Hello again everyone and welcome back to the underground this is the graphical intelligence summary for June 9th through the 15th 2024 just as a brief side note I might start calling these um Intel updates again instead of a grinsome which is what it technically is uh simply because I don't think a lot of people understand what the acronym Grant suum is and they're just not likely to click on the video so I think I'm just going to call them Intel updates uh. Moving forward again so right to start with in classic fashion I'll start with the Northeast region again just to briefly mention uh the quote unquote direct action that took place in Washington DC a few days ago with regards to um what has become a myriad of issues uh so as again the protest season has kind of kicked off again in the United States and sort of been intensified due to the fact that this is an election year uh we're starting to see a lot of issues kind of come together and morph into one sort of um direct action again uh these are terms that Norm are traditionally used by more traditionally leftist groups that seek to further their cause or whatever. But now we're starting to see things like the Palestine issue uh climate change uh any kind of really sort of um traditionally leftist idea being kind of put together into one so. Even if it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense so you see a lot of um uh even I would go so far as to say like Pro degeneracy sort of ideas being lumped together with prop Palestine movement which you know doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But we're starting to see that a lot more often especially in Washington DC but of course since you know uh we know how things go uh nowadays there were uh zero arrests made. Even though uh the majority of uh Washington DC is again basically just you know a um a very kinetic uh environment for demonstrations this time of year so again just wanted to briefly mention it uh sort of in the same vein of me wanting to briefly mention it without going into too much detail allegedly uh at least six um Islamic State or Isis operatives have been arrested around the United States some in Philadelphia some in New York uh places like that uh all of them allegedly are from Tajikistan uh. But the information that is out there concerning these particular six individuals is few and far between uh I'm not hanging my hat on it so much because there are probably tens of thousands of hostile operatives if you want to call them that uh from around the world in inside the United States already so arresting six dudes isn't really going to put a dent in in the uh potential threats that we face so it's good that six dudes were rolled up uh that may have been planning something more significant. However you know uh beyond the usual Street violence and Beyond the um uh low-level sort of traditionally terrorist kind of activity like you know lone gunman kind of thing or Boston bombing kind of activities it's really hard to say you know this massive coordinated cell of people is going to be involved in anything more substantial than that so again um I I probably should go into a lot more detail on this. But I I didn't really want to at the moment because well it doesn't seem to really matter too much uh I I know that everyone's kind of expecting and waiting for the next big thing to happen uh because of just the tens of thousands of people that have come across the southern US border. However it's really hard to say um you can make the argument at this point now that that exceptionally large and well-coordinated actions are are very very hard for uh say an fto foreign Tourist Organization to to actually like make happen uh without a lot of um uh assistance right so uh again I don't want to Ramble On too much about this. But this is just another reminder to to definitely pay attention definitely pay attention because for every one guy they're arresting they're missing a thousand at least so you know fortunately if you want to call it fortunately on the slightly more optimistic side most of the people who are coming across the border seem to just be interested in criminal activity and not necessarily so much um coordinated ideological terrorism uh that will probably change. However uh at the moment moment right now we're just seeing a you know a crippling of society and not so much a uh a very you know coordinated effort to to bring down you know uh something big for ideological reasons it's more along the lines of just theft crime drugs you name it the general street crime uh just getting a lot worse so I didn't want to mention it. But again something that I'm not entirely sold on um at the moment so I'll just kind of leave it leave it at that for now and move on to something that's vastly more interesting at least to me which is again electrical infrastructure attacks now I want to cave out this by saying right off the bat this could just be some bubble with a you know a rifle and shooting Transformers this does happen Okay. However I did want to mention it because of the proximity of again this incident to other incidents uh that have occurred in the past so a few days ago in Durham County just on the outskirts of Raleigh uh it's not in Durham proper it's out in the County over on Carpenter Pond Road a couple of Transformers got shot up a couple of um I think they were Duke Energy Transformers got shot up and um now the FBI is investigating uh this is more of something a little bit more substantial because people instantly hear just for those of you who you know don't aren't familiar with the area people hear Durham and they immediately think ah okay well it's just