlie Kirk. You're going to go to these, you know, strongholds of this kind of ideology and well, yeah, that's exactly what you're going to see. So, least surprising uh method of being caught ever, but it just kind of goes to show the grand scale at which this resistance to ICE efforts have have kind of carried on. And like I mentioned, and I've mentioned this several times, ICE is not going after people just for being illegal. This is probably a PR thing so that anytime some kind of, you know, mainstream media source or some kind of politician starts screeching about, oh, police brutality. Oh, you're being violent with this person. H, you know, and and they start yammering about that. The people running the ICE social media accounts can come back and say, "Oh, well, you know, sorry to hear that, but here's the guy we were arresting, and here's what he's charged with." And it's always something so horrific that you can't even you can't even say it in polite company. That's the kind of thing they're going after. So, something to keep in mind. people are going to be insane. It's just one of those things. But as we get into more of the holiday season, you're going to start to see probably more of this because well, more and more people are getting funding together, more and more agencies are starting to get better organized and things like that. So, as time goes on, resistance will increase. It won't decrease, it will increase, and they'll get a lot better at trying to protect violent criminals in various cities around the US. So, that's it for the nationwide kind of overview this week. Let's move down into the regions for a closer look at some issues this week. And technically, this first one is actually a nationwide issue still. There were a couple of cloud flare outages this week. There was a major outage on November 18th and a smaller outage again on November 20th that I'm not sure how how many people it affected, but the November 18th outage was the largest one. And I have seen some very uh speculative and unconfirmed numbers that it took down 20 to 25% of the entire internet. And the reason that it happened was very interesting. Cloudflare initially stated that they thought that it was a cyber attack and it still may be. It's one of those things that you're probably never going to get the truth on, but they initially thought it was a cyber attack, but then they revealed that it was actually a single file that quote suddenly doubled in size. Now, how that exactly happened, it's not clear at the moment. I'm sure we'll find out something later on, but that's the story they're going with. One single file was changed and it took down 20% of the internet. So for the non- tech nerds out there, yes indeed, our public internet infrastructure is being held together by uh some duct tape and string. And yes, changing a single file will in fact break a good chunk of the internet. So once again, this may end up being the result of malign action. It could be the result of incompetence. My guess is you're probably not going to find out either way. If it was malign action, you're probably not going to find out. They're not going to tell you the truth because, well, they don't want to look bad. the they don't want to give the hackers or the malign actors any kind of credence right so they're just going to kind of conceal that a little bit but also if it was incompetence right from their data centers in Mumbai or something you know they're not going to want to talk about that for various reasons but nobody wants to look bad nobody wants to talk about how vulnerable their systems are even though Cloudflare is a major company they're still not going to want to be honest with their their stakeholders so something to be aware of look you know the internet is breaking on a weekly basis at this point. So, having alternative communications plans is becoming a little bit more little bit more important with each passing day. But that's it for the tech stuff this week. Moving to North Carolina for a moment. Like I said, the resistance to ICE operations in Charlotte is pretty high. But the ICE operation in Charlotte is actually not that large. They've only arrested a couple hundred people, which is just peanuts compared to the number of people they could be arresting. Right. Meckllinburgg PD is of course not doing anything. They've been given the order to stand down. So ICE agents have they don't have local police protection because the cops want harm to come to them uh in their city. So same story as always, same story all the the places where these ICE agents are going, that's just the way that it is. So risks are pretty high. And one of the more dangerous things with these ICE raids to consider for the average person, right? Even if you're not really concerned about some of the more highlevel nationwide issues, these ice raids are doing a couple of things. And in Charlotte, they've done one thing in particular, which is to show the actual organic population of Charlotte, just how many people are in their city that are not from here. They're not citizens. And they have created a lot of infrastructure. Central Avenue is kind of the main drag in Charlotte, or at least a good part of it. And there's a lot of restaurants. There are a lot of businesses. There are a lot of uh entities. And it turns out all of them have kind of shut down due to immigrants being there, right? People are now doing exactly the same thing that is in every other city. They find that ice is in town. Guess what? Traffic goes down. Suddenly you don't have gridlock. You don't have rush hour. You try to go shopping. Suddenly the grocery stores are empty. You know, and it's like you try to think there's no way there's no way there are this many people here. But the daily life for people has proven this. You know, people just living their daily life. They suddenly realize, wait a minute, this is how many people were illegal in my area. So yeah, Charlotte has kind of proven that. Same thing with all the other states because Charlotte is not one of those cities that you tend to think of when you think of a huge illegal immigrant presence, but it's it's true. I mean, it really is. Every major city in the US is like that. Doesn't matter how big or how small, there are a lot of illegal immigrants in the United States. Turns out that it's probably a lot more than what people think. So, that's something to keep in mind. Also in North Carolina last night, I wanted to mention it uh today because it just happened. There was a mass shooting at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Concord, which ironically is just outside Charlotte. It's like a little suburb of Charlotte. Right up front, this appears to be kind of a gang thing because they released the names of at least two of the suspects. The first suspect goes by the name Nasir Ahmad Bostik, and the second suspect is Kievon Rashad Bostic. So, they sound like their relatives, same surname, right? The third suspect was unnamed, but the local PD basically says this was a case of mutual combat. Two groups started shooting at each other, so maybe a gang thing, maybe a tribal thing. Hard to say. Concord is kind of a small town on the edge of a big town. So, it tends to be more of a sort of quaint, highincome area, but these kinds of violent attacks are starting to occur and injure bystanders even in some of the more uh affluent areas around the country. So, not a new thing by any means, but it's going to continue as we start getting into the crowded season. So, but that's it for North Carolina. Let's move over to the meat of the matter this week, which is the Midwest, the great state of Minnesota and the happenings in Minneapolis. So, for those who live in Minneapolis, quite literally, this is the least surprising bit of news they have seen all year. But the Somali, turns out, are a little bit of a problem in Minneapolis. And this week, there have been two levels of widespread and institutional corruption involving potentially billions of US tax dollars, all centered around the Somalian community in Minneapolis. So, the first scandal was the feeding our future scandal, which occurred some time ago, but now more and more people are being indicted. This was widespread fraud uh from all levels involving a sort of soup kitchen, food bank, food pantry kind of uh arrangement. But it turns out it was all just fraud. Uh, so we'll get into exactly the media matter, how it worked out, but this is the earlier scandal. So just for clarification, the feeding our future scandal that is occurring in Minneapolis right now is older. It occurred some time ago. It's just more and more people because there's more spotlight on it now. More and more people are being indicted. I think they're up to 76 people in indicted right now so far for this uh hundreds of millions of dollars worth of fraud in Minneapolis. But it occurred some time ago. So that is the stage being set for the next scandal which has come to light over the past few weeks really which is the autism services department. So I put together this graphic to help us kind of understand exactly how this this scam works because it's not particularly brilliant. It's a pretty low IQ effort to be honest, but it makes up for that in its brazeness and the fact that it worked uh for such a long period of time and continues to work to this day. So this particular scandal, the one that we're focused on right now, the Autism Services Department scandal, involves Somalians having children and then of course registering them, you know, with social security numbers. And one of the things that they also do in terms of just like a matter of recourse for just having a kid, you know, is to get them diagnosed with autism. So they will go to specific Somalian doctors, which are known throughout the Somali community for just pencil whipping autism diagnosis. You walk in, get the paperwork, walk out. That's the way that this diagnosis system works. Once that kid gets diagnosed with autism, the parents can then enroll that kid in various social programs. They can sign up for a whole plethora of welfare products and things like that due to their kid having autism, right? So, we're talking things like medical care, daycare, special education programs, all this kind of thing, right? In some cases, cash payments, in some cases, extra financial resources. There's a lot, right? There's a reason why it's so hard to understand the the welfare state in the United States because it's intentionally complicated. It's not just one program. It's not just one check. In many cities, specifically at the city level, there are a lot of programs where you just walk up and get something, right? And it's hard to say exactly how much is being used. So, they take advantage of that. Turns out a lot of these clinics, a lot of these daycarees, a lot of these special education programs, a lot of these social programs that are designed for children with autism didn't actually exist, right? They were fraudulently saying that these kids were enrolled, the kids either uh did not exist or the program did not exist. And you might be thinking, well, how on the same hill can they get away with this fraud for so long? Because surely surely there are auditing programs at each level, right? And you're absolutely correct. there are audits of government programs, especially when it comes to things like, you know, welfare stuff. However, it turns out that a lot of the people conducting the welfare uh audits were Somalian, okay, and in on it, right? So, that's kind of how it works. You find out that, okay, this like learning academy ABC or whatever is located on the corner of this street and that street and then, you know, the auditor drives by and finds out that's actually a liquor store. Like, there's nothing here. There's no daycare here. There's no clinic here. But on paper, it's there. And in the Senate and in the House, in Minnesota, they're allocating funding for it. And the place doesn't actually exist or like it's an empty lot. Like the there's like a mailing address, but it doesn't go to anywhere. That's the level of fraud that was happening. It started as more lower level stuff like people getting fake diagnoses for their kids and then enrolling them in programs they didn't need and then that money was getting uh kicked back to various levels of the community, right? But now it's expanded to just be straight up blanket fraud, right? It's sort of like the PPP scandal from the COVID era, if you want to think of it in those terms. And kind of like how you can go to that website and search for the names of the businesses that got small business loans. And the and the business name, like the no kidding business name is something like give me a Hellcat LLC or something like that. And it's like, oh my gosh, this fraud is just so blatant and so open. So that's kind of the general overview of how this works. is just straight up fraud. And it's really, really bad fraud, too. Like, it's just not very well concealed at all because it doesn't need to be because everyone involved from the community leaders to the politicians to even the governor, right? Nobody can touch this issue because if they point out Somali crime, they lose a Somali vote. And if they lose a Somali vote, they lose the state's vote. That's just the way that it is. One of the reasons why immigration is such a bigger concern on an economic front is due to two words: remittance payments. So one of the things that happens is everybody along this this process gets a cut. The doctor gets a cut. The parents get a cut. All these social workers get a cut. The social programs get a cut from all this money that just appeared in bank accounts, right? They're linking their actual personal bank accounts to like, you know, federal and state aid, right? So it's not like they're trying to hide, right? But one of the things they do is they immediately send that money back home to Somalia. And here is where the nationwide importance comes in. It's a lot. The numbers are saying that it's possibly $1.7 billion. Somalia is technically a failed state, so they're not a nation state. But you can think about it like this. The Somalian population in one American city, Minneapolis, is sending more money back to that country than is earned in that country alone. So that's kind of a big deal, right? And one of the reasons that people have kind of focused on this is because of what's going on in Somalia. Somalia again is not a nation state. They are a failed state. And it turns out warlords kind of run the country. So how are they getting this money back to Somalia? Because it's not like you can just deposit money into a bank account and it just appear there. I mean I guess that you could do that but what are they doing mostly? Hala. They're doing the Hala network. I have a whole video on the Hala network system if you want to check that out from a while ago. But the short version is that it's a complicated way of sending money from one place to another without governments knowing and without taxes being taken out. The exception of course is that there are hala brokerage fees. So think of it like Western Union but for the Muslim population of the world. It's not exclusively an Islamic thing but it did kind of uh gain a lot of popularity there which is why you mostly see it in uh Muslim countries. So interesting way of sending money. It's not bad in and of itself except for when it's used for criminal endeavors, right? And one of the criminal endeavors is the fact that a lot of the hala brokers, as in almost all of the hala brokers in Somalia, are actually members of al-Shabaab. Al-Shabaab is a very infamous terror group throughout Somalia and Northern Africa at large. They're very famous for being extremely brutal and very warlordike. They have their origins in al-Qaeda, as with most insurgent groups throughout the Middle East and Northern Africa. However, they're more akin to ISIS. A lot of the times you'll see them using ISIS flags. They're also kind of similar to AQAP or al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. It's one of those things. They're kind of their own thing. So to say that they're like another terror group is probably disingenuous because they're really their their own sort of thing. But yeah, they do have their origins in a few different contradictory groups, right? Like ISIS and al-Qaeda don't really work that well together, but this group kind of has their foot in either one of those groups. But anyway, I digress. the United States, specifically the taxpayers of Minneapolis, the taxpayers of Minnesota, paying these guys the bulk of their salary because they're allowing the Somalians in Minneapolis to send money back to Somalia through halala brokers which end up in the hands of al-Shabaab. Well, that's just not a great look, now is it? Remember TIA, this is Africa, right? So, they don't need a whole lot to be very effective, right? So to us, $1.7 billion, I mean, that's still a lot of money in American terms, but $1.7 billion being sent back to Somalia, that is a substantial fighting force. In terms of insurgent groups, you can do a lot with $1.7 billion in Somalia. You can definitely do a lot with that. So, of course, how much of that money is exact is is going straight to Al-Shabaab. How much of a fee they're taking, it's going to vary. You literally can never know. It's all done via handshake and cash. All 1.7 billion is probably not going into the hands of Ashbab. It's probably buying a whole lot of flat screen TVs in Moadishu. But but in terms of how many AK-47s and mortar rounds is buying, I don't know. Either way, it's not a good look. And this is why President Trump as of this morning before I started recording this, I saw that the White House has ended the temporary protected status TPS status for the Somali in Minneapolis is now terminated. So that's a very very strong development. It probably hints to the growing concerns that have been, you know, slowly mounting over time, but yeah, we'll see how it all works out. But a very fascinating look at at how some of this fraud is occurring on a gargantuan scale. And rest assured, ladies and gentlemen, Minneapolis is not the only place this is occurring. I would bet my last dollar that the same exact thing is happening with other terror groups, with other communities that are popped up around the United States as well. So, it'll be kind of fun to see how that works out over the next few days and weeks as people realize that uh it's not just the Somalians doing this. It's other groups, too. So, we shall see. So, that's all I've got for today. Let's roll it up with the intercepted ghost net reports. It has been a busy week for the ghost net. I've got a lot of people talking, a lot of traffic back and forth, a lot of very interesting uh exchanges of information. It's doing very good. We're doing good this time of year. It's uh nice and pleasant. It's not hot and sticky anymore. So, a lot of people try to get out and uh take advantage of the weird solar weather to see how far they can get. One thing to remember though is that the Thursday night uh radioet is not the only one. Uh there are other times during the week that you can have the best possible chance of of success for uh longhaul shots. So, like for the United States to Europe or for Europe to Australia or so on and so forth, right? Thursday nights are generally for more America, North America, Canada kind of news sort of thing. Whereas Saturdays are for more of the longhaul thing because you have to for many of us who don't have these big gigantic, you know, permanently set up arrays, you've got to change your antenna around. Uh if you want to talk locally, you've got to have your antenna arranged one way, whereas if you want to try to get a long haul shot, you may have to change your antenna around. But that's that's the reason for that. So, radio stuff complicated. I know. Uh it'll get easier with time, but just wanted to remind everybody that yeah, there are multiple times throughout the week that you can uh meet up. It's not just Thursday nights. Uh even though the Thursday night one is definitely where most people tend to show up. So, dozens of people tune in every week. It's always good to to see that, especially with all the Cloudflare outages, right? It makes it easier for us to uh have a little bit more off-grid and resilient way of communicating just in case the war should happen and we lose all comms, right? So, that's what this is all about. So, and with that, that's all I have for today. Here are the sources as usual. And of course, you guys can get the u main uh sources from the horse's mouth from the Obsidian page where uh each source is listed by day. That is the link that I put at the end of every wire report wherever I cut and paste. I cut and paste these uh wire reports to like a dozen different places. Uh but every place should have one link, the one link that you can click to go and find all of the research that I have on uh anything I've done. So, all the sources are there for those of you who want to double check, cross-check, triple check, uh, anything that I say and do. So, thank you guys again for all of your support. I could not do it without you. We are certainly in the middle of another, uh, social media purge. So, analytically, the past couple of weeks, things have not done super well. So, again, I don't tend to focus on things like that. Analytics, I don't really care about to be honest. But, I have noticed that a lot of the stuff that I uh, push out doesn't really make it to that many people. So, Patreon is fine. uh you'll see pretty much everything that I have to say there. Uh but for things like social media, just be advised. You might not uh see some things that I'm posting, especially when it comes to like time-sensitive emergencies. That kind of thing tends to not get uh super wide traction. So, just something to keep in mind. You know, everything's manipulated these days, but I do really appreciate those of you who stick around and support me either way. So, that's all I've got. I'll stop talking now. But don't forget, we've got one more week until Thanksgiving. So, don't forget to take your turkeys out of the freezer and we'll see you next week.

