Air Force Doctrine Publication 3-60, Targeting 33 and conducting operational fires and precision engagements against deep and TSTs. In the AOC, JADOCS is typically used by the dynamic targeting cell, the PR cell, and the SIDO team in the Combat Ops Division. JADOCS pulls in coalition information for real-time targeting and fires coordination between multiple Joint and coalition forces. As a software-only capability loaded on the unit's laptops, it provides multiple users with a COP to help them determine which forces observe, track, and strike the target. JADOCS provides detailed information about each target, including capabilities to enable fire support personnel to positively identify targets, estimate collateral damage, avoid fratricide, and assess battle damage poststrike. Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS). TBMCS is a force-level, integrated air C2 system. TBMCS provides hardware, software, and communications interfaces to support the preparation, modification, and dissemination of the force-level air battle plan. TBMCS provides applications and communication interfaces that allow the ground commander to nominate, track, and verify targets in the ATO and deconflict airspace with the ACO. Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Tools. GEOINT is the exploitation and analysis of imagery and geospatial information to describe, assess, and visually depict physical features and geographically referenced activities on or about the earth.44 GEOINT is necessary for visualizing the operating environment, enabling planners to view natural and cultural features. Most geospatial products are now presented in digital formats and available through web access and automated means. Targeteers need access to current imagery for target development and assessment. Numerous types of geospatial imagery products can be requested from various joint and national agencies, service centers, and component organic production, exploitation, and dissemination organizations. Imagery sources include national technical, tactical, or commercial means. Targeteers also require mensuration tools to provide precise coordinates with the accuracy necessary for precise munitions employment. Point mensuration tools needed for these activities include a digital point position database, controlled and rectified by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Integrated Munitions Effects Assessment (IMEA). IMEA is specialized weaponeering software that supports the targeting of hard and deeply buried targets (HDBT) and WMD. IMEA can characterize buildings, bunkers, tunnels, and open-air targets, predict weapons effects from conventional weapons, and calculate the number of weapons and associated aimpoints that achieve a commander’s objectives.