regular Street crime well it's not it's Durham County it's out in the out in the middle of nowhere well not middle of nowhere. But it is a little bit more remote um Durham like the city proper is like the Atlanta of North Carolina um so it's you know there's there's gunfire you know thousands of rounds expended every single night in Durham uh. However uh this one was in a very very very affluent area uh of North Raleigh where lot of very high inome people live um so this one's a lot different than just your regular Street shootings in Durham the reason I'm kind of rambling on about this is because there really aren't any details uh Duke Energy said hey we had a couple of Transformers shot up at the around the 3900 block of carpenter Pond Road don't know anything more than that it could be something simple it could be something more nefarious now the reason that I kind of latched onto this and said this is an interesting case is because one it's North Carolina and North electrical infrastructure attacks in North Carolina considering the more County uh shoot up a couple years ago and the recent incident down there you know um there's a lot of Nefarious stuff going on in North Carolina with the electricity and it is very very very concerning so uh I did a simple Google search pulled up Google Maps and you could tell where the attack took place. But you can also look and I'll show you the imagery here uh you can also look and see that where they claim this attack took place this Transformers being shot up with small arms fire is just like a couple it's like half a mile maybe a quarter mile depending on where exactly the shooting took place uh. But it's really really really close to a very very large uh electrical substation uh and if you just hop on Google Maps and you follow the electrical transmission lines that come from this uh I saw some Reports online saying this is a 500 Kilt substation in in North Raleigh here uh if you follow the transmission lines they go directly to RDU so Raleigh Durham International Airport and they also go it looks like you know just me looking at Google Maps here it looks like they go right to Rex Hospital too so you know pardon me for thinking there's a little bit more to it than that and I'm guessing that the proximity of this location is why the FBI is involved now does this mean that there was some kind of Nefarious activity going on no it means that we need to investigate and that's probably why the feds are involved uh just because of this this area so again something to keep in mind you may think you live in the middle of nowhere you may think oh that Transformer on the street corner has no meaning. But just look at Google Maps man and just look around and you can see where all the critical infrastructure is in this country and you can see why things like this when they happen are very very important so again something that probably just was brushed under the rug I saw basically none of the Ring news was talking about it other than the fact it was a power outage that occurred uh when this Transformer went down. But other than that nobody seems to really be putting two and two together that these things are pretty significant so again just to recap I'm not saying that this was anything more nefarious than just some idiot with a rifle I don't know that. But I'm saying that the potential is there right for this to be just a continuation of the nefarious stuff going on in North Carolina with regards to the electrical grid um so again something to definitely definitely keep in mind Switching gears significantly let's talk about something again that's going to probably make a lot of people angry and that is Ukraine so shifting over to the Eastern European um sector uh Vladimir Putin has put forth at least more publicly than he has in the past his potential peace agreement or conditions for peace talks uh with regards to Ukraine so Putin wants uh dones luhans zapia and Kiran in addition to Ukraine dropping their NATO bid uh so he wants those four districts which are like I don't know 40 or 30 or 40% of the land mass of Ukraine he wants those districts if Ukraine vacates those and the war will end tomorrow kind of thing How likely is Ukraine to accept this ordinarily I would say they're not likely at all to accept it. However Ukraine is um Ukraine is barely hanging on and I think that even though this probably going to be quite a a shock to the Western World to find out just how bad Ukraine is doing uh in this war and how ineffective NATO has been at propping Ukraine up you know the proof is in the pudding so to speak and I think that we're going to find out really quickly just how how much maneuvering space Ukraine has um over the past couple years of this war people like myself have had to kind of remain silent in in uh in favor of the NATO shills and the Russia you know Bots or misinformation who just kind of are Waging War with each other. Whereas people like me who have no real skin in the game other than my tax dollars going there uh trying to follow this conflict has been very very challenging. However uh it's I think that um regardless of what one's opinions are on the conflict it's going to shake out very very soon I think the general consensus is that Ukraine is probably looking at this summer being their last their last big push um or rather their last effective defense uh Russia is probably going to steamroll through Ukraine this summer um and I think that's why Putin put this message out is kind of like a warning to say in August September you know when Ukraine has taken much more than what they already have right now it's you know Putin can look back and say hey look back