28 July Intel Update: No Surprises

hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground this is the Intel update for Friday the 28th of July 2023 and as usual it is being recorded on the day prior let's start out today by looking at some of the Strategic trends that I guess that's what I'm going to call it basically General topics uh that I'm keeping an eye on and that I think it would probably be a good idea to just kind of keep in the back of your mind as we move forward right up front I'll start with the intense uh UFO rhetoric that has been pervasive over the past a couple of years mostly but really it's kind of reared its ugly head anytime something is going bad for the US government UFOs suddenly uh popped back up in the news cycle as for me I think it's an interesting thought experiment I've even considered uh talking about UFOs or unexplained phenomena from a uh an Intel perspective and how we should treat these sources and and more along the lines of a Doctrine kind of thing but right now I'm really just not interested in it because I think the evidence is quite overwhelming that there's a lot of thing things that sure what we can't explain with regards to UFOs and stuff like that but I also see nothing but government chills talking about this kind of stuff right now like you know I think it's purely an information operation what we now call psyops I think it's a fairly cheesy effort and I think that it's a fairly low effort uh actually I think most people can kind of see through it or at least I hope most people most people it turns out are basically idiots but I hope that a lot of people can see through this and see oh okay there's going to be a hearing on UFOs oh it just so happens to be uh right around Hunter Biden's court date real convenient isn't it so when it comes to UFOs I despite my own you know kind of you know passive interest in that sort of thing uh right now from a professional side of things I'm basically treating this as one large information operation I'm not really interested in carrying it Forward too much even though the news cycle and Congress and the federal government and everyone is saturated with this UFO stuff I'm not interested in in kind of bringing it Forward more than just mentioning this is mostly because we've got other things to talk about like everything blowing up in the country again like I mentioned last time even though I hadn't been able to pinpoint some of these infrastructure uh incidents right uh they have continued and we've gotten quite a few more since the last briefing so I haven't been able to work back in time to kind of build out the map a little further but we'll work with what we've got and it's a pretty good amount so far and of course generally speaking the gaslighting that we have been living under for the past couple of years just continues unabated uh it's gotten really really bad and unfortunately the gaslighting is not really a long political line so much as ideological lines so uh I don't know about anyone else but from what I have seen of mainstream media sources of course you know their whole profession is gaslighting right but even among like supposedly independent journalists or conservative media sources which tend to give or which have historically given like a slightly different you know viewpoint on things uh it's like everybody's gaslighting these days Days A lot of people are doing it unintentionally like I mean good grief I've been personally wrong about a lot of things because I took in a piece of information which was a complete and utter fabrication uh and you know that's happened in the past there you know everybody's been gaslighted at some point uh but when it comes to how pervasive this stuff is man I mean you get gaslighted at your local grocery store I mean good grief it's pretty thick right now and basically every part of society is at least every part of society that I interact with uh gaslighting is most certainly a huge huge problem so with all of that in mind and of course taking everything with a giant handful of salt right let's move on to the individual regions and we'll first start off like always with the Northeast region first up in New Jersey I wanted to briefly cover the cargo ship fire that occurred a couple of weeks ago up in New Jersey this was the cargo ship Grande Costa De avorio which caught fire it was basically an entire ship dedicated to transporting Vehicles now I know what everyone's thinking and this this is part of the investigation but we officially don't know anything yet a lot of people were wondering okay maybe this is to do with electronic Vehicles lithium batteries are exceptionally flammable and they're very hard to put out and basically this entire ship a very large ship was basically a total loss and as of right now we're actually tracking another cargo vessel transporting electronic vehicles that is on fire I think it's uh right now off the Dutch Coast but I'll have to I'll have to figure that out that's kind of a developing thing I haven't been able to track down many details on that so far of course it's really hard to say we don't really know if the uh Grande Acosta devorio was carrying electric vehicles or just standard Vehicles it's really hard to say but in any case this killed two firefighters which is uh shows the severity of this fire and also how in emergency services you have a lot of crossover but there's not a whole lot of training so unfortunately the deaths of these two firefighters is probably more of a training thing because the local fire department who responded uh did actually admit that they had not undertaken shipborne fire training shipborne firefighting uh in a while so unfortunately you know emergency services are getting stretched you're stretched thin and they're being pushed beyond their limits for you know all the firings that were happened uh you know last year and uh unfortunately a lot of people getting out of the business so we're seeing a lot of new kinds of disasters occurring but also an entire basically a dumpster Fire Within the Emergency Services Community for many many reasons but we we can talk about that a little bit more in a dedicated video but while we're on the subject of fire uh let's mention the uh Construction crane fire that occurred in New York City uh which caused a fairly substantial uh event I certainly would not have wanted to be a witness to this uh basically one of those very large high-rise cranes caught fire which which led to a partial collapse no word on any injuries as far as I've seen but it looks like it was a fairly kinetic event so uh just something to keep in mind again is that we're starting to see you know one of these larger trends that we're tracking is a lot of problems within our infrastructure when it comes to our workplace accidents workplace accidents I don't know the specific data I'm sure someone does but I'm not entirely certain I would trust OSHA data at this point because they stopped tracking a lot of these kinds of incidents and people start reporting them as well but by and large what I mean is it seems like there's been an awful lot of industrial accidents lately that are legitimate accidents due to either incompetence low low maintenance uh Parts wearing out and not being swapped out enough uh stuff like that we've seen this quite a bit and it's easy to kind of point the finger and say ah it was a nefarious actor when in actuality it was mostly just incompetence and negligence I've talked about this quite a bit but for those of you who are kind of new this is one of the reasons why we want to talk about this infrastructure incidents and put a spotlight on some of these these things because some of these things are extremely nefarious and there is no reason why something should have exploded uh and there is absolutely no evidence to support any kind of mechanical failure and it looks purely deliberate wow but the media will cover it up and on the other hand some things look a little bit nefarious on the outside but when you look at them a little bit closer you see ah okay this was mostly just incompetence and the company or the government is trying to cover that up in general this is what we're seeing more often now again we suffer from a little bit of analytical bias because we're looking for these things now but at the same time we're fighting you know mainstream media which does not want to show our infrastructure crumbling we may not be able to pinpoint the reasons behind all this stuff but I can tell you even in just my local area the infrastructure is beyond crippled like it's a it's barely functional in most cases but also mostly a non-functional uh it's like living in a third world country in a lot of Rural America now unfortunately Switching gears quite significantly let's go over to Massachusetts where I would briefly wanted to mention the political targeting that uh is kind of a scandal that is coming out of the Boston mayor's office so uh mayor Michelle Wu is now in a lot of hot water for providing a Gestapo style basically like a hit list to police of all of the people that do not support her and allegedly on the list was a lot of her political Rivals as well so obviously uh details are kind of hard to come by right now on this whole incident but uh the mayor's office is pointing the finger at the police department saying that the police department requested a list of people to spy on and keep under surveillance and the police department on the other hand is saying no no this wasn't us this was all mayor's office idea this was like a miscommunication kind of thing uh but in any case just a whole list of private citizens who are political enemies uh to the Boston mayor are now under you know police surveillance right so uh this is no surprise this is actually despite how horrible this sounds this is absolutely a norm a few towns I've lived in this was pretty standard the mayor's office using the police department as their personal uh personal hit squad basically I've seen it person so this is not uncommon unfortunately uh you know we we now live in a world where this is a very common thing unfortunately but I do want to mention it because hey this is kind of the first time that mainstream media has kind of latched onto this and I thought it was kind of interesting considering the political ideology of the the Boston mayor usually these kinds of things when they're done by you know extreme leftists get get pushed under the rug but uh this one somehow made it through the cracks which I thought was kind of interesting but yeah again once again you know you have to remember we may uh complain a lot about tyrants in higher offices but more often than not you know the local local environment's a huge problem so I just wanted to make everyone aware of that moving down to the Southeast region we've got a whole lot of infrastructure problems starting off in Louisiana on July 17th uh the Dow Chemical Factory uh just outside of Baton Rouge uh caught fire and exploded now this is a very large facility uh just on the banks of the river there and they uh have not been helpful at determining what caused the explosion local media and other investigators have have complained quite a bit that Dao has not cooperated with Emergency Services they basically have handled the thing internally and of course of course of course uh Dao has stated that there's no contamination whatsoever and the air is perfectly fine despite the fact the majority of the plant caught fire and exploded this plant just in case you're wondering the section of the factory the production facility that caught fire and exploded was responsible for producing ethylene oxide which is known as a toxic industrial chemical so yeah a known carcinogen I guess is perfectly healthy according to Dow Chemical again not surprising but I thought I'd mention it moving on up to North Carolina we have a more high profile event because it involved Pfizer this was a medication production facility I guess is how I should say it that was struck by a tornado and the facility was a total loss now it's not immediately clear as to what was produced at this facility but we do do know that at least eight percent of all injectable medicine in the United States was allegedly being produced at this facility including other stuff it's really hard to say what was produced at this facility exactly of course the company's not going to tell us and you know the company's kind of sketchy history puts a lot of a lot of thoughts in our head right but I guess we'll just have to see how this impacts other medicines that uh that are being used around the country and wrapping things up with Virginia there was a liquid natural gas pipeline explosion just along uh Interstate 81 just outside of Strasbourg up there in Shenandoah County I think it's a pretty remote area the stretch of highway where the explosion occurred there's as far as memory serves me there's really nothing there uh it's there's no switching station as far as I know or or any kind of uh pumping station or or anything like that it looks just like a normal pipeline piece so I don't know if this was one of those um discoveries by Machinery kind of thing if somebody hit the pipeline I don't know it looked like based on the imagery and and uh the the journalistic photos that we've gotten I didn't look like there was anything in that area so again this is one of those things to kind of keep an eye on until we're until we know uh for sure that it was more of an accident we have to kind of treat this more of a as a uh potentially more nefarious so something to keep in mind moving over to the East Central midwestern region really we just have one kind of um I'm going to call this one an industrial accident because it does seem more accidental there was an explosion at a Winchester Factory uh just outside of St Louis which actually killed one worker uh apparently a truckload a semi truck full of shotgun primers exploded uh and devastated a good portion of that area it looks like the factory may be back online now because it's been a month or so since this but it's really hard to say because again we we very rarely get notification that hey this Factory is back online so I did want to briefly mention it for this region moving over to the West Central midwestern region just like clockwork the more remote area we move into uh the fewer details we get so uh there was an oil well explosion on the 18th of July a couple weeks ago up in Northwestern North Dakota now we have a whole lot of unknowns for this one uh the exact site of the explosion uh known don't even know which company was leasing the well but it looks like there was an explosion at some kind of Wellhead or pump or something like that nobody really knows and uh even though these events I mean they're decently common I guess uh but this one did cause a minor evacuation in the local area because it was along a road so I did want to mention that that you know hey this stuff kind of happens all the time but even though it happens all the time we still need to keep keep these events uh in the back of our minds moving down to the southwestern region boy how do I talk about this I don't think I figured it out yet I've said multiple times I've been trying to figure out a way to talk about the immigration crisis down on the southern border but uh for right now I just haven't been able to figure out how to talk about this kind of thing because it's a very well for one it's very political but it's also very surprising uh for me just my own personal background I grew up in the rural South that's where I grew up and spent most of my childhood so for me agricultural workers picking tobacco uh because I lived in a very heavily dominated uh tobacco area that was a norm and unfortunately there's a lot of stuff that you kind of learn growing up and it doesn't become strange to you um so when you see immigrants from you know Mexico uh being sent all around the United States to these places where they're not exactly used to people fresh off the boat so to speak it kind of is it's kind of interesting to see how people react to that sort of thing because for me it's just a norm uh for me it's it's um not a pleasant memory I have uh I will say that but it's something that's fairly common uh people don't necessarily understand what you know like I lived I think a quarter mile from a migrant Camp a very large migrant Camp had about 500 uh illegals working at it uh living there that whole facility it was really just an old farmhouse that somebody had converted to to put about 50 people per room and uh yeah it's pretty rough uh so there's a lot of cultural things that come out and it's very hard to talk about it unless you've experienced it now everybody down there in this area I know you guys know what I'm talking about but for a lot of people like say in New York City who are just you know aghast at seeing uh some of the things they're seeing at a lot of these uh I guess I guess they're calling them refugee camps or Refugee uh encampments places where they're sending all these migrants all over the United States so yeah as bad as it sounds to kind of say and how and and how carefully I'm trying to talk around this sort of thing uh we saw the same exact thing with Afghanistan right we saw the whole Afghanistan crisis we put a lot of you know Afghans on planes and brought them here to the United States and set them up shop and in a tent city uh at Fort Bliss in El Paso and we wonder why we have some of the problems that we have you know when you've got an Afghan guy who lied about being a senior Taliban commander and he gets on the plane and he's now in El Paso what do you do you know likewise with a guy who says oh you know these are all my my kids you know and they get on the plane and they end up in El Paso and you find out that some you know 60 year old guy has a six-year-old wife you know what do you do with that sort of thing it's not exactly an easy problem set to work through and I think the majority of America that is not familiar with a lot of these problems uh are now finding out uh what happens when you've got this kind of thing happening so I'll just kind of live it leave it at that I'm sorry that I'm having to tip to around it uh so much I just really don't want to paint this incorrectly I want to be as accurate as possible when describing the immigration crisis uh and it is a crisis this is a very serious problem and there's almost nothing that can be done about it unfortunately at least by the average citizen it does point we're seeing a lot of problems with this and I don't really know how to uh to get at the issue because again it's one of those things where we're barely allowed to even talk about it in the first place and even then we've got a tip to around it just so that we don't get on some list I get taken out um so yeah I think we'll just leave it there and move on to the West uh so the only thing I have for the West is in California an interesting rather interesting domestic spying case uh and this you can read more about it if you want you can research it because it's kind of gotten