Air Force Doctrine Publication 3-60, Targeting 32 Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT). JTT is the joint targeting tool of record. JTT is a suite of software modules specifically engineered to optimize the joint targeting process throughout the entire JTC. JTT pulls data from MIDB and provides functionality for target development and analysis, weaponeering, and the nomination of applicable targets for attack. JTT is used to access target details and target lists and to create the JIPTL. JTT utilizes the Global Command and Control (GCCS) System Integrated Imagery and Intelligence (GCCS-I3) data architecture for connectivity to all components and CCMDs. Digital Imagery Exploitation Engine (DIEE). DIEE is a government off-the-shelf (GOTS) software tool initially designed to perform ATD. DIEE is a vital software program for the entire targeting enterprise and provides digital solutions for essential JTC functions across the US and coalition partners. DIEE functions include geographically locating and characterizing the target, weaponeering the target, performing target coordinate mensuration, determining CDE using the Digital Precision Strike Suite Collateral Damage Estimation (DCiDE) tool, and providing product and output graphics. Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual (JMEM) Weaponeering System (JWS). JWS combines a series of weapon system characteristics, delivery accuracy, and target vulnerability data to estimate the final aimpoint, delivery conditions, and the number of weapons on target necessary to achieve CCDR’s desired lethal effects. Cyberspace Operations Lethality Estimation (COLE). COLE is a cyberspace operations weaponeering system that enables accurate characterization of targeted networks, identification of vulnerabilities, and matching capabilities to estimate the probability of success for cyberspace effects operations. Digital Precision Strike Suite Collateral Damage Estimation (DCiDE). DCiDE is the program of record for CDE. CDE is the holistic process of determining the potential for collateral damage resulting from target engagement. While CDE can be calculated manually, automated tools help identify undesired consequences and hazards posed by weapons effects and aid in making recommendations to mitigate those effects in compliance with ROE and LoW. CDE analysts should apply the specific guidance and data in CJCSI 3160.01D, No-Strike and CDE Methodology. Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS). JADOCS is an Army-developed mission management software application used by joint and coalition forces that can reside on all classified networks and facilitate the entire JTC. JADOCS provides a suite of tools and interfaces that enable nominating, vetting, assigning, and planning cross-component, multi-domain dynamic targeting missions. It can also build target lists for the deliberate targeting process. It interfaces with systems and applications such as the GCCS family of systems, theater battle management core system (TBMCS), MIDB, and certain coalition systems. JADOCS software provides integration between multiple joint C2 systems of the uniformed services involved in the targeting process, including the AOC. JADOCS increases situational awareness from CCMD JFE through component fires, coordinating an executive-level update of the target, including the estimated and actual times on target as well as a common operational picture (COP). The AOC uses JADOCS as a collaboration tool for detecting, engaging, and assessing a target of opportunity or a JFC/component critical target, and for planning, coordinating,