in June I gave you guys the option that's what it seems like to me uh classic Warfare stuff stuff it's nothing unique to Ukraine nothing unique to Russia it just seems from a very very high level strategic you know Viewpoint that that's what's happening so again I know a lot of people probably will disagree with how the war is going in Ukraine there there are probably more armchair warriors with this conflict and any any other modern conflict um for good reasons sometimes and and not for good reasons sometimes. But I think that you know regardless of what you know idiots on the internet like me think the truth is going to work its way out pretty soon so again something to keep in mind and the reason that I want to mention this. Even though it's really hard to talk about um is because I think that when Ukraine comes to the realization that they are no longer able to fight anymore either when they come to that realization willingly or unwillingly uh you're going to see a lot of things happen very very quickly there's going to be a lot of international movement in very quick succession uh with regards to European politics even going so far as to say this is going to impact the China Taiwan conflict so I don't want to kind of leave it on a on a cliffhanger. But I this is probably going to be quite significant uh when the Ukraine War uh ends and it will end this is not going to be a forever War despite what the Americans and NATO may want it to be like I mentioned in the wire a Forever War require requires two parties it requires two players so Russia is not interested in a forever war in Ukraine Russia is interested in finishing their task uh and NATO is interested in pumping more money into Ukraine to further the military industrial complex so you have you know incompatible uh ideas going on here and this is why this conflict is so hard to talk about. But again I will I will shut up ranting about that for now and move on to something a little bit more productive Ive which is the conflict in the Red Sea Horn of Africa region so for those of you who have not been following it uh the houthis are at it again they have been very very effective and they've been increasingly effective at targeting commercial shipping in the Red Sea and in the Horn of Africa really since last winter so uh A dia report defense intelligence agency uh report came out I think on Thursday and it confirmed what we already know which is is that roughly 90% of all of the shipping traffic through the Red Sea uh region has decreased has gone so you know uh that's something that is it's not nothing to shake a stick at you know it's that's a pretty big deal especially considering that roughly 10% of all of the trade on planet Earth on this rock going around the Sun 10% of that trade goes through the Red Sea and 12% of all the oil on this Planet go through the Red Sea it's kind of a big deal right so it it may not seem like it's that much. But when you have a 90% decrease of a 10% chunk of the World Trade you know it's not that the trade disappears I should make that clear the trade is not disappearing the trade is continuing on it's just going around Africa it's going around the horn it's going around the um the Cape of Good Hope route so it's not disappearing it's not like declining. However it's costing a lot lot more money and you've got two things going on one a genuine increase in cost because you know you're you're you're increasing your voyage by thousands of miles. But you also have companies price gouging people trying to say well this trip is going to take us a 20 is going to increase our cost by 25% our our operating cost by 25% well let's increase it by 35 and we'll make we'll make a 10% um profit margin there so you you do have that going on. But because it's the maritime trade world where you have to pay a lot of money for this kind of analysis uh it's hard to figure out what's actually going on because you guys think the defense industrial complex is bad get into Maritime shipping uh you'll start realizing that all to subscribe to this company's um open source intelligence analysis uh cost you five six figure sum uh to to actually subscribe to what they've got to say so there's a lot of money in um Maritime shipping analysis which is why it's very hard to find stuff so when the DIA comes out and puts out a free report for the American people and the world that confirms what we already know it's a little bit uh a little bit on the nose so to speak uh I should also mention that right around the same exact time this report came out the houthis have made good on targeting two more commercial vessels so again the houthis have been trying to they've been lobbing missiles here and there um. But my guess is they probably got some more direct Iranian support uh because just in the past couple of days they have devastated two more ships uh I actually I'll I'll write about it more on Monday. But I just saw a report from the UK Maritime Trade Organization which is like the the main International Organization run by the UK uh Ministry of Defense I think uh they track all of these incidents and I just saw reports from them and from centcom that conf confirmed that two vessels were struck this week uh and both of them it seems I'll have to go back and double check. But it looks like both of them are sinking uh right now so uh on Thursday there what excuse me on Wednesday one vessel got struck in the Red Sea it was uh the crew abandoned ship was picked up it's now drifting in the southern Red Sea area. But now this morning we've got another report that indicates that in the uh Western Gulf of Aiden the other vessel that was struck uh is is now sinking