a little bit more mainstream media coverage because of how interesting this is but The Story Goes that a man in California lost his homeowners insurance policy uh reportedly again all of this is reportedly allegedly so take it with a giant grain of salt right uh because he had clutter in his yard and when he contacted the insurance company to figure out why his policy why he got a letter saying his policy had been uh just canceled outright with no uh attempt to mitigate stuff or whatever they just said hey your your policy is canceled because you've got clutter in your yard which is a risk for us when he tried to contact the insurance company for clarification they said oh yeah yeah we sent a drone over your house and uh we got some drone imagery of the clutter in your yard so he of course like I think most people would uh freaked out quite a bit and started digging a little bit further escalated the issue ended up talking to a lot more senior people at the company which then started backtracking quite a bit uh the company then started uh retracting these claims saying oh no no we didn't use a drone we used uh commercial satellite imagery in any case uh it looks really really sketchy and personally based on the details that look you know what's most likely I think they probably did send a drone over his his property some kind of quadcopter or something so yeah this is kind of an interesting case whether it's true or not is Up For Debate I will admit that uh but it's not necessarily something that's out of the realm of possibility uh we have seen this quite a lot insurance policies have been been canceled so often in this country for various different reasons you know remember we cannot forget what happened quite literally like last year you know people getting their bank accounts shut off uh because they had the audacity to donate five dollars to a charity you know but it was the wrong charity the unapproved government charity right so they lost their money when you've got you know politicians in the UK being locked out of all financial institutions that's a problem that's quite pervasive now you know uh so getting locked out of finances getting your insurance policies canceled uh getting memberships canceled subscriptions canceled uh this is a very very common thing uh I don't know if I would call it a Norm just yet uh but it's definitely a norm if you have a certain political ideology and by that I mean you oppose literally anything that world Elise wants you to to go along with right this kind of goes back to the whole gaslighting thing I mentioned like oh we're not spying on you uh that's around right-wing conspiracy theorists we're not spying on you to oh yeah we're spying on you and it's a good thing uh that's that's how it works right so yeah it's fairly depressing to think about uh and I really don't like to think about it because there's really not much you can do about it uh you really have to live a very very difficult lifestyle trust me on this uh you have to live a very very difficult and very hard lifestyle uh just to get the tiniest bit of privacy anymore so yeah uh things are um I would say very challenging uh very challenging in the world today I'm going to go ahead and skip over the international events because uh I am still trying to figure out what the game is uh specifically with a lot of things going on for instance the the unrest in Israel I don't like to cover uh Israeli incidents because anything to do with Israel is a lightning rod topic like I've mentioned in the past and there's just no winning even though it's patently obvious as to what's going on uh it just doesn't do very well to kind of get knee deep in these topics there's just no winning right for now I just kind of wanted to clear the plate on the US and I get a lot of these domestic incidents uh documented if nothing more than for posterity's sake I think that ends up being the goal of most of these briefings is just to serve as a record of saying hey yeah we knew at the time uh what was going on and uh it happened anyway so that happens a lot a lot of times I think a lot of us are kind of in the mode of uh recording things simply for posterity's sake at this point I'm definitely in that in that mode kind of getting a lot of educational stuff pushed out but yeah that's pretty much all I have for today thank you again for your support uh I know it's been pretty rough out there for everyone um and it's going to get a lot more difficult uh just to survive but uh we'll we'll make it or we'll do the best we can either way and I guess that's pretty much the only option we have um these days I don't think we have any hope whatsoever for large victories but I think that we still have quite a few small victories that we can go for and if the small victory is simply surviving another day in this crazy world I think that's probably a good victory to go for so so yeah uh we'll uh we'll wrap things up today and we'll have a lot more educational stuff coming out as soon as I can get uh a lot of these videos edited so uh thank you again for watching and we will see you next time and as always fight in the shade

June 25 Intel Update: "Cause Unknown, Investigation Underway"

hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground this is the intel update for the 25th of june 2022 and as always it is being recorded the day prior on the 24th so let's get right to it all right up first are a new series of slides i don't know how long i'm going to continue this for but i thought it prudent to start talking about a lot of the interesting infrastructural events that have occurred over the past few weeks and months so we're going to talk about this from a regional perspective because i tried putting this all on one slide and it there's just too many so i know a lot of people are very concerned about infrastructure these days rightfully so and i know that there's a lot of either misinformation or propaganda from from all sides regarding who's causing some of these issues or if there is a cause at all so what i thought i would do is break this down by state and by incident really and see if we can kind of pinpoint some of the more innocent events and some of the more uh nefarious things that are just really sketchy all the way around so first up is the northeast region and we'll start off by talking about pennsylvania uh so if you live in the area you've obviously seen this in the news over the past few weeks and that is uh avian flu i of course am no duck farmer right but it looks like there are a lot of farms being impacted in southeastern pennsylvania with regards to either ducks or turkeys i think i don't know if it's spread to chickens just yet it seems like it's really just a couple of duck farms obviously the state is not going to point out where most of these avian flu outbreaks are going to be you know located they're obviously for privacy reads it's not going to be pointing the fingers at a specific farmer but if you can look at this image you can see kind of where the the government has put this heat map out to show where most of the avian flu outbreaks are kind of uh contained i just wanted to start with the avian flu kind of stuff because we have to remember that some of the things that we're talking about today when it comes to infrastructural concerns are really routine things avian flu is almost a yearly thing i'm pretty sure it's a yearly thing in a lot of areas around the country so i understand people's concerns with regards to a lot of the things going on in our food supply and i understand the the hyper hyper awareness that we place on our meat supply in particular these days especially considering all of the things that the oligarchs and the extreme you know leftists and tyrants of the world have been putting out regarding our meat supply uh but i also want to kind of pump the brakes on things that yeah and avoid um events that are basically routine from getting out of control it would be very easy for someone to create a headline that says oh my god all the ducks in pennsylvania are being killed at an astonishing astonishing rate you know 30 000 ducks at two different sites have been massacred right it's easy to it's easy to write those headlines and get a lot of clicks and views but what they don't tell you is that this is pretty much completely normal nowadays now you can of course do the research on your own and figure out what the avian flu actually is and the causes of it and things like that but i'm not exactly going to be peeking around duck farms and houses looking for george soros sprinkling some stuff in their food i'm not exactly going to be doing that so i just wanted to kind of start off with that one a little bit and move on to new hampshire so way back on the 13th of april if you guys can remember that far back east conway beef and pork in conway new hampshire east conway new hampshire was burned to the ground and this is going to be a common theme a very common line throughout this entire brief today that the cause of the fire is unknown and the investigation is underway now again with when it comes to arson investigation it's really really hard to tell a seasoned arson investigator will be very very much able to pick out the more obvious cases and i'll mention these as we go along but for a lot of these you know you can't really you can't really tell what the deal is did somebody is this an accident and we just can't figure it out or is this arson and if it is arson d what's the motivation here is it insurance fraud like i know you know growing up in you know where i grew up and i guess this is kind of a common thing throughout the uh the country is man people would burn their stuff down for the insurance money so you know is that something that is that the case or is this a deliberate attack on our infrastructure i don't know and in most cases throughout this brief today i'm not going to know and no one else is going to know either but i thought that the information would be valuable to share so so moving on to new jersey on the 23rd of march the pepsico bottling facility uh had a very large fire uh there again causes unknown investigation is underway and just keep in mind that when it comes to these investigations you're really not going to hear very much because remember local news sources local medias where we're going to be notified of these events and local media has zero incentive to revisit an article and say hey you remember three months ago that pepsi facility that burned down yeah it turns out it was an accident you're never going to see those news stories right so just keep that in mind as we go along uh massachusetts had an interesting one though both of them kind of well you know basically within a month of each other and both of them involving eversource energy so one was in newton massachusetts and the other one was in plympton massachusetts uh both of them were fires at electrical substations so the first one or actually the most recent one in june on the 20th of june was it looks like a worker might have been involved with that one so it may be accidental i don't know pure speculation the other one though back on the 30th of may was allegedly due to malfunctioning equipment and again local sources really provide no information on that whatsoever so hard to say what's going on but i did think it was interesting uh that there were two of those incidents very close to to one another in kind of the same general area right on the right on the outskirts of boston so very interesting and i guess we'll have to do some more research and figure out what's going on with some of that moving down southeast we'll start off with virginia back on april 30th purdue farms in the norfolk area had a major major fire at one of their processing plants so uh this one was it's really hard to tell exactly what went on it may have been some kind of overheated you know electrical part or motor or something like on a conveyor belt hard to say but the local news sources state that it was uh due to malfunctioning equipment i don't know but the local chesapeake fire department specifically went out of their way to say that it was accidental and not suspicious quote so again you can believe what you want i don't know what to think i just thought i'd share it and move along so in georgia there was a another more interesting one this is a smaller company red ridge llc in calhoun georgia i can't really i didn't really find very much on the company itself but they're they're apparently it looks like they're a very small local supplier of rubber or flooring or things like that their facility burned to the ground and again the cause is uh unknown of that fire moving on down to florida this is a more interesting one back in on the 19th of may there was a train deer element in martin county florida the train that derailed was carrying limestone and it looks like only five or six cars were involved in that derailment again the cause of the derailment is unknown which is not uncommon when it comes to railway things so as one might expect trains and the the rail logistics of this country are very much national security issues so uh when you see incidents involving trains i tend to be more hyper aware of it because uh i lived in the pacific northwest for a few years against my will and it uh it was very apparent to me that a lot of trains were being derailed due to uh eco terrorists up in the pacific northwest uh that was quite clear it was very common uh just a few years ago and probably still is to this day uh but it's very very uh you'll very rarely see that cause being attributed to something so uh when there's a train derailment or something to do with rail it's kind of you know a little sketchy i tend to be hyper aware of it and i'm not saying that's the case down down in florida you know trains are mechanical devices right and it's not easy to move things by rail around the country so you know it could just be something innocent it could be something nefarious i don't know i'll leave it up for you to decide moving on to the midwest or specifically the eastern central midwestern region if that makes any sense basically the five states of wisconsin michigan illinois indiana and ohio i had to break it out that small because i didn't have enough room on the slide so starting off with michigan probably the one that everyone has heard about the most which was abbott laboratories back on the 16th of june abbott laboratories uh suffered they were put on the plant was put offline due to a severe flooding incident that affected the really whole plant complex now abbott laboratories if you recall has been kind of in the news a lot lately due to them being the largest supplier of infant formula in the united states so again i really hesitate to point the finger at something like an act of god like rain uh being an intentional act i don't i mean that's it's gonna be kinda hard to make that you know assessment however when you have such a large factory that has already been in the news you know with regards to being shut down due to um bacterial contaminations and causing this infant formula shortage that we're still going through uh you tend to take notice uh you know one would think that they might have thought to put out a few sandbags here and there i don't know i don't want to you know judge what's going on there because i just i'm just not i just don't know what the situation is but i do find it to be interesting so i thought i'd mention it also in michigan uh there was a very large fire at the rider integrated logistics facility in delta township michigan so rider integrated logistics is a massive supplier of automotive parts they actually are a huge supplier for general motors so gm parts really come from rider integrated logistics they sort parts and things like that and source them as well so the the fire uh damage as far as we know is kind of unknown nobody really knows how bad it is it does not it did not appear to be too bad but it's uh hard to say because we just we just don't have pictures we just don't know right and again like clockwork the cause is unknown again fires at factories are not particularly rare there are hundreds of thousands of fires that occur all over this country you know every year so it's really hard to say what's going on but since this one is such a an important part of our automotive parts logistics you know chain i thought i'd mention it uh moving over to wisconsin uh back on the 13th of june a company called festive foods out of belmont had a very large fire that damaged most if not all of the building they are a major food production facility for some of the more pre-packaged food items that you see in grocery stores right again cause is unknown and it's under investigation really hard to say what any of this really means moving to illinois on back on the 23rd of may so a little bit a little bit further out a company called bio urja if i'm saying that right or bio urja if they're trying to go for urea i don't know uh it's an ethanol plant in peoria uh they are a major ethanol production facility and they had a fairly large fire that destroyed five grain silos so for the guys out in the midwest uh you you already know how big of a deal a grain silo fire is and for anyone else who doesn't know grain dust is one of the most explosive components known to man so whenever you see a grain silo fire that's going to be that's going to be a hot one but in any case this ethanol plant was shut down i don't know how much ethanol they produce but they do produce three grades they produce alcohol like human drinking alcohol grade they produce hand sanitizer grade and they produce vehicle ethanol grades so it's going to be hard to tell if that plant is online now or if they're going to be offline for a while really really hard to say and again the cause is unknown but it's also under investigation so again fires at grain silos are not particularly rare but since it's happened in an ethanol facility i wanted to mention it moving over just a little bit to the west central midwestern region i will start with minnesota which back on the 29th of may there was a fire at foreman farms in stockholm minnesota they are of course a major food production facility they make a lot of pre-packaged freezer goods as well they had a major fire that killed a few tens of thousands of chickens and again the cause is unknown and is under investigation well with this one we don't know if the fire affected just the chicken houses or if it affected the production facility can't really tell but also minnesota again really throughout the whole month of may they had a whole avian flu outbreak at multiple sites around the state in minnesota it looked like it was mostly affecting the turkey supply with many news sources if you want to believe them quoting three million birds affected so far so this is again been kind of a a quasi-normal thing i hate to use that word normal when we're talking about any kind of you know malady but uh the avian flu is certainly something that it just happens every now and then and it's been happening since may in minnesota