France continues to host mass civil unrest.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -National Events- NY: No major updates on potential Trump arrest as an indictment has not been issued so far today. -International Events- France: Mass protests and riots have continued,and have become more widespread. Mass fuel shortages are being reported throughout the entirety of France as fuel truck drivers either strike, or are physically unable to deliver fuel (due to roadblocks or fires). Most major surface roads in Paris are roadblocked. Unrest is not confined to the cities, as even small towns are making their displeasures known. Macron, having been emboldened by surviving a recent vote of confidence, appears unphased by the uprising, and plans to host a state visit by King Charles III of the U.K. this weekend. Analyst Comments: Fortification efforts in New York will probably quietly continue over the next few days. Today, we saw the fortification of several critical locations, but most defenses were erected at the District Attorney's office. These fortifications were of no use as very few people turned out to protest. In fact, information has been very hard to come by via open source methods; there has been surprisingly little information in the public sphere surrounding the events in NY today. Considering the gravity of the situation, this is quite interesting, Social media has been fairly quiet, to the point of indicating algorithmic suppression of this event (though more analysis is clearly needed). For now, it seems that the powers that be shall seek to target Trump another day. Rumors suggest that Trump may be quietly indicted tomorrow (Wednesday, March 22), but will likely physically be in NY to answer the charges sometime next week.