as well so the cruise abandoned ship and the UK MTO I'll again drop the grids on Monday uh provided the grid coordinates for both of these vessels um I'm hoping that by Monday I'll get a pretty good satellite shot it's a little hard to get sometimes this time of year because there's clouds uh. But uh hopefully I'll be able to get a more accurate grid by Monday but we'll see no no promises on that front but again this is super super important considering all of the other events that are going on in the Middle East right now again I don't want to to get too far down into the weeds this time around um. But I did briefly want to mention just kind of the it sort of like when you're playing a game of chess right and you and you're in kind of like the mid game and you you don't really necessarily see what your opponent is doing at the to to set up their their ending. But you can kind of see the chess moves they're making it's the same kind of thing going on in the Middle East right now so just to kind of summarize things a few days ago or rather a couple weeks ago I didn't mention it at the time because it didn't seem like it was relevant. But I I'll mention it now a few days ago the 1974 Petro dollar agreement allegedly expired between the United States and Saudi Arabia what does this mean well back in 1974 the United States had an agreement with the Saudis that basically stated that they're not going to conduct trade with oil with regards to Saudi oil or I guess really OPEC at large they're not going to sell that oil to other people or to other nations in other nations currencies so the Petro dollar is something that doesn't really exist it's it's basically just the agreement that the Saudis will only accept US dollars or treasury bonds uh as a way of conducting oil with trade or trade with oil so for instance if somebody like India wants to buy oil from Saudi Arabia uh they have to use US dollars they can't use the Indian rupe to buy that oil well over the past few years that's kind of Gone by the wayside definitely since the 70s and depending on which you know oil analysis you want to read the Saudis have been doing this for a long time or for at least a few years now they've been accepting other currencies uh to pay for oil like the Russians they've been well not the Russians they've been using um allegedly they've been accepting the Chinese Yuan or they have decided to use the Chinese Yan it's really complicated I don't really know exactly what the Saudis are doing because sometimes the saud's actions doesn't match up with what OPEC is doing uh so there's a little bit of give and take there. But the bottom line for all of this is that is that the United States hegemony in the Middle East is coming to an end um it's not like the United States is getting kicked out of the Middle East or anything. But it's definitely lost an awful lot of influence in the Middle East and uh I think this is going to hurt us this is going to hurt us pretty big time uh very rarely very very very rarely does international diplomacy actually matter you know very very rarely does the personality of like a president in the United States at least matter it doesn't usually like going back 50 60 years it it hasn't really mattered it's more along the lines of what a nation state is trying you know to do so uh generally speaking it doesn't really matter uh what you know the president does or what the state department does or anything like that except for now that it kind of does you know you may have a a a diplomatic faux PA occur or some kind of mistake or embarrassing you know some kind of social incident occur and the Saudi stop trading oil with you normally that doesn't happen uh. However I think that that may be happening right now uh the United States has basically ticked off the ENT ire Middle East with regards to uh how the United States has tried to handle the whole Israel Gaza thing um and it's not strictly one-sided it's not even two-sided there's like 18 different sides with this conflict and the Saudis have have been a lot more uh shall we say careful in their position much like the jordanians and the syrians. And so on and so forth but anyway it's become quite apparent that the Saudis especially Muhammad B solman the Crown Prince soon to be king uh he's not he is not buying what the US is selling right now uh you can see this a little bit more directly uh by his refusal to attend the G7 Summit where he was supposed to be like a distinguished guest like everybody wants to talk to MBS nowadays everybody wants to court the Saudi oil they want to um increase their trade with the Middle East and the Saudis are probably the best way to do that uh so MBS you know pulling up his cell phone and saying hey I I'm not coming to the G7 literally on the day he's supposed to arrive that's like the biggest slap in the face the Saudis could ever get you don't ever see it may sound like an indirect thing. But you know for those of you who are kind of familiar with how most of Middle Eastern Nations work that was such a direct message man you never hear hear anybody in the Middle East uh give a message that direct so yeah things are moving in the Middle East I know a lot of people probably don't probably don't give one Hoot about what's going on in the Middle East. But I'm saying that it's going to affect you pretty pretty soon it's going to affect you at the gas pump it's going to affect you with global trade and it's going to affect you with how many how much taxes you end up paying because the United States it is very costly it is very costly to be disliked in the world and we're finding that out right now uh where the United States is having