moving down to missouri on the 2nd of june the paris brothers incorporated company they're from the missouri side of kansas city they're a major cheese production facility they had a listeria contamination so a major recall of a lot of different cheeses you can go to their website you can go to the fda's website and figure out if you have that cheese just so you know it wasn't really highly publicized at least you know not that i saw but again they probably would only you know run ads or notices that there was a listeria contamination in areas where the food probably went but i don't know in any case you know it's worth a check right moving over a little bit to nebraska on the 31st of may a company called knox crete incorporated out of omaha they are a company that manufactures cleaning chemicals for concrete if i have that correct this one was it was a relatively small fire or actually sorry the fire was relatively small the risk was great because as you could probably imagine the chemicals used to treat and uh clean concrete are very noxious and very hazardous so there was a shelter-in-place order for omaha uh for probably tens of thousands of people uh for quite a while while that fire kind of just burned itself out the firefighters went to defensive mode with this one and just kind of let it this kind of kept it from spreading because they couldn't really get too close to it uh the interesting part about this one was that again according to local news media sources which are known for making stuff up uh i the interesting line from a few different local media sources is that there were no employees on the site uh at the time of this fire again i don't know if that means nefarious or not i just think that i just thought it was kind of interesting so and you know the investigation is of course underway and the cause is unknown just like most of these other ones also in nebraska just outside of omaha city they're going to kind of share the same puck because they were kind of in the same area uh there was a cold train derailment and that was back on the 20th of june so um this one went kind of viral with a lot of people saying oh my god our infrastructure's under attack right uh this is again one of those high profile events that have kind of got you know pundits and other people making observations and um yeah this was an interesting one a coal train derailed it it uh chewed up quite a bit of track uh so it looked to me like maybe a quarter mile of track was pretty much um had to be have to you know be replaced due to this derailment um but yeah i was a trained carrying a you know full dozens of cars worth of coal and uh yeah derailed so again no cause to the derailment and it's under investigation uh again like i mentioned with rail things you're gonna have uh you're not gonna get a cause right they're not gonna let people know uh what caused this train to derail lest people get some ideas from the internet right moving up to south dakota back on the 14th of april there was a pretty big fire at a cabinet manufacturing business park i don't really have a specific name for the business there were a few of them there it's really hard to tell exactly what business even the local news media couldn't figure it out they just said cabinet manufacturer cabinet factory uh in blackhawks south dakota again very large fire totally destroyed the building that it was in cause was unknown under investigation then jumping back down to kansas back on the 17th of june um this is an event that has gotten a lot of press and i don't really know what to think about it this was one of those things where it's it's not it's not the event that makes me suspicious it's the reaction to it and this was the mass death of a few hundred head of cattle uh down in southwest kansas so this is something i i read about it i saw it uh i saw it pop up on the internet and i thought you know what you know par for the course i'm not a cattle farmer i've you know never raised uh any kind of cattle and i even i know that heat waves particularly in south kansas you know you get high humidity at night you know decently high temperatures during the day it kind of makes a lot of sense right it just happens sometimes especially you know amongst new farmers who aren't quite so aware of the threat maybe i don't know so when i saw this event i thought you know what not particularly interesting unfortunate for sure especially when it comes to our beef supply you know a couple hundred head of cattle are probably not gonna make a big difference but still it's like you know it's still unfortunate to see however when i started noticing the intense we're talking like military grade media blitz here to cover up this incident and just make it disappear from the internet my interest got peaked a little bit and you know any time i see you know fact checking on something these days i'm very highly suspicious so i wasn't suspicious about this incident before but you know again maybe it's my own bias maybe it's just my own experiences right how often how often we equate bias with experience right in any case my own experiences make me think when someone's trying to cover up something this hard maybe there's something worth covering up maybe i don't know clearly a lot of the more leftist media groups see this incident and they think that there's something to it even when there there might not be you you read any agricultural journal and they're like yeah man that was unfortunate but you know stuff happens right but the leftists clearly don't think that they think that this was they maybe the leftists think that there was something more to this so that's why they're trying to cover it up i don't know either way i just thought it was very interesting that out of all of the events that i've been able to find and put on these slides this is the one that had absolutely hands down the most fact-checking there have been so many articles written and we're not just talking like a little banner on a tweet right we're not talking about a little call-out box on an instagram post no no we're talking about five or six pages of a website talking about how oh this is fake news this is uh oh you know this this this and this and it's like interesting very interesting to see that so i thought i would mention it i personally you know i think it's going to be pretty hard pressed to find there was anything nefarious to do with this specific cattle death but i'm very interested over the amount of fact checking activation uh over this particular incident so we'll move on down to the southwest down southwest we have uh texas and again this is one that to me is not particularly you know nefarious on the face of it except for considering all of the other stuff that has happened and especially the targeting we've seen in our energy infrastructure so in texas back on the 8th of june freeport lng out of freeport texas had a very large explosion and a fire at their facility and the facility will not be online to full capacity at least until september that's kind of the quote that freeport lng has has given out to everyone again the cause is unknown and the investigation is underway from what i can sort of guess from a lot of the local news media sources is that it might have had something to do with venting emergency venting or something like that of uh you know vapors and things like that incidents like this fires explosions at refineries and production facilities pol production facilities are not particularly rare they happen kind of a lot so it's not surprising however but when you see something happen at such an important place you kind of look twice right especially you know five years ago we would have said oh man there's a fire you know freeport lng you know that's that's too bad but nowadays we immediately want to point the finger at something nefarious because of how important it is freeport lng produces or really rather processes uh 20 of the lng that we export from the united states and we're already seeing countries that we export liquid natural gas to they've already said hey we're going to immediately have to go to the saudi markets uh to to fill this demand because your your facility's offline so other countries kind of got the shaft with regards to that you know freeport lng that it's not a small complex it's a huge complex and they do you know thousands of different things there so i don't know how much of the lng that is produced or processed or shipped in or shipped out of the freeport facility where there was the fire i don't know how much that's going to affect american prices for energy i just i don't know i i just think that it's i think it's probably going to affect the export market more but again it's really hard to say moving out west uh let's start with oregon so we've got to go back uh kind of you know to the end of my sort of very loose criteria for reporting back to the 19th of april where there was a massive fire at the shearers foods food production facility in hermiston oregon so from what it looks like that facility burned to the ground and was basically a total loss again cause unknown investigation underway but yeah also just to just the very next day on the 20th of april azure standard in due for oregon they that facility burned to the ground as well now i don't know if that fire burned the hq building it looks like it took out their office building rather than the actual food production facility but again azure standard is a pretty big producer of the you know green bio you know ecologically sound you know organic foods around the country so they make a lot of that there so i thought it was kind of interesting you have two major major food production facilities up in the cascades uh of oregon along the border there and uh they both burned down very very close together again some people would you know say oh it's just it's message misattribution right causation versus you know correlation i don't know i'm telling you i don't know what the correlation is here if there is one i'm just saying that it's a very interesting case where you've got a lot of this stuff happening uh kind of in the same area around the same time you know again could be completely innocent i don't know either way we don't know no one knows because the investigation is not concluded on either one of those so moving down to california another very very large food processing facility taylor farms out of salinas california this was back on the 14th of april and this one actually did get a fair amount of press coverage uh because taylor farms produces a lot of uh prepackaged uh salad goods so if you were to go to your average grocery store pretty much anywhere in the country and you were to look at the like the pre-chopped pre-mixed like salad mixes they have kind of in the river in the produce section chances are you'll find a taylor farms product and that factory uh it looks based on the images it looks like it burned completely to the ground i don't know if it was a total loss or not they will probably have to rebuild a significant portion of that facility if they choose to rebuild it and again the cause is unknown investigation underway i think this one there were a few reports of maybe an equipment failure i i don't know maybe maybe some uh mechanical problem that ignited some ammonia fumes i've seen that on a couple of local news sources that kind of talked about it we'll keep our ear to the ground on that moving up to montana uh on the 27th of march so going back to really kind of like the the very end of the of my uh of when i started looking for these kinds of things there was a very large fire at the exxon mobil pol or petroleum oil lubricant refinery in billings montana so that facility up there in billings billings is well known uh for hosting that v it's a very low it's like several hundred you know acres maybe several hundred square miles if i remember correctly of a combination of refining transporting pipeline some pipeline stuff there are a few well heads out there if i'm not mistaken i don't really know much about the facility but i know that it's a pretty big facility in the area and again causes unknown investigation underway it's really i couldn't even find any pictures of what the damage was i guess we'll have to find out what that is if we find out what it is again just like rail logistics anything regarding a fire or some kind of even if it's like something intentional especially if it's intentional at a pol facility you're really not going to hear about that right so moving to idaho uh back on the 14th of april again so a few months ago jim state processing which is again a major food processing facility they process i'll be willing to bet probably potatoes potato chips out of haber and idaho they had actually a plane crash at their facility uh the facility wasn't really damaged too much but a small small civilian aircraft crashed into the roof of one of their facilities there now this one again the cause is listed as unknown but i just did a quick look at this on google earth anytime i hear of a plane crash at a factory i pull up google maps or some kind of other mapping services better uh and you can clearly see that this facility was directly on the approach path for the local airports runway so i don't know if it's a case of somebody getting their approach all messed up and they just flew into the ground or some kind of other emergency you know we all know that you know most airline disasters occur within what five minutes after takeoff and 10 minutes before landing something like that uh so it would make perfect sense if this was kind of a more accidental thing but again this particular one uh got a lot of press from some of the other you know some of the more conservative news sites you know pointing fingers ah you know they're flying planes into food production facilities i don't know my just my hunch is this was probably more more accidental than intentional so that kind of wraps up uh the talking about the different regions and some of the more the back history i guess if you can call it that of the past 90-ish days of interesting infrastructural events and incidents i kind of wanted to set the stage get the template up there and kind of get everybody used to seeing this kind of thing because i really wanted to do just one slide on this and then i started doing a lot more research and it became two slides and then three slides and now we're you know we're here at multiple slides we might end up having to break this down by state uh someday but again these are not all of the incidents i want to stress that very much this these are not all of the incidents that have occurred uh in the past 90 days these are just the ones that i had the energy to research uh because i had to cut this research off at some point in time or else this brief would just take months to get made this is what i've got for now we will be adding to this unfortunately i'd be willing to bet we're going to be adding to this quite a lot but i'll see what i can do to find more and and see what else we've got so again this is just what i think these are just the incidents that caught my eye and again i had to cut the had to cut the research off at some point so i will continue making this out i'll see if the rest of the team here has has any to add on some of these areas i'm sure if we were if we went looking for nefarious things i'm sure we could find them that's one of the the dangers of research is that if you're if you're on a topic you tend to research what you tend to find with your research right you tend to find what you're looking for even if that's not the most accurate way of doing things if that makes sense again that's why i took a more journalistic approach i'm just telling you about these incidents you can think what you want and i've given my opinion on a few of these as we've gone along and i'll continue to do that in the future but i don't want to put too much emphasis on on some of these incidents because i just do not know i think that at the end of the day doesn't really matter you know man if we found out that freaking bill gates himself snuck into the exxon mobil facility in billings and set fire to the sucker would that make any difference whatsoever to you if that occurred or if it was a total complete and total accident the result for you is the same right your impact your pol market is is impacted you know same thing with the food shortage right if it's a legitimate you know listeria contamination or a legitimate fire that was just legitimate accident or if it was something intentional does it matter are you going to stop the intentional acts from happening no you know i you know our nation's silent services right the the national counterterrorism groups and federal law enforcement agencies that are supposed to be kind of on top of this stuff and have kind of you know this is kind of their wheelhouse and has been since their creation i think it's you know they've made their they've made their intentions very obvious over the past few months and years i guess so i i don't really know that if if we can expect any kind of investigation into any of this stuff i'm talking about so again i just kind of wanted to temper expectations slash pump the brakes on a lot of this stuff that it seems to be circulating around a lot of internet circles and a lot of people are talking about it again rightfully so it's rightful to be kind of concerned about this stuff but i just also wanted to point out you know something somewhat cynical which is you know what are you going to do about it you know is anybody going to go out there and be able to have the intelligence collection capability to know when these facilities are going to be attacked if there is to be an attack right you know that's what that's what my kind of opinion is we can look at the news and say oh well that makes perfect sense all that facility has got a contamination now all that facility caught fire mysteriously in the night you know we can look at this and we can react to it but at the end of the day if we're not going to if we're not going to have the resources we're not going to have the intelligence collection capability as a citizenry to kind of stop these things i guess the best we can do is be vigilant make sure that we are you know watching out for ourselves and our communities and you know others who kind of are more vulnerable in situations like this and so if you're a worker if you are an employee or if you are somehow associated with a part of our critical infrastructure for this country be vigilant you know because you you you might be the first line of defense for for some something nefarious but you also might be the last line of defense right so that's something to keep in mind is that you you might not have a federal agency come to your aid or or stop an attack it might be just you so i just kind of wanted to leave it there i know i've talked a lot about this already but i kind of want to leave it there and just kind of let that marinate for a bit and we'll move on to something equally inflammatory which is church fires so this is