//The Wire//1430Z March 16, 2023// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: Financial markets continue to fail, with second and third order effects contributing to the problem. -----// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -National Events- CT: State gov threatens to shut down Milford Christian Church (private pre-school) based on the school allowing unvaccinated students to attend. So far, it looks like the state gov is allowing the school to continue operations as the lawsuits proceed. AZ: Train carrying mostly corn syrup derails along AZ/CA border yesterday evening. No HAZMAT concerns. Tyranny: Fed gov looking to expand ATF as the Biden regime propoases a 13% increase in their budget. this would increase the size of the ATF by over 35%. In a separate Executive Order, Biden expands disarmament efforts by expanding red flag "laws". Econ: Fallout from Silicon Valley Bank crash as fully saturated world markets. The cryptocurrency market is also failing, with multiple banks and crypto institutions being closed by regulators or tanking in other ways. Though crypto has been failing for a long time (at the behest of powerful individuals), the failure of smaller banks can be seen as a "canary in the coalmine" for what is to come. European Central Bank raises interest rates by .50% to 3.50%. -Intl Events- Libya: IAEA inspectors reveal that 2.5 tons of yellow cake Uranium is currently missing from a storage site located in the remote expanses of southern Libya. Nuclear officials have been quick to assure the public that there are no radiological concerns, and this material cannot be made into a nuclear weapon, but this storage site was located right in the middle of a warzone this time last year, and the sheer amount of ore that was taken clearly indicate a rather determined group was behind the theft. Analyst Comments: No major developments regarding the downing of the US UAS over the Black Sea. So far, the stories being told by all parties vary widely. On the economic front, expect more banks to fail both domestically and internationally. These failures may or may not include bailout attempts by goverments, but at this point it is unclear if bailouts will even be marginally effective. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst: S2A Derived From: Multiple SourcesNNNN