to pay an awful lot of money for friends China has figured this out China is trying to make make amends for the longest time China was basically hated by the whole planet because of the Chinese way of doing business uh you know the Communist kind of mentality towards things well you know the United States kind of has that sort of air about them too where it's really hard you know to to to get anything done nowadays without without forking over a lot of dough uh from the American uh people so again I know it's kind of a rambly way to say pay attention to the Middle East for once uh because it hasn't really mattered that much in the past. But it's starting to matter now especially during an election season because deals are being made that are going to last years into the future now the average person can't really do a whole lot about it. But you could definitely say and definitely be a little bit more prepared when it comes to understanding what's going to happen in the Middle East in the near future we've got a new Saudi Dynasty the you don't technically own OPEC. But they basically do you know you've got the entire Saudi Dynasty moving away from the United States and moving towards bricks as fast as they possibly can uh you've got NATO crumbling in Ukraine and NATO sending basically everything NATO has to Ukraine and still losing you've got the Chinese looking at what's going on in the Red Sea and they say hm the US Navy cannot stop improvised munitions that the houthis are literally MIG welding together on the beaches right they can't the US Navy can't stop a single missile or ones TWY missile launches you know what's going to happen when the US Navy is up against thousands of cruise missiles being launched per minute uh into Taiwan you know you see how this you see how this goes the United States uh is definitely into a an situation in the International Community where the emperor has no close uh and the the United the world has figured out what the US is all about and the world has figured out that the United the tools the United States has had over the past Century for maintaining power and control and a asserting dominance on the international stage well these tools don't necessarily have that much bearing anymore so again not to be all super Doom and Gloom. But it's definitely something to to keep in mind uh when it comes to. Moving forward because you know again like I said it's very it's very expensive to be unliked in the world so again I'll kind of leave things uh there for now and wrap things up with the ghost net uh interceptions for this week uh it was a I don't know about anybody else. But for me band conditions were horrible like like seriously bad so again the solar cycle you know space weather kind of thing it it does impact radio. However I was able to pick up somebody um I think transmitting the wire uh reports for this week uh it wasn't me I wasn't transmitting this week so it was somebody else um I rarely transmit the wire. But um I will in an emergency sort of thing so somebody else was doing it and um uh somebody else was talking about how they're they're new to enas uh. But it does work great so for those of you or whoever this was uh trying to get on invas you were like the strongest signal I heard this week which is interesting so again uh very very interesting to see how all of this works out so hopefully we'll get some more news a little bit better solar conditions for next week. But again this does point out that HF radio while it is a fantastic tool for what we're trying to do with it HF radio is not the entire end solution there it has to be a piece of the puzzle not the whole puzzle itself so again just something to keep in mind if you're looking to get into radio and things like that you can there are many different paths that you can go down and there isn't one radio to rule them all there isn't one you know way of operating to rule them all there are different tools for different tasks and there there's there's very little overlap between the between all of them so one of the downsides of HF radio is that solar weather is going to impact it quite a lot uh sometimes to where it's going to be very hard to get a message out uh I did get a lot more messages than this I got maybe 50 or 60 different messages from people um just testing or heartbeats I I normally filter those out so I normally just talk about or or show in these briefings the messages that other people might get some use out of uh so yeah again it's one of those things where you know HF radio the ghost net in particular the HF side of ghost net uh is not the end all be all there are downsides to it. However it's the best we've got for what we're trying to do right now so improvements will be made I promise you improvements will be made I'm working on it and we will be incorporating quite a few other things as well so for those of you who have no idea about radios or anything things will be a lot easier um in the future I'm working on it trust me I I really am I'm working on it uh and we will make we make it a lot easier for people who have no idea how to work radios in the future so these are the sources for this time around um that's pretty much all I've got uh I know I've kind of talked around a lot of different things today as per usual. But hopefully this has been somewhat useful for many of you out there and uh I guess we'll start to uh get the report ready for Monday and we'll see what um the rest of today and Sunday brings uh with regards to all of the little things that are happening all around the world so again thank you all for watching and we will. See you next time so as always fight in the shade.