one again that i did not really want to make but i did the research and i found myself finding more and more and more and lo and behold i have enough for a slide uh when it comes to specifically fire or any kind of fire event uh saul phrase any kind of fire event that occurs at a religious institution in this country uh is going to be categorized on this slide now i'm trying to rule out the fires that were obviously accidental some some of these fires you can look at and say all right that was that was obviously an accident uh so the fires that i have listed on this slide are really the ones that kind of caught my eye uh and of course we're not going back very far we're going back to maybe march april this is not uh kind of incorporate the you know january february time frame in which there were a lot and even over the winter time there were kind of a lot but i just wanted to kind of cut this off and stick with maybe a march or april timeframe last you know 90 120 days ish so again just to kind of pump the brakes on everybody freaking out a little bit i wanted to remind everybody to remember that churches by their very nature are very big targets for arsonists uh or even just the average mentally ill individual which a couple of these were definitely mentally ill individuals so you know churches are usually very large structures they're imposing on their terrain they're usually on the street corner or in some area where they have got you know got a big parking lot things like that and they're usually unoccupied for long you know periods of time and in many cases a lot of church buildings are of an older construction right so they're not made with the most fire resistant modern materials right a lot of churches around the country are just they've been made you know either in the 50s or even before that uh so they're not really made with the with materials that they're hesitant to burn right so we have to keep this in mind you know and we have to remember that not every church fire is caused by bill gates himself you know and you know i myself do not know the statistics of how many churches catch fire every year i just i don't know i know that hundreds of thousands of fires occur every year and it's really hard to kind of make make patterns and you know determine patterns with this kind of thing all i know is that incidents like this certainly seem to be on the rise or at least we are more aware of the increase due to everything that's kind of going on in the world so maybe it's not an increase maybe it's just us noticing it now and as you as you can see we've got 17 on this slide and that's just the ones that i stopped looking now interestingly enough in my research i hit a lot of barriers which you would expect these days uh of course using google you're not going to find these you literally have to go and search for each state's like local four letter you know affiliate like mainstream news site and then you have to search on those sites so as you can imagine this took me many many hours to find and a lot of these you're not even gonna you're not gonna find if you search for it and newsflash duckduckgo 100 sensors censors its search results um so you can't even really go to like a source like duckduckgo to find some of these you really have to be very you have to like search for the specific church name and then you'll find an article for it which i thought was very interesting uh and as you can see a lot of these are straight up arson uh they either somebody was arrested or they literally have a person of interest that they're trying to arrest or they were caught on film arresting uh you know setting the fire like for number eight there on the 11th of march there were actually two churches well a uh a lutheran church and a synagogue was uh set on fire by a crazy lady somewhere so um that was kind of you know it's a little bit more clear-cut but i didn't want to put it on there because it was such a brazen attack on two different religions which i thought was kind of interesting uh usually if you're going to see something like this it's going to be some kind of fanaticism or somebody's crazy so yeah it's it's very interesting to kind of once you put these on the map you're like whoa there were kind of a lot again i don't know if this is normal i don't i don't think it is um i've lived in america for kind of a long time i've lived on both coasts for a decent amount of time and you know i've spent a lot of time traveling around and i can't say that i think this is a normal kind of thing so again just my opinion but of course we'll keep an eye on these uh as we move along but yeah really all i can do is stick you know pins on a map really and uh just kind of tell you that i don't know what i don't know what to think about some of these things but it certainly does look to be a very palpable increase in this kind of thing at least just based on my own very small sample size so i guess we'll have to keep it keep an eye on this as we move through the summertime up next i wanted to specifically talk about lake mead and the water shortage that's been going on out west so for many of you who live on the east coast like we do and uh water shortages are not really uh they're not really so much of a cultural thing as they are out west uh i wanted to mention how serious this problem has become if you've been listening to me ramble on on these briefs for a while now you will have remembered that i talked about this quite a few months ago about the shortages that are that were going to happen and now that we're here i thought i'd kind of circle back around and and talk a bit about how serious this has become so uh out west uh the colorado river basin and the uh lake mead specifically uh have been experiencing a very very severe drought now this is not a drought that has just kind of sprung up it has been going on for a very very long time some people even say it goes back 23 years but recently the drought has become deadly serious unfortunately i don't really have a whole lot to say on the drought itself other than the fact that it exists and it's going to cause a lot of problems so i'll just briefly kind of recap what some of those problems might be moving forward first of all a lot of mainstream media sources are now kind of getting spun up over this again because of reports that the water level in lake mead is less than 150 feet away from deadpool status now deadpool's status for a body of water is when the water level gets so low that the the water cannot flow downstream from the dam so in this case it's the hoover dam right the massive hydroelectric project that is the source of lake mead right so water levels have gotten so low that they're in danger of not even being able to flow at all out of the lake which means that the colorado river after the hoover dam would cease to exist so this would be a very very serious and very deadly problem for the uh townships and cities and really the entire population that relies on the colorado river for a water source so we're talking about places like lake mojave lake havasu again this sounds really bad and it is really bad uh however we don't really know and when i say we i mean the engineers who actually are working on this problem that no one really knows if lake mead will get that low we've this may still be a few years away it might be a few months away nobody really knows it seems to be a problem that might be a few years out from what i've been reading but in any case what is very true is that the water situation out west is very very dire especially for people who get their water source from the colorado river now again just like i mentioned when this whole thing kind of came to our attention and we started talking about it in earnest many months ago the problem with this kind of thing the problem with a drought is that it's not just a drought it's never just the drought right so when you have water shortages it's not just the water that you have a shortage of it's electricity because the colorado river provides a lot of electricity via hydroelectric projects to the surrounding areas so you basically have all of these bad things compound at once so you're out of water and your power's out right so it's not just one or the other it's going to be both at the same time or you're going to be fa you know around the same time right again for those of us who do not live in the areas that are affected by this it's easy for us to get kind of very complacent and kind of say well okay that's a problem for out west when in actuality it really highlights a universal problem and that is how issues tend to compound at the worst possible times right murphy's law right that's definitely a thing that happens especially when it comes to emergencies involving critical infrastructure so even though for those people who who don't live in the area i wanted to kind of bring this up and keep this in people's minds because chances are you've probably got something similar going on in your area too as far as when the situation out west will be alleviated no one really knows a lot a lot of engineers are saying that this you know we might get some water back this winter time there might be some spring thaw next year it really is hard to tell no one really can give can give a straight answer on when this water crisis out west will alleviate itself yeah it's very unfortunate um i don't really know what to say on it like i mentioned uh but i would say that if you're living out west i would very seriously start looking into where your water comes from and if you can add to your water sources with ground water now easier said than done of course but i just think that you know my little two cent advice if you want to call it that is that the water crisis out west is illustrating two very big infrastructural problems the water supply and electricity you could even say transportation as well if the water gets too low to allow boats and things to transit but it really highlights these problems and you know it's one of those things where you almost don't even want to talk about the problem because there's no solution for it on the very individual level but you know we've got to bring this stuff up and we've got to get people thinking because you never know ingenuity might come out and we might find some way out of this but yeah i just wanted to briefly talk about it even though i don't really have a whole lot to say about it i've gotten a few people emailing us and dming us about it so i thought hey now would be a good time to reassess this now that we're kind of here and the water crisis is most certainly very severe and moving on to significant governmental actions i kind of burned myself out this week doing a lot of research for a lot of other stuff so i don't have a whole lot uh to go off of today for this kind of stuff all right so up first is the supreme court and uh they have given us two things to talk about uh this time around and uh both of them are very interesting so first up is the second amendment uh news which is the supreme court striking down new york's policy of of trying to attribute a reason to get a gun permit so new york had a law or a series of laws that basically meant that you had to provide justification to law enforcement in order to get a certain kind of permit uh to own a certain kind of gun so the supreme court struck that down and um so yeah it's really really good news uh really big news for the 2a community um you know me being me i uh i want to thank all right what's the angle here uh so so i don't want to get sucked into kind of the mentality of being pessimistic and um negative all the time right this is really good news but i also don't want to get super excited uh and i don't want to get sucked into the alternative which is thinking that a court can decide what a a god-given right is so it's interesting to me and i'm glad that the supreme court uh ruled this one of the very few things they have done that i think is actually good over the past few years but i'm also going to leave that caution bulb lit and see what comes out in the future uh and speaking of i had to re-record this segment because uh the roe vs wade ruling was overturned just a few minutes ago as i'm recording this so so yeah that's another very big one a lot of states i think um i have to count again but by my very quick count in just the past few minutes uh over a well over 20 states have trigger laws that are effectively banning abortions in those states i don't have the list together i'm sure that by the time this video comes out the list will be out already i'm actually kind of surprised the supreme court made that decision i surely thought it was going to go the other way but i guess that's you know watching court proceedings for you um i don't really have a whole lot invested anymore in uh trying to cover each little action within our justice system it's just too it's just too much for me to handle at this point but i think that really my own thoughts on it and really any other thoughts on it are kind of irrelevant because what's going to happen is mass pandemonium so as my guess is this will be the catalyst for a lot of violence in pretty much every city in the in the country for the next few weeks what i would also fully expect to see is uh something that we i guess often don't really think about too much and that is the the whiplash effect with regards to the leftist states which are going to uh endorse abortion even more than they already do so we can again we could have predicted this is going to happen uh but i just wanted to remind everyone out there that there's going to be a lot of nasty stuff out on the tv and on the internet and on social media and in real life too so so if you have children that are in uh public school just be advised that right now is is going to be the perfect uh justification for the wailing and gnashing of teeth that is going to come from the left so just keep that in mind uh if you're trying to you know shield your little ones from the the evils of the world so to speak it's uh it's not going to be an easy time so again just remember that um this is struck a nerve with a lot of the leftists out there with pretty much every leftist and it's uh it's going to get nasty and if you don't want your children to be a part of that as we have illustrated that children nowadays are most certainly a huge target for the left uh on an ideological level so just just keep that in mind i'm trying to to to be as as family friendly as possible when describing it but we we all know the nasty things that the left has been putting out on tv and you know things that i would never have expected to find any human being capable of doing is not just done normally but it's that kind of behavior is conducted on live tv uh for all the world to see uh so if you don't want your little ones to see that just just remember um that it's gonna be kind of a rough time over the next few weeks with regards to that kind of stuff so i'm already seeing the the grotesque actions being planned in my local area and i know that it's not going to be pleasant to see for um some of the more vulnerable populations right so just keep that in mind uh and as you know as always get ready for the riots because that's going to happen yeah there's really not much more to say on that so i'll move on so back in 2020 uh the state electoral college electors uh they signed the people physically who were the you know electoral college right signed a symbolic document um that they believed that their votes should go to trump due to fraudulent balance i think that's what happened i'm not entirely certain a lot of and again this is one of those things where i wasn't really too interested or surprised until i started researching it and oh my gosh i've found so much opposition propaganda it's ridiculous the leftist media sources which apparently there are tens of thousands of these websites are calling these people fake electors and they're just really going all in on the story of these people who are trying to like impersonate electoral college members i i really don't know i think that the truth is impossible to determine right now it's just it's like a oil fire it's just too hot to get close to right now uh so i don't know what's going on with this i just wanted to kind of bring this to your attention hey fbi targeting 2020 nevada electors and you can kind of figure out what's going on down the line i'll rev i'll revisit this if there's anything that

Intel Update - May 31 - Summertime Fun and Activities

Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground. This is the intel update for May 25th through the 31st, 2025. So let's get right to it. Around the world, the summertime kinetic activity appears to be in full swing this week with many conflrations arising and a few going away over the past few days in Mexico and really throughout North America at large. The cartel violence has continued as expected. Nothing really out of the ordinary. It's just that this week a couple of mass graves have been found or couple of body dump sites that have been a little bit more high-profile than normal. Again, the violence down there is not really uh it's hard to say if it's escalating or not. Most of this is really not that much out of the norm. However, again, due to local focus on things like this and a lot of local activism, there's definitely an increased focus on some of these uh very, very brutal attacks down there. Across the pond in Liverpool, the vehicle ramming attack suspect has been identified. This has been a rather contentious topic over the past few days. Ever since the vehicle ramming attack occurred, vehicle ramming attacks throughout Europe at large is is not really out of the ordinary. This is very much a standard thing, especially with the uh summertime weather which allows uh more cultural events, more you know, open street fair kind of things and uh you know, people trying to go out and enjoy the summertime and enjoy the good weather. Well, this means large crowds and large crowds always bring malign actors who uh seek to cause harm. In the case of the Liverpool attack, however, it is a little bit harder to slap that general, you know, terrorist label on this kind of thing. We will do so for now. We'll definitely call this uh and use language to refer to this as a vehicle ramming attack because that's what it was. And generally, that's considered to be terrorism. However, considering that this wasn't really a planned thing, it doesn't seem like it was. At least the street was just uh full of, you know, soccer fans, right? Football fans. So, I don't know if this is more along the lines of just a very aggressive and violent form of hooliganism or if this is a legitimate terror attack that we might see fairly commonly throughout Europe. Either way, British media has had a field day with this as the attacker's identity has been released as Paul Doyle. Depending on which sources you read, this is very contentious uh because a lot of people I I don't know what the truth is. I'll just state right up front. don't know what the truth is, but a lot of people suspect that the guy that they arrested and have identified as the attacker was not the guy. I don't know about that. Uh there have been some discrepancies with age. A lot of people were saying that the guy who committed the attack appeared to be much younger than a 53-year-old man who was arrested. There are also some indications that maybe a few uh uh rowdy fans uh who were trying to, you know, take the fight to the the terrorist, the the the attacker during this vehicle ramming incident. There's some speculation that a lot of those guys have been arrested as well for trying to get at the asalent. I don't know. It's a very very hard thing to assess right now. British media is no help. The authorities are no help. The authorities surprisingly or in this case very unsurprisingly released the guy's name rather early on uh in the investigation whereas of course people are drawing the the comparison that the Southport murderer his identity was withheld for months. Uh we didn't even we didn't even know what he looked like until after the conviction. So yeah, we're just going to have to see if we can get our hands on more media of the attack, more photographs of the attacker, more photographs of who they arrested, which so far I haven't seen any mug shot. uh haven't I've only seen courtroom sketches and those don't really those don't really help you that much. So, I don't know. Either way, I just wanted to point out that this is not your standard vehicle ramming attack. It it's a little bit more complicated than that and it's being made complicated by the follow on details of what's going on. So, when everybody hears a vehicle rams into a crowd, they immediately think jihadi kind of thing. They immediately think Islamic based terrorism. And so whenever that doesn't appear to be the case, it appears to be some uh what we might consider to be terrorism of some other variety, it's really hard to get a beat on sometimes. And I think that's what's going on here. So we'll see. But right now, there's not a whole lot to go off of. Similarly, much uncertainty remains in Iran with regards to the talks that are ongoing. Just like last week, uh in which I said there's been a lot of talk, but not a lot of action or any kind of verification that this talk has any credence. The same things happened this week. There's been a lot of talk that says that Israel is going to go to war with Iran one way or the other in the next few days. We've heard this many, many times before. I don't know how true this is. There's just not anything to go off of. So, but I'm not sure. All that seems relatively certain is that war with Iran is certainly still on the menu and it probably will be for a while. Uh, but in terms of figuring out, are we really going to do this? Is Israel really going to do this? Yeah, it's anybody's guess. Right now, they've got their hands full with Gaza. So, once that wraps up and they they finally achieved their goals there, uh my guess is that they'll have the ability to open up another front wherever they choose, whether it be West Bank, Lebanon, wherever. And that's probably going to continue for a while. In the South Pacific, things are both heating up and cooling down. Earlier this week, there was a brief border clash between Cambodia and Thailand in a very well-known disputed area. This happens occasionally. This is kind of a thing that's been going on for a long time, but for a few days there, it seemed like they were they were really getting ready to go to swinging at each other. This is something that happens quite often in this particular area. It's really just jungle, you know, just south of the Golden Triangle. So, you know, it's anybody's guess as what actually goes on out there in those jungles. But either way, both sides claimed that the other started it, and that's how border clashes usually go in this part of the world. Either way, both countries sent a few thousand troops from what I can tell to the border region before the leaders of both countries stepped in and said, "Hey, you know, cool it kind of thing." So, that's kind of how it remains right now. It's it's cooled off quite a bit, which is good. Uh, I don't know how much Cambodia and Thailand are are going to feel like going to war with each other. I don't think so. I think it's just a brief border spat, but you never know. Stranger things have happened. And it is most certainly the time where every other Tuesday you're just reading about two nations getting ready to go to war with each other. That's just kind of the way it is in the 2020s. So similar situation in China. Uh this week the United States and well China as well have been kind of trading rhetoric back and forth a little bit. The Pentagon the other day uh Pete Hexath the Secretary of Defense has made it clear that the Pacific pivot is definitely a military aspiration. Still, the United States is still very much considering China to be an adversary, especially when it comes to the use of military force in the Pacific theater. Now, I know that sounds like a lot of DC think tank talk, but this is generally true. Uh the United States is most certainly preparing for some kind of military aspiration on China's part. Mostly when we refer to uh this, we're talking about China invading Taiwan and the First Island chain. Not just Taiwan, but the whole first island chain, which includes parts of Japan, Okinawa, and uh the Philippines. So, is an invasion imminent? No, of course not. China's got quite a long time before that becomes uh viable, but they're working on it. China's getting a lot better at a lot of things, and it's going to sneak up on us. At least that's what the the Pentagon is trying to say. I don't know. There's a lot of rhetoric back and forth on that, but generally speaking, that's the kind of status right now. The dragon in the Pacific is definitely stirring, though uh things are not completely out of control just yet. It's still within the realm of diplomacy. It's still within the realm of posturing, power projection, things like that. We're not really getting into the military operation, operational planning phases yet, which is probably a good thing. And speaking of operational planning, uh strategic movement for this week has largely been relatively benign. The Truman Carrier Strike Group uh returned to Norfolk this morning. I saw they pulled into to port earlier uh today a few hours ago. The Carl Vincent remains in the Middle Eastern theater. That's going to be our carrier for there for a while. But now, if you guys will note, we're down to just one aircraft carrier in the Middle East again, which is a good sign. Generally speaking, for those of you who, you know, don't follow this kind of thing. Whenever the United States puts two aircraft carriers in Sentcom in the Middle East somewhere, that tends to suggest that we're either going to war or tensions are pretty high. It's hard to determine which. Maybe there's a intentionality behind that. But still, for the past few weeks, there have been a couple of aircraft carriers in Sentcom's AO conducting operations in Yemen. And now that the Truman's rather unfortunate uh deployment has come to an end, the Carl Vincson remains uh the only flat top in the Middle East theater for now at least. Similar story out in the Pacific. The Nimttz is conducting her final deployment to the Pacific theater. Really just kind of doing the status quo. So we're we're kind of back to a baseline of uh American aircraft carrier strategic movement around the globe, which is a good thing. So it just means that there's not really an increase in tensions to the point to where we feel like a a second aircraft carrier is needed somewhere. Moving to the kinetic activity tracker, there have been a lot of developments, but mostly on the border crisis tracking map. So you can see uh I've got a few riots in Seattle this week. Of course, it's it's Seattle, so that's kind of thing is going to happen. But mostly what I've been focusing on this week have been the events down in Mexico which I'm generally putting on the border crisis map. So it's a different different data set. So there have been two high-profile in incidents this week. Both of which involve the finding of human remains or mass graves. The more high-profile one that's gotten a lot of uh locals upset occurred in the town of Reosa, a border town right on the Texas border there. A local uh band was found murdered. all four members of the band plus their photographer uh that were found in a body dump site just in in a vacant lot there in Reosa because these guys were fairly famous locally. This has sparked local outrage and you know so we're starting to see a little bit more political activism with this kind of thing. This happens occasionally. Again, it's not out of the ordinary, but but because of this focus on a lot of the the cartel problems down there, we're starting to see this a lot more in local media than we have in years past. So, I don't know if this is out of the norm. I don't think it is. I mean, it's fairly violent down there anyway, but there are a lot more of these stories coming to light from within Mexico, such as the finding of a mass grave down in the small town of Iratau, which is in the middle of absolute nowhere. There is nothing there. Uh, I mean, it's it's a fairly, I don't know, moderatesized uh town for central Mexico. But in any case, if you look at the Google Street View of where I was able to geollocate this this uh mass grave to be, it's kind of in the middle of a town. It's right on the edge of a soccer field, right? So, there are houses built up all around there. Normally, when you see a kill site from the cartel, it's going to be in the middle of nowhere. I mean, occasionally it happens in more builtup areas, but my guess is that this whole town is in on it or knows what's going on or full of people who are terrified, but they know exactly what is going on in that town. So, that's a tale as old as time down there. Again, it's not new. In Mexico, you go to the house next door and find 17 bodies one day. That tends to be how it works sometimes. So there are a lot of indicators to help uh identify and start working the cartel problem but I I can just say it's a very big task. There have been a lot of people who have spent 30 40 year careers and they have not put a dent in anything even in their local area. So it's a big problem set. It's bigger than terrorism. It's bigger than journalism. It's it's a very big investigative line of effort. So, uh, please forgive me if if this is going to take me a little while to start getting a better beat on because right now we're we're not even scratching the surface here with the events that are occurring in Mexico. So, we're definitely not seeing the whole picture. We're looking at looking at the issue through a soda straw. But, I do want to focus on some of these more horrific things. Sometimes it's not pleasant, but I think it's important for us to to be mindful of, especially considering how much the cartel's influence uh runs here in the United States. So, moving to the United States specifically, let's talk about the Northeast region for a bit. Moving around the whole country, the general story is that the summertime fund is here once again. A lot of this doesn't really have a whole lot of intel value, but I'll go ahead and skim through it anyway. So, Pennsylvania, there was a mass shooting. It was probably more of a cultural or gang related thing because it involved this large-scale Memorial Day event in the park 10:30 at night. We all know how this goes. Anyway, multiple shooters. Two were killed, nine were wounded in a city park, Fairmont Park in Philadelphia. Not particularly surprising. Locals probably don't bat an eye at this kind of thing, but something to be mindful of being in a city park at night uh in any city of moderate size in the United States. That's a that's a risk these days. Moving over to the southwestern region this week, rather interesting cases of vandalism at various Islamic related sites. So there were two Islamic cultural centers that were vandalized with graffiti and a third site which was a mosque which is uh to the south of of these two sites. I found this to be kind of interesting so I thought I would mention it. Uh but yeah, vandal vandalisms are definitely going to happen a lot more often this summer. This is a very easy assessment to make. Anybody can guess that. But what I thought was quite interesting is when I was putting these uh incidents on the kinetic activity tracker, it looks like we're starting to build a little bit of a pattern here because both of these sites were located pretty close to each other, which is interesting. It kind of makes sense if somebody's foot mobile walking around with a can of spray paint, they're probably going to tag up any site that they can easily walk to. But more interestingly than that, you can see that this is right around the corner or just down the street from a Tesla dealership in which uh which was targeted with an incendiary device. So, we're starting to see, okay, well, now in this small geographic area, we've now got three vandalism incidents. So, again, it's very simple. I'm missing probably a dozen more vandalism incidents that have occurred in this specific area, but I think that now now that this data set is being built and I'm handpicking a lot of these and putting them on the map that it's not just a general crime tracker, we can start to see some of the some how some of these things are uh in the same area as other things. Of course, this doesn't mean that the same guy did all three, but it doesn't mean there's a link at all. I just find it to be kind of interesting that I'm starting to go through the map now and uh put icons on the map and say, "Oh, wait a minute. I already already got something in this area." Which is interesting. So, this is also very interesting to note when we get out to uh out west. So, for instance, in Seattle, the events this week, it's just been one continuous riot basically for the past week or so. Again, this is Seattle. This is the heartland of this kind of thing. It's not really surprising. A lot of the time it's not even worth tracking. Anyway, this week has been a lot more contentious based on the Christian rallies uh that have been held, protest events, prayer vigils, concerts, whatever. There have been a lot of things that have occurred this week. But anyway, Seattle is going to be working through a state of unrest for a while. I would very much urge caution for any of you out there doing research on the mainstream media with this because they're making it out to look like like these Christian groups are the ones who are, you know, beating people and that's that's not true at all. I have not seen media bias as sharp as this uh in a while, honestly, since uh the the Biden presidency. So, I find that to be kind of interesting. Uh it doesn't surprise me, but it's kind of interesting. Right now, for for those of you who are outside of Seattle, it's not really as as bad as 2020, but it could be. Right now, most far-left groups don't really have a lot of the punch that they used to have. a lot of their funding has dried up and a lot of their manpower has not they're they're just not around anymore or they're doing other things. So yeah, Antifa in Seattle doesn't have the mobility that they used to have. Uh they're they're starting to be able to latch on to things and this, you know, provided a convenient target for them. So of course they're going to be able to latch on to that sort of thing. Same thing in places like Cincinnati, Washington DC, New York City. you know, big places like this are uh are definitely anytime a a target is provided, regardless of funding, a lot of these far-left groups or groups that are have very questionable politics, they will seek to cause harm simply because they can. So, that's pretty much all I have for the United States. Uh before we close out today, I want to show you an image from Diego Garcia. That's right, everyone's favorite island that nobody cares about in the middle of the of the Indian Ocean. It's fairly busy. As you can see, we've got a lot of airframes stacked up there at Diego Garcia. This is actually from May 27th. Uh the latest commercial imagery is only partial. So, I don't have a really good uh paid commercial image to be able to identify these, but you can very clearly see that that F-15 squadron that that showed up to Diego Garcia is still there. And the B-52s are still there. So, so yeah, very very busy out there in the middle of the Indian Ocean and uh who knows what we're up to. So, that's pretty much all I have for today. Let's roll through the Ghost Net reports for this week. Again, it has been very very good for propagation lately, which is fantastic. I haven't had much time to get on the air this week, unfortunately, uh due to thunderstorms. So, it's always good to get out and test and make sure you're you're uh you're not just a fair weather radio operator guy, but there's also that fine line between you don't want to, you know, get yourself hurt or struck by lightning out there. they're uh trying to operate in in adverse conditions. But but I was able to make the the calm window this week. And we got some good news coming out of Texas. Uh one one person says that the measles outbreak in Texas is subsiding, which is great. Uh so that's uh good to see. Also, somebody pointed out that there's the new CO variant. I guess we're going to have to see what that's all about. And also somebody who just wanted to see their own transmission on an Intel update. So I thought I would oblige and uh show you that I did hear you. coming in hot from Eastern Pennsylvania. So, appreciate all of you for participating in the Ghost Net. It's going to get a lot better very soon. You will see. And it'll be a lot easier for a lot of you to intercept and process and take in a lot of the the news reports that other people can send. I know there's a very high barrier to entry to HF radio, to high frequency or shortwave radio. I know that there's a long list of things you got to do. It's not easy, but uh I will find ways of ingesting this information a lot better and showing that it is a useful tool. So, that's pretty much all I have for today. Here are the sources as usual. Again, clickable links everywhere. Um most of the the best ways to get the uh sources for all the information that I put out there is from my Obsidian page. Uh the link is at the end of every single wire report and you click that you'd be surprised as to how little people uh click that and and do research to look at all the sources and raw information that I'm processing to make these uh reports throughout the week. So so check it out if you want. It's there. This is a tool for you to use if you wish. But yeah, uh that's that's all I have for today. Hopefully next week will be a little bit less hectic than this one. And uh maybe we can get into the summertime and not be as uh kinetic as everybody seems to think it will be. So, thank you guys all for your support. Thank you all for watching and we will see you next time.

14 July Intel Update: Strategic Baselines

hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground this is the Intel update for Friday the 14th of July 2023 and as usual it is being recorded on the day prior I know it's been a very long time since I've done an Intel update uh so this one's going to be a little bit more strategic in nature and we're going to talk about a lot more uh broad brush topics than uh specific incidents that have occurred since the you know months that I've kind of been away from these this is really just more of a way to get my feet wet uh getting back into the swing of doing briefings again at the end of the briefing today I'll kind of uh expand a little bit more into my line of thinking and the things that I'm concerned with moving forward you know into this into the future because uh we're we're we've definitely hit the gas right and uh there's a lot of very troubling things on the horizon and I think a lot of people are very worried rightfully so about you know a lot of different topics so I'll kind of share some of the things that I'm concerned about moving forward and really it has nothing to do with world events it's more along the lines of how we react to uh world events but again we'll get to that at the end so for right now let's start with the Strategic Trends basically things that I have noticed and that can be applied as more of a blanket statement for the United States and North America at large I guess the first thing that many of you have noticed that myself included over the past few months is the increase of strategic Aviation assets basically the US military has been very very active over the past few months observably so through traditional ocent observers through people who kind of track aircraft as like a hobby and people just generally looking up into the skies you know standing in their yard and noticing that there are a lot more military aircraft of differing types or types that they've never seen before traveling around the United States now of course we cannot really apply blanket statements to the entire U.S military right all we really have is kind of the gut feeling that that there's a lot of military assets flying around in the United States and a lot of them due to Ocean people tracking where they're going and being aware that very sensitive military equipment is flying around in the skies in places where it's not normally observe Earth to be flying around a lot of people have noticed that military aircraft are by and large a lot of the time flying around without their transponder turned on now I've heard a lot of reasons behind this none of which I can verify one of the main theories that people have noticed a lot of military assets flying around without their transponder off is simply the result of a software update apparently the the story at least I've heard through the grapevine again this is all rumor is that a few months ago a software update was patched through to a lot of different types of airframes uh helicopters fixed Wing things like that to make the automatic transponder mode be switched to basically a blackout mode now this rumor doesn't make sense for a lot of different reasons it may be for helicopters but you know fixed-wing assets are really going to have to use their transponder when they're flying around the United States especially some of those bigger Air Force aircraft that are you know transports and things like that so and I having some knowledge of how army helicopter uh transponder modes work is it doesn't seem like that'd be a very easy thing to do but it might explain some of the reasons why it seems like a lot of units are just going you know completely black and we're seeing no transponders being used mostly with rotary Wing aircraft helicopters and things like that it could also be sop I know personally several units uh in my general area have decided that it's sop now to fly around without any transponder mode on whatsoever or just leaving you know things like iff on which would not be detected via adsb also a lot of military assets are being rolled off the line without adsb functionality because they just don't think that that's something that they need or at least that again is what I've heard again this is really just kind of a rumor thing because obviously the Department of Defense is not going to tell us why or how they're no longer using transponders for a lot of their movements the dod of course has blanket permission from the FAA to turn off their transponder on all of their aircraft flying around the United States now most of the time like I've pointed out many many many times in previous videos on aircraft tracking the dod mostly does not do this because you know in an era of post 911 if you're a civilian air traffic controller and you've got a very large radar signature flying through your controlled airspace and it is not got a transponder on that is kind of a a big red flag right so to prevent a lot of unnecessary Strife between military pilots and the suit their you know civilian air traffic controllers throughout the United States mostly military Pilots of of all airframes tend to turn their adsb tracking on uh or if they're going to be going blacked out they're going to be going dark uh they're going to be flying around in designated training areas so that air traffic controllers don't freak out however like I mentioned the Strategic kind of trend here that we're noticing is that this may be coming to an end there have been a lot of extremely rare airframes flying around up and down the East Coast ever since the Chinese Bible an incident there have really just been an awful lot of aircraft flying around the skies and I I'm sorry I can't be more specific than that because it's just a general Trend that a lot of people have noticed I just want to let everybody notice hey I've noticed it too some of this is to be expected but it also means that our Baseline for activity has shifted now if you're preparing for something in the future militarily you're going to want to shift your own Baseline right going back to World War one this is a classic standard battle tactic right of you know if you're sitting in a trench and the bad guys are in the other trench over there and you notice an awful lot of movement and it looks like there's five times the number of people over there you know that there's an attack coming right so what you want to do is shift Your Bass lines slowly and make it look like there's nothing out of the ordinary while you're massing for an attack or some kind of large operation I don't know if that's what's happening with the United States I think the United States is absolutely preparing for World War III which is most certainly broken out at least in a fifth generation Warfare aspect but it does seem like the dod is shifting their Baseline either unintentionally or intentionally which is in interesting considering all of the training woes that the dod has had over the past few months the dod has been bleeding Personnel for quite a long time but it really kind of kicked into high gear during the illegal mandate period over the past few years so on the one hand you've got the military just absolutely strapped for personnel parts are an issue maintenance is an issue you've got military units pulling tanks and and military hardware out of museums so that they can use them for either training or in a real world scenario you've got the military at large going through a very very tough time and yet it seems like there's an increase in domestic operations so that's very interesting all I can say is that this is a gut feeling there really isn't very much analysis that I could uh point to other than you know just general flight traffic increases but I just wanted to point that out that there has definitely been a shift in the Strategic Baseline in the United States domestically another more unsettling domestic problem has been the rise of strategic infrastructure targeting throughout at the United States I know a lot of people want me to get back into the into the swing of tracking all of these different strategic critical infrastructure incidents right we have to call them incidents because there's no evidence that there is an attack but it's weird that all that a lot of factories and food production facilities just suddenly catch fire or explode or something like that I will uh get back to doing the homework to finding out about a lot of these facilities but since the last brief I just wanted to make a another blanket statement saying these attacks or incidents right have continued there has been very little uh cessation in all of the different kinds of infrastructure problems we've been seeing again this is for multiple reasons in my opinion but I just want to make it clear to everyone that I haven't done a brief for so long not because these incidents haven't been happening these events most certainly have happened whether I've covered them or not uh and it's just become kind of a new Norm we all know that mainstream media has just been a straight up propaganda machine for a very long period of time and therefore most people in America now get their General daily news from social media well unfortunately social media is becoming in my opinion a less and less viable option due to both censorship and uh claims of Free Speech but actually locking down uh and creating more censorship as well uh so it's kind of a mess in the information space it is a straight up dumpster fire I personally you know it's my career has been in the information space and I don't know what's real or not anymore so I certainly cannot expect the average person out there who just wants to read the news to be able to discern uh what's real and what's fake what's overblown or what's underreported that's really hard for the professional analysts to identify nowadays but it's even harder for the average person who's just you know looking to get the information out there and this problem with social media and it's it's you know the fact that it's not as reliable anymore as it used to be is I think really at least partially due to what I'm calling changing social dynamics in other words there's a lot of feelings out there and the world and there's a lot of politics I don't know if you could call it politics or not but there's a lot of ideas a lot of ideology and it's becoming ever more difficult to just have a normal conversation with another human being it is becoming very very difficult to do that even face to face off of the internet even in my very very small community I've noticed that it has changed uh very significantly over the past few years for I guess many reasons it's not just the cities that are becoming absolute you know dystopias uh these this ideology and this problem is present even at the most uh simple human interaction in a lot of the country right so again we'll talk more about this at the end but I I just wanted to stress how difficult this makes communication Society has changed so much that I honestly am having a very hard time finding anybody in real life that shares my opinion on even the simplest of things it used to be you could walk into a room of 10 people and agree with you know five or six of those people or or even maybe more than half of those people on General topics you could probably get you know agree with most of those people on very broad topics very Broad Social ideas and social mores and norms and things like that nowadays I feel like every time I've walked into a room of 10 people I would be very lucky to even have one person who I share the most broad ideology with and I don't say that to just complain I say that because it makes communication very very difficult when you can't even gauge what words to use in a standard conversation with normal people in everyday life it just becomes such an information war that average everyday human communication you you absolutely you just latch on to it when you find someone that isn't absolutely repulsive to your entire belief system and that is occurring not just in the cities but in a lot of places around the country I know not exactly a cheery thought uh but it's become so much of a problem that it's it's uh it's really kind of hampering uh people's efforts to build communities myself included uh has just been a an absolute nightmare over the past couple of years uh just to interact with other human beings in a way that is uh you know what I would consider to be normal I don't think I've changed that much over the past few years uh when it comes to social norms and mores but man I tell you things are crazy out there so crazy in fact that it makes it hard to exchange even the most basic uh social interaction so so with all of that kind of negative Aura around everything let's let's jump to some of the regions around the United States and we'll talk about some of the uh problems that we can actually sink our teeth into and maybe work around and the first of which is in the Northeast region now again this is a more broad topic right that throughout the entire region is really the the place where this is uh most uh applicable but the USGS the United States geology survey now I published a report a couple of days ago maybe a couple of weeks ago now detailing the extensive use of pfas chemicals otherwise known as forever chemicals in short the report that they published uh indicates very strongly that approximately 45 percent of the entire drinking water supply in the United States has been tainted with forever chemicals over the past few years I will provide the link for the study yourself so if you want to read throughout the entire research study you can you can to me it looked like a pretty good study but it's been a long time since I've uh I've been on the big data side of things there's their testing parameters however were around 700 Wells from strategic watersheds spread evenly around the United States so it's a pretty good representation of the average water supply throughout the entire country and the reason that I put this report here in the Northeast region is because the Northeast region is some of the most heavily contained laminated specifically places like New Jersey New York City the uh the the levels of forever chemicals in the drinking water supply there uh was was very very high so I encourage you to take a look at this report uh and take a look at the map at least and see if you're located near some of these more heavily tainted sites of course they're going to be in more urbanized areas where there's more people living and things like that but again since these forever chemicals are used pretty much everywhere throughout the United States uh for agricultural reasons you know the the poisoning of our our entire continent basically continues so just something to keep in mind uh we could talk all day about forever chemicals and how this has become a problem and been a problem for a long time this isn't really a new thing it's been a problem since long before I was even born but I did want to mention it now because the report was a little bit more recent moving on to the Southeast region another more strategic issue is there has been an outbreak of malaria so uh several cases of organically obtained as in people who got it here in the United States malaria have been detected in Florida and in Texas of course some of them you know the hotter States right so if you were to do the research and find out what kinds of medical uh experiments were being conducted in Florida uh just uh last year you might not be surprised to find out uh who is kind of linked to this sort of thing it's one of those things where you notice that a drill or an exercise or some kind of study is being conducted and oh look it just so happens to be that the first malaria outbreak in many many years has occurred down in Florida in roughly the same area where this uh these these scientific experiments were being conducted right so again one of those fifth generation Warfare things right you know is where you're never really going to know who did it or if it's just an organic thing but we can all uh kind of infer from incomplete data sometimes who who the culprit of this might be if there is a culprit at all and uh so yeah it's just one of those things you're just gonna have to Heap on your plate uh as if we don't already have a full enough plate every single one of us uh now we have to be concerned a little bit about malaria now obviously I cannot speak to the medical implications of malaria and the different strains and variants of malaria itself uh but I have had malaria before I did contract it in Southwest Asia uh when I was doing some work over there and uh it was not a fun experience I would not uh I would not recommend it but it wasn't horrific I was still able to function it just felt like I had the flu for a very long period of time and uh it just was generally not pleasant but again it wasn't horrific I was able to still go to work uh mostly every day while getting over it so yeah it's just uh very interesting that malaria is now back in the United States it's going to be hard to see how uh how prevalent it is but my guess is that um we'll see in the next few weeks of a mass uh insecticidal campaign it throughout Florida and probably Texas as well depending on how many more cases they get which is probably going to be worse than just getting malaria so sort of along the same lines and since this is basically the briefing of just my personal gut feelings I have noticed and a lot of people have noticed that there has been at least in the American South a rise in various kinds of pests this season it seems like there have been an awful lot of ticks and mosquitoes and gnats and all kinds of bugs that aren't normally present in this many that this quantity it just seems like it's been very bad this year and I can't really say if that's more along the lines of some kind of you know biological cycle or something or if it's just due to weather or if it's due to something else but I have noticed that so so I guess this is really just a reminder just to stay safe this summer and keep the pests away as much as possible especially the ones that can cause diseases right so let's go ahead and move on to the East Central midwestern region uh really I just have one main thing to mention and that is the recent bill that has been introduced and passed through the house I think uh this bill in the state of Michigan is a very serious Bill uh I would highly recommend reading the bill yourself I will provide the link at the end and you can take a look yourself and uh just read it it's not a very long bill but it's very dystopian in nature as we all know the political government and regime of Michigan has become basically the poster child for tyranny throughout the region and uh it's just one thing after the next right however this bill is going to make it very very difficult for people like me to even talk about what's happening in Michigan right it's going to make it very difficult for for really anyone to say anything whatsoever in the state of Michigan uh without being criminally prosecuted and I have very high confidence that this is going to pass it will probably be challenged in court but we know how the court system works these days it uh it's not exactly interested in pursuing Justice anymore so so I don't really think that this is going to be a good thing for Michigan and I think that a lot of citizens throughout the area are going to be walking on eggshells like they have been already underneath this state's uh particularly intense uh leadership style so we'll just leave it at that and you guys can uh check the bill out yourself and I'm actually going to have to skip over the rest of the United States so we'll get to the the other half of the Midwest the southwest and the western United States another day uh there's just been too much on my plate to to dive into those regions uh because really I wanted to start talking a little bit more about Europe as we all know Europe is again a gigantic dumpster fire uh particularly France so France is in what I think it would be accurate to call a prolonged uh wrol State France has been experiencing widespread kinetic activity for a couple of weeks now that has resulted from many many different issues now I know that makes no sense so so let me explain France like most western Nations has they've had a lot of issues bubbling beneath the surface for a while now uh tyrannical leadership insane communist policies lockdowns High food prices censorship you name it France has been dealing with it much like the United States uh France has also been dealing with an unprecedented immigration crisis uh and about two weeks ago France had their own little George Floyd moment which taking the initial incident out of the equation uh that the actual incident was you know the police shooting uh if you take that out of the equation this was just really just the spark that Lit The Waiting bonfire now it seems like the unrest can hardly be called that anymore that's why I'm hesitant to even call what's happening riots it's way worse than just riots right this is way worse than the yellow vest stuff this is more of a straight up kinetic conflict uh various French government agencies and of course the police are now openly calling it a civil War I don't know if I would go that far personally but it sure does seem like the worst riot in Europe has seen for for a very long time uh like many Riots of similar origin uh the initial incident seems to have been forgotten uh this is no longer about a police shooting and it's no longer just a simple issue of people being upset about that uh it truly does seem like a free-for-all since many French citizens who did not exactly have good feelings towards police prior to this they're now supporting the police because of what's happening to their entire nation uh other citizens see no winners here and they're living in a war zone where nobody is in the right the sentiments expressed by French citizens are of course very hard to gauge and you know very hard for someone like me a foreigner to understand uh and I can make up any research study to support my idea but I think this severe unrest is really more of a culture Clash a forbidden topic that nobody can touch without getting their livelihoods Stripped Away we're long past the time in which the truth has been criminalized so we're all just kind of left with a lot of frustrations that can't be expressed and a lot of issues that can't be solved because certain people have a Stranglehold on all speech now so this just makes conflict even more worse again what I was kind of talking about in the beginning is that the flow of information throughout the world seems to have reached a point to where it's impossible to just communicate very simply about things so these riots and unrest and just you know pandemonium throughout France is is going to be an enduring issue I think because of this now of course the riots will probably die down in due time uh this conflict will probably simmer down to some degree uh after a while however just do the sheer number of people engaging in this Warfare uh it's going to be a while we're not going to see stability in France for probably uh several months at least so yeah this is going to be one of those enduring problems that we kind of keep touching on as it goes on moving on to Eastern Europe Europe I did want to touch on one issue which has larger implications but is really mostly related to Ukraine now as many of you know I have stopped covering the conflict in Ukraine for both personal and professional reasons on the professional side of the house it's it is impossible it is not allowed to have a neutral perspective of the Ukrainian conflict on YouTube YouTube mandates that we support Ukraine uh through their policies so you cannot have any statements at all which are negative towards Ukraine which is why you're only seeing half of the story right however all of that being said I think we can kind of toe the line here a little bit and mention the United States policy and decision to send cluster Munitions to Ukraine for use in that conflict now let me state right up front both Ukraine and Russia have used cluster Munitions and other indiscriminate weapons throughout the entire conflict it's just that the United States States this change in policy is now sending Ukraine uh weapons that the United States has personally uh signed several different treaties if I'm not mistaken assign different treaties to bands so the United States is sending uh weapons to Ukraine that the United States has banned or or signed on that they will not use anymore uh in a clear uh breach of their own uh policies now Ukraine uh cluster emissions are not illegal they're not banned in Russia Russia never signed on to these agreements in the first place so you know things like land mines and other you know indiscriminate uh weapons that that can uh and have been known to cause Mass uh problems for civilians after a conflict is over uh such as cluster Munitions and you know things like that uh Russia and most of Eastern Europe has really just not been interested in stopping the usage of these types of weapons but the United States has or so we thought at least so the bottom line for all of this is that the United States is floating the idea of sending Munitions to Ukraine now I have no doubt that the United States has secretly been providing all kinds of banned Munitions to Ukraine in the first place but that's just my own personal opinion the real change in Doctrine here is what's got a lot of people uh hung up on this escalating the war a lot of Talking Heads on TV are saying that this is going to escalate the War uh more so than it has in the past and it absolutely will even though Russia has been using cluster musicians since day one the United States stepping up the conflict and the reasons behind sending cluster Munitions are somewhat frightening to be honest uh the Biden regime through different various spokespersons as well as Biden himself has said the reason for sending cluster Munitions now is because we're out of ammunition the United States is actually critically low on ammunition for our own wartime stockpiles I've heard rumors and stories of training Stateside being taken place with concrete rounds and concrete bombs because we've sent basically every single munition in the US Army and in the United States military to Ukraine except for a small wartime stockpile that we keep here at home and I'm sure that's been gutted as well as we covered in the initial uh phases of this conflict armories all across the United States were emptied out to send basically everything we had to Ukraine so as if that's not unnerving enough so this looks like a great opportunity for Russia to do what Russia does best and capitalize on the missteps by American policy makers like clockwork and especially since the Soviet times all Russia has to do is sit back and wait for the United States to make a mistake that makes them look like a hypocrite and Russia pounces and that's exactly what's going to happen and Russia's recent statements have have reflected this right Russia has a has The Uncanny ability to say something in response to you to an American policy that most Americans would nod their head and agree with right so Russia has stated that uh because of this policy this must mean that Ukraine is uh very much in a weakened State and that they're losing the conflict uh otherwise why would you resort to sending band missions that you know the world should never see the Russian political you know regime has a great way of phrasing statements in such a way that any reasonable person would just nod their head in agreement um despite the fact that it may not be the full story uh but yeah I did just want to mention on that we're probably going to see a renewal or some kind of um uh response from Russia regarding uh the decision of the United States to send cluster missions to Ukraine keeping with the theme of Russia I wanted to briefly mention on bricks uh bricks as we all know is the international trade Coalition comprising of Brazil Russia India China and South Africa there are other nations that are kind of like bricks Plus members uh that are not really members of the full-on brics organization but for the most part this will get us going uh these nations are exploring the possibility of creating a joint currency which will be pinned to Gold anybody with any sort of understanding of the history of Economics knows how serious of an issue this is for those countries it will be great it will strengthen their currency it will it will create a a very good thing economically for a lot of those uh for for all of those Nations that choose to go this route however when we look at the history of Nations that have tried and or either successfully unsuccessfully to pin their currency to gold and get away and get back to the gold standard I think it would be very very hard to argue against the statement that Nations that do this tend to get involved in very hot Wars at the behest of the United States without getting too much into the history of things uh we've got two other very famous Nations that have done this in the past uh Gaddafi and Saddam right so both of the you know both the nations of Iraq and Libya tried to pin their currency uh to gold and look what happened to those Nations almost immediately afterwards now I'm not saying that that's the only reason why the United States uh it carried out military operations against these countries uh but it was most certainly a contributing factor how much of a contributing factor I guess is up to for Up For Debate but yeah uh if bricks uh one of the largest international trade coalitions in the world were decided to do this it would absolutely devastate the US dollar um that would not be a good thing for the US dollar and the United States would um very very hot things would happen because of that I think now fortunately uh for for now uh we've got some time left because it looks like India has basically torpeded the idea India has really had some economic problems of their own and um they're looking at strengthening the rupee a little bit more than just create than just abandoning it and creating a whole new currency uh India's been going through some problems for a while now in the economic front so they are kind of hesitant to get on board with a total changeover at the moment and of course China will probably not necessarily uh be too enthused about this as well because you know the yuan is is also Rising uh in value however with all economics pertaining to China no one uh can possibly have any kind of assessment that's accurate about the Chinese economy because it's a closed Society right it's a Communist Regime so we're not you know who knew Communist governments kind of lie about things uh so it's really hard to tell where China is at economically as it pertains to their currency right you know you've got a country that purposefully devalues their currency for for many many years that can't necessarily be a good thing so either way I know that's a lot more rambling about economics than anybody ever wants to hear uh but I think the bottom line is that there are very concerning things on the horizon and one of the major contributing factors to a very significant War Warfare in general is economics you know economics leads to War uh more than any other type of cause although the road to war is long with many different paths and there are many different uh contributing factors towards Warfare fair but but economics is a major factor just by itself so let's move on and wrap things up with some of the more enduring concerns that I have moving forward taking all of this information and all the stuff that I haven't even covered today I need to account uh you guys are pretty smart and I I can't possibly talk about every little single news item that has occurred in the months that I've kind of been away from these briefings and all of us throughout our just daily lives we pick up on things we see things in the news that may or may not be true we see things not on the news that are definitely true or definitely false uh the information Warfare has just become absolutely palpable at this stage and honestly a lot of this information Warfare is being carried out by organizations agencies and very powerful people who claim to be uh bastions of free speech and they're most certainly not I've said this before and I'll say it again uh there's a there's a phrase that that kind of is is very much a military phrase but I'm sure it's in other parts of society as well and that idea is that if you don't have a solution to a problem don't even talk about the problem right because you you never want to bring up a problem unless you have a solution for it on the face of it that sounds like a really good you know idea however I absolutely despise it I completely disagree with the sentiment because we're now on this at least in my opinion we're now on the the the time period where we've got an awful lot of problems that we can't simply ignore because we don't have a solution for it so I'm afraid to say that a lot of the content at least we here personally are going to be working on is going to be the identification of a problem and not necessarily the solutions for that problem uh we're gonna have to talk about things that we don't have a solution for now on the other hand I don't think it's a really good idea to dwell on problems that are very clearly out of your scope of control right don't worry about what you can't change basically uh I agree with that to some degree as well you know everything is a little bit of a balance so with all of this being said uh here are a couple of my enduring concerns concerns that I'm going to have moving forward and one of the the main ones is just basic human needs food Water Shelter you name it right your basic survival stuff but not necessarily from a perspective of prepping I think the prepping Community has gone or at least you know the prepping community that I see online now hopefully the world doesn't really isn't really that much of a reflection of what happens online but it seems to me like priorities have become very very skewed over the past few years and it's not just about stockpiling but in-house production of a civilization basically you know for me personally I grew up in the country I grew up in the very rural area and you know now that I've moved back to a very rural area I'm again reminded as to how uh human beings kind of got away from subsistence farming uh because it's kind of a hard life trying to build civilization you know just at your house yourself is very very difficult there is a reason why cities sprang up there's a reason why civilization came as a result of cities and unfortunately right now the same places that are essential for human survival are you know just cesspools of awfulness so we've got a lot of challenges right I don't know if it's just me personally and my observations and the stuff that I've you know kind of been dealing with over the past couple of years or if it's just me going through the same stuff that all of you are going through uh but I've noticed that everything seems to be harder these days doing so much uh many years ago with regards to self-reliance and and you know being off the grid and things like that and it seems like everything is just harder now and I don't know why maybe it has to do with uh you know supply chain stuff more more tangible issues you can you can talk about maybe things are just a lot more difficult it's harder to get parts of course inflation's a huge problem you know it seems like every honest man in the country is broke uh these days so maybe that has something to do with with how things seem to be more difficult but I don't know all I know is that it seems to me like if every day is getting more and more difficult and maybe it is and this applies not just to basic human needs but also everything like Communications uh standard preparedness stuff Seaburn uh topics like this I don't know maybe I'm just getting to the point where I'm overwhelmed but man it it's uh it's tough living and it's only going to get tougher I know this and and you all know this as well but I feel like it still needs to be said that man things are getting harder and you could say that all day long but man living it is very very difficult and this is made even worse due to the situation with regards to the institutions in our country as many of you know we're living in basically a prolonged without rule of law situation except although survival manuals and those catchy little blogs uh we're not without rule of law it's just the rule of laws being applied uh to different people at different times and for different reasons it makes it even different it makes it so difficult to even just say what you think and it's why I have to censor myself so freaking much I know a lot of people don't like that I censor myself a lot of the time but but I will say that it's a lot different when it's when it's happening to you and um there's only so much a person can take and I am doing my best personally to take measures to make sure that I'm not censored so that we here can say uh you know say the truth as we see it right you know I could probably have a whole podcast dedicated to me talking about my own thoughts on censorship and my own ideology I guess my you know what I believe in on that topic but I guess the short version is that look uh we don't live in a free Society I think that's palpably clear and despite the Talking Heads who get on TV and and shot this at the top of their lungs they have the money to say what they want you know they have the funding to be able to get out of things it seems to me like the Americans that defend you know talk about censorship and all that kind of stuff they're talking about people like Tucker Carlson you know so many people came out behind him and supported him you know when he got censored and canceled right but when it's the average person like me uh who gets canceled it doesn't seem like anyone bats an eye so that's why I say that it's a lot easier when it's not happening to you and it's why I'm spending many sleepless nights trying to find ways to prevent censorship because it's not just about jumping from platform to platform we have to reinvent how Communications exist in the world so you know it's really hard it's really hard to exist in a world where your entire livelihood can get shut off because you said the wrong thing in a meeting you know and this really kind of hints that the last uh thing that I'm more concerned about which is the culture shift but I'm not even sure that's an accurate representation I'm I'm very much confused these days as to whether or not culture has shifted has has culture shifted into something that we don't like anymore or has culture always been this way and we just haven't noticed it because we've been stuck in our own little bubbles I personally don't know I'm inclined to believe it's probably a little bit of both maybe we have our answer you know maybe that's uh maybe that's the theme for today is we kind of have our answer as to why so many people did not resist uh over the past couple of years in everything from medical tyranny to their jobs to things like that maybe we have our answer maybe they don't want to I don't tend to be very pessimistic um even these days I try to be I try to force myself to be optimistic I generally think I'm a I've been a realist for most of my life but I try to be optimistic these days because I think that it's probably a necessary feature for getting through life at this point but man it's really hard uh not to point out some pessimistic ideas which is that you know what maybe the reason why a lot of people went along with this tyranny is because they agreed with it unfortunately this idea makes everything we do in life so much more difficult uh it just complicates things and it's largely the reason why I haven't been able to do these briefs for a long time because it's basically just you know a cycle of well you know this horrible thing happens I can't find any way to make this positive uh and I have no solution for it it's just awful uh you know what do you do when you have a news cycle and it's not even just a mainstream media it's you have just every single world event that's occur heard is something that's both negative and you can't really do anything about it you know like I mentioned earlier I I just don't want to talk about stuff that I don't really have any solution for it's going to happen whether or not we want to or not and even just knowing about it is not really that helpful because it's just going to move on to the next thing right I don't know maybe a lot of this negativity is just because I'm personally overwhelmed at the moment hey you know I'm working myself to death you know they're on a renovation project and you know maybe that's just the reason why I seem to be more outwardly bitter than I than I probably am you know I don't mean that I don't mean to be overly negative for sure and I certainly don't want to let these people uh win the the last square inch of terrain that I actually have control over that which is between my ears but I thought that having a more unscripted uh real kind of uh briefing instead of a uh just a news brief might actually be a little bit more helpful for some of you who are who are working through the same thing and uh trying to figure out well what's going on and um where we're headed you know as a people every every day that goes by I become a lot less sure of the information that I'm seeing and I become a lot less sure of myself unfortunately it's inevitable and Generation War like that so uh keeping your head on right is is very important like I've said before but it it's easier said than done isn't it and I know a lot of you are are at the end of your rope uh with regards to what's going on in the world and you're just you're just looking for some solution any solution and uh I don't have those Solutions and the only thing I can do is say that you know I'm not quite at the end of my rope yet but I can see it from here and uh so I know how you feel um all those all of you out there who are dealing with very challenging things even for me there are days where I just have to keep telling myself you know focus on the things you can change get fit you know eat right move forward and let God handle the rest even if some days I don't feel like it uh that's just kind of the way it is and that's how I'm moving forward through a lot of this stuff and to sort of wrap things up that's why I focus a lot uh recently on more educational topics I know it's like you know like you know getting a kid to eat their vegetables right uh and it's not you know educational stuff is never going to be as popular uh as more entertainment type content especially on like YouTube which you know algorithmically does things to stuff like that but I'm focusing on it uh because I feel like this is one way that I can sort of Tamp Down The Dread and kind of help people move forward and and at the same time share some knowledge that's that's very helpful you know I've said for a long time that we have too much knowledge to learn and uh not enough time left and that was most certainly true uh so I think that putting out educational content at a Breakneck Pace while still keeping a good quality is uh very important and learning things being able to understand topics that you previously didn't understand and at the same time understand stuff that's going to help you through the next few years you know I think that's a great confidence booster and is really good for for helping us get through uh what is most certainly going to be a challenging decade so that's why I'm kind of focusing on the educational stuff in addition to some of the other projects I'm kind of working on so that's pretty much all I have for today uh thank you all for watching I assume seriously mean that and I'm sorry if it wasn't the more Intel Centric update that everyone was probably expecting this one to be but hey it gets us back in the swing of things and uh as more International and and large you know strategic issues start to impact us on a uh on a daily basis I think it's good to kind of understand how things are are working uh up at these strategic levels even if we we can't really do much about it and a special thank you to all of our supporters on patreon and utreon which is uh now player uh you guys are awesome and we could not do any of this work without your support I seriously mean that so thanks for helping us carry on and we will continue moving on even if we have to for the time being fight in the